Obama and the Yazidis….

So wait….Didn’t Obama say the ISIS problem for Yazidis was over the other day?   Not enough are still hurting to warrant our help?

UHOH.    Please continue to pray for those people he (nor the UN nor the Vatican, or they’d be rushing with help and arms) doesn’t find worthy of help.  And pray for a president who thinks all people are worthwhile, not just Black kids shot by White cops.

Thankfully, I have no more liberals here at my blog, so I don’t have to include “And, of course, I find it appalling and horrible that any Black kid has to die.”   But, I guess old habits take a while……..

Thanks.

  1. Regular readers of yours know your heart Z, so disclaimers and stating obvious not necessary, but like you said, old habits die hard. I haven’t added to the discussion in last few days but loved following the comments. Glad you kept the smart people in the new digs. Mustang was right on with comment that obama has been reaching out in this crisis, only it seems to be to the iSIS terrorist killers.

I disagree…I think we all should be aware of the barbarity that these so called “primates” are capable of and see just how far they’re willing to go and what methods they use to further it. It’s simply another holocaust. This time, just like in 1941, it’s of Christians. There’s no way anyone could call this a “religion of peace” if they see with their own eyes what this scum is capable of. With the exception of people like Rob Reiner, Obama, Reid, Pelosi and their loony pals.

Lisa! GOOD POINT! How can we forget F&F? Remember when Bush started it; ONLY as a method to supply cartels and then WATCH where they go, arrest them,. GET THE ARMS BACK? I will never forget when one of those F&F agents who’d worked successfully with that plan under Bush and said he called whoever they’re supposed to call to say “OK, we got the guns to them….” and, under Obama, was told “Now you can leave.” “Leave? But we have to watch and keep track, that’s why we DO THIS?” “No, you can leave.”
LEAVE? Lisa, this administration is destroying our country. I have tried to stay away from what I thought was extreme right-wing hyperbole, though I CAN’T STAND THE MAN, as you know….but I’m starting to think there is nothing the extreme Rightwing has said that isn’t correct.

AOW…you must read SEEKING ALLAH FINDING JESUS. Tomorrow at church, a missionary from FRONTIERS, which is apparently a group that is there for muslims seeking Christianity (all over the world; I’m not sure where he actually is and I’m not sure he can say since I just read this book and have such a heart for muslims to find Jesus myself!…but we’re invited to the pastor’s house after church to talk with this man and I cannot wait.) This book is about a young very strong muslim boy in America who meets a very strong Christian guy at Old Dominion…they have classes together, etc…get to be very close and argue Islam v Christianity constantly. I am not spoiling the story because it’s said all over the cover, etc., but this muslim kid REALLY REALLY fights Christianity, REALLY FIGHTS for the islam he LOVES SO MUCH and which is parents are HUGE adherents to, and he becomes a Christian…
BECAUSE he said most muslims DO NOT KNOW THOSE REALLY NASTY PARTS OF THEIR QURAN … AND THEIR IMAMS DO NOT TEACH IT. This kid delved into books in his father’s library which stunned him, hurt him, …. amazing story. Most muslims do not know, they practice their faith like most folks in other religions… only getting what their leaders tell them. In Islam, the truth HURT, in Christianity, the LOVE he found there and the historical facts, convinced him. VERY FAITH BUILDING BOOK.

What’s wrong with them guarding the stores and businesses that are being burned and then looted and confronting the mobsters that are embedded among them? It’s their town…and it’s those businesses and owners that provide services and goods for them. And my statement about succumbing to the mob mentality comes straight from a black commentator on Fox. I’ll take a stab at this one. Generally speaking, when our military forces withdrew from Iraq, per the 2008 SOFA, they took all weaponry and ammunition with them. That’s because these items were part of each unit’s Table of Organization and Equipment [TO&E]. Leaving serial numbered and sensitive items to the Iraqi’s, that had been on a TO&E, would have been a nightmare of routing the chain of custody through the Defense Logistics Agency, through the DoD Foreign Military Sales Office, and then to the Iraqi MoD. Now we did leave numerous items behind, but these were of the nature of office furniture, maintanence and sundry supplies…..and items purchased locally [220v TV’s, printers, etc]

The US military hardware that the compliant media is labeling, ‘stuff we left behind’ came from massive defense appropriations for foreign military aid to Iraq, since CY 2004. In that year, in order to cement our sugar-daddy status, the US government embarked upon a horrendously expensive quest, to replace the Iraqi military’s TO&E of Soviet sphere equipment [everything from rifles to tanks to fixed wing fighter and utility aircraft], with US.

Additionally, US forces [the Army at least] has enough ammunition with which to train. Ammunition forecasting and acquisition works in such a way, that another entity [DHS or otherwise] cannot usurp orders already allocated for the military. With the footprint reduction in Afghanistan, the demand has also reduced. Additionally, “go-to-war” stocks, are generally unaffected by fiscal year forecasting and supply/demand of commercial manufacturers.

  29. Z – “…….what happened to the last 6 years worth?”

I should have clarified; the defense appropriations beginning o/a 2004, have continued to this fiscal year. I don’t have all the numbers at my fingertips, but in 2003, the US set aside $56.3 Billion dollars for aid to Iraq, of which around half was military aid. Astonishingly little of that made it’s way to the Kurds unfortunately. Though the siphon has slowed, it’s still in the hundreds of Millions of dollars for FY15.

As for an ammunition shortage, I mean no disrespect to your source, but any assessment has to be taken in the context of FY forecasting. Its possible that your sources unit [or even the larger command at Pendleton, I MEF perhaps] failed to allocate enough to be in accordance with the submitted unit training plans….or possibly the USMC is experiencing a shortfall or diversion of supply unlike the other services. It’s hard to say…..I served through the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Balanced Budget Act in the mid-80’s…and haven’t seen anything close to that ammunition shortage.

Remember how little boys played army, making the verbal machine gun sounds? Yep, that was us.

I believe it is an attitude blacks have grown up with for generations, and today’s black youth are not separated by more than one or two generations from the civil rights marchers in the 1960’s. Plus. I believe this attitude is reinforced in the school system, in the media, and by race baiters such as Jesse and Al.

I would be surprised if my black neighbors were not of the same mind. Victimhood is pervasive in the black community, and for good historical reason. Although things are vastly different, now, their victimhood is close to mind.

With all that said, I believe that Michael Brown’s earlier “victory” at the convenience store probably influenced his actions later. None of the events justify burning and looting,
