Truth or Fiction….I like it

Our buddy Mal sent me this information and I Googled it…Truth or Fiction says no Muslims asked anybody to abolish pork.   I say I don’t care if it’s all true or not;  it’s what people should be saying to Muslims or any other group asking for a ban on anything that’s in a country or city’s culture that’s not their culture.  I think you’ll agree with this response:

MAYOR REFUSES TO REMOVE PORK FROM SCHOOL CANTEEN-MENU… EXPLAINS WHY —

Muslim parents demanded the abolition of pork in all the school canteens of a Montreal suburb.

The mayor of the Montreal suburb of Dorval , has refused, and the town clerk sent a note to all parents to explain why…

“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec , its customs, its traditions, its way of life, because that’s where they chose to immigrate.
“They must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec .
“They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who so generously welcomed them.
“They must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic, they accepted many immigrants before Muslims (whereas the reverse is not true, in that Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants).
“That no more than other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity, their culture.
“And if Canada is a land of welcome, it’s not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.
“Finally, they must understand that in Canada ( Quebec ) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain.
The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.

“For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada , there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Shariah.

“If you left your country for Canada , and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Canada than elsewhere.

“Ask yourself the question, just once, “Why is it better here in Canada than where you come from?”

“A canteen with pork is part of the answer.”\

  1. Lnda says:

Love it! I wish the good ole US of A would do the same thing!

  2. “Truth or Fiction says no Muslims asked anybody to abolish pork.”
Well, there was this, if you recall:
Vermont Diner’s Bacon Sign Taken Down for Offending Muslims

  3. Kid says:

I saw an item where the prior PM of Australia basically told them the same thing and don’t know for certain if it was true or not, but it apparently only lasted as long as the PM was in office even if it was. This is the problem with this. If we don’t put things in the constitution to eliminate the practice of sharia, then we’re just spinning out wheels until the next obama comes along. We couldn’t get something in the constitution because of the freedom of religion, so we’d have to get islam reclassified as a cult as step one which it should be anyway.

  4. Impertinent says:

“there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world…”

Really? Name one of these repressive dung holes that fit that description. We all know what they’re plans are….just as the illegals have their plans…one cut at a time. PC is suicide.

  5. Impertinent says:

    their…sorry.

  6. Mustang says:

One test of citizenship should be eating a BLT.

  7. bunkerville says:

I stopped by a super market and at the check out counter was a gal in her full Muslim headdress. I happened to have some pork chops so made sure I made it to her aisle. She put on gloves when it came to my little special item. Would someone send me the list of those special countries so I could give her it next time I pass her by?

  8. John M. Berger says:

I sure enjoyed the pork tenderloin roast we had for New Years Day dinner-MMMMMMMMM! Ed, that is so over-the-top I don’t even have words…. Bunker, good on you, I love it!

  9. geeez2014 says:

    Mustang! I BURST into laughter…that’s hilarious…Good one!

Bunkerville….”so made sure I made it to her aisle” also just cracked me up~! SHE PUT GLOVES ON? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? MAN. I’d have SO wanted to say something…..grrrr It wouldn’t have been nice.

Ed…exactly. I frankly don’t care if all this is true or not in my post; the sentiment is right…RIGHT!?

Imp: I’m thinking that “57 beautiful muslim countries”?” is a bit of sarcasm. That’s RUBBISH!

Lisa…as if we’d EVER have the nerve…can’t look unkind, right? It’s fine to lose our culture and our country, but let us not be unkind (sarcasm)

EVERYBODY: I have a very dear friend who I RARELY talk politics with because she’s a TOTAL bleeding heart lib….she has 2 houses in Greece, on a fabulous little island, and is from NY but also has lived in South Florida for years. She just called and we had a nice chat until POLITICS came into the conversation.
She said “If only people would stop thinking FOX is correct and start to open their minds!” I said “Ya, well, while i watch MSNBC a little and CNN a little more, I have to watch FOX because I like getting the two sides…you don’t find them at the other stations” She admitted she doesn’t watch CNN or MSNBC, either…but loved throwing in that she does watch Al Jazeerah and European news. I mentioned how many muslims are living in Germany now (She’s also lived in Munich for years and goes there frequently so I asked her if there are that many muslims as I’ve been hearing now in Munich)….she said she believes the borders should be OPEN to all who come for a better life. I suggested they might not want to carry signs saying WE ARE TAKING OVER GERMANY, and maybe might learn the language and possibly even realize Germany can’t support them forever………. very much like my post, come to think of it!
Boy…I changed the subject FAST because for all other things, I’m quite fond of her…her German boyfriend of many years once told her he loved to spar politically with me (he was practically a Communist) because at least I knew my stuff. I was quite flattered because he was a brilliant lawyer….We sat many nights in Munich arguing politics in German restaurants for hours of wine or beer and amazing food! Life is good. But he stank in his politics 🙂

  10. Baysider says:

It sound too good to be true, but is all that needs to be said. I seem to recall kosher Jews live in Canada. Amazing how some people can be adaptive and others are the architect of their own misery. Imp is COR-RECT!

  11. Bob says:

Pork tenderloin on Christmas? Great idea! It’s gotten to the point that I don’t like turkey. It tastes foul. .

We had a wonderful standing rib roast for Thanksgiving, and now Berger’s having pork tenderloin at Christmas sets my mind at ease for violating tradition.

As for Muslims, Mustang has the right idea. Let them eat BLT. I prefer my mom’s fried pork chops, though. Who could turn those down?

  12. geeez2014 says:

Bob, I’ll take a serving of those fried pork chops…mmmm

Imp; Baysider’s right…on all of your comment…. I’ll add that your comment about getting it called a cult, not a religion, is very important because I believe all of the kicking Christianity out of the town square these last few years particularly (so to speak) has been purposeful in leading to their saying “Well, but if you want Christian symbols as religious freedom, we must have ours” ..
but, it’ll never EVER happen. It’ll never be called a cult.
    sadly.

  13. geeez2014 says:

I’m listening to that idiot Colmes on FOX and the conversation is perplexing….they’re talking about Obama saying he’ll work with Congress and hoping he does, when just the OTHER DAY, he said “I will veto anything the Republicans come up with”.
And nobody’s mentioned that on this program….I’d say that throws a giant wrench in their conversation. They hadn’t heard that?? This happens on FOX a LOT.

  14. geeez2014 says:

I spoke too fast…Eric what’s-his-name just did mention the veto threat….not the exact quote which Obama DID SAY, but at least he brought it up!

  15. Stealth jihad in terms of imposing shari’a upon the West comes in many forms.

Here’s something local to me: one of the best barbecued pork places close to where I live is owned and run by a Muslim. He has no problem with handling pork although I’m guessing that he doesn’t eat pork. And he has no problem with pig statues, either. His place is filled with pig statues and various similar doodads.

  16. BTW, a few years back, a Muslim realtor wouldn’t even step onto my front porch. Here’s why. LOL!

  17. John M. Berger says:

    AOW,
Thanks for sharing this; great idea! I’m now going to look for a porch pig of my own.

  18. geeez2014 says:

Hey! Maybe we can get a HUGE PIG to stand next to the STATUE OF LIBERTY?! ??

AOW, there are many muslims who aren’t that nutty rigid jerk type…I’m glad you’ve mentioned this here …. I have, however, found it so odd that it’s really only since 911 that muslims couldn’t butcher pork, couldn’t drive a cab with a dog or booze in it, couldn’t study at university without clean feet and insisted the U paid for the trough…etc etc. “odd”, huh”:?

  19. We don’t eat red meat for healthy reasons, but especially Pork because of what the Bible says about split hoofs, etc. That being said, my Aortic Valve was replaced with a pig valve in 2002 so I wouldn’t make it as a Muslim, right? I feel no different except I now have a sudden urge to kiss Miss Piggy!

  20. John M. Berger says:

How about a “HUGE PIG” and large facsimiles of a Pit Bull and bottle of Jack Daniels at each and every Port Of Entry?

  21. John M. Berger says:

    @Mal,
“I now have a sudden urge to kiss Miss Piggy!”
Please don’t tell me that you mean Hillary! Sorry buddy, I just couldn’t resist.

  22. geeez2014 says:

I’m listening to how criminal histories for employees can’t be requested in early interviews…and the liberal on FOX ACTUALLY SAID “the good thing is that not keeping felon candidates out of the mix multiplies the amount of applicants an employer has” WHAT? Do YOU want to waste your time interviewing more candidates not knowing if some are employable or NOT? Only a liberal.
    I know….that’s a little OFF TOPIC

Back ON TOPIC: I like ALL your ideas, guys!

  23. Will Hart says:

Yeah, I’m thinking just pack a lunch that day and whatever you do don’t shoot another cartoonist.

  24. Bob, Turkey tastes foul or fowl?
On another blog, I mentioned that sauerkraut was supposed to be eaten on New Years Day for good luck, and a friend wrote back:
Ed: My Pennsylvania Dutch relatives insist the ONLY New Year’s Day meal is pork roast, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes.
Well, Scherie had a reuben, so that covered the sauerkraut.

  25. Meant to respond to Jon Berger with that pork/sauerkraut meal reference.

  26. Impertinent says:

Perhaps some day…one day…soon I hope..we can get a POTUS with guts that’ll tell all the maniacs in those 57 islamic crap holes, “We’re even crazier than you are today. We’re sending 114 of our very special envoys as a final solution to end your cult, your fascism and your brutality with our own brand.” 2 ICBMs for each of you to start to start with. If that doesn’t impress you….we have 1500 more. Now, in my opinion I truly believe we’re going to have to do it to a couple of them in the very near future.

  27. geeez2014 says:

    Ed “tastes FOWL” good one.
I glass over just hearing MASHED POTATOES 🙂
The sauerkraut is SO GOOD in Germany !! Those “DUTCH” are DEUTSCH (German) of course….Pennsylvania DUTCH comes from Pennsylvania DEUTSCH (or Germans)…
    pork roast…mmmm

    You’re all making me hungry!

  28. Kid says:

IMP, ICBM’s – We WILL have to but we won’t……….. Damn Sam.

  29. I made a correlation once that it took nukes to break Japan’s religious/cult of death fervor.

  30. geeez2014 says:

Ed, I think you’re spot on there.
What bugs me is the collateral damage situation, which, of course, America’s afraid of….Of course, jihadists’ stock and trade is COLLATERAL DAMAGE…the more dead Americans the better it is for them, but we can’t do that.
And I don’t like the idea of killing innocents, either, except when something like 911 happens, or the ISIS nonsense.. Particularly because we don’t see Muslims marching against the evil.
It’s a hard call. Let’s face it, Japan’s bombings were a VERY hard call for Truman, weren’t they.

  31. Impertinent says:

” Let’s face it, Japan’s bombings were a VERY hard call for Truman, weren’t they.”

Z…I don’t think he troubled himself with that then. I believe he looked at a potential land invasion of Japan…and he saw millions of devoted samurais to the Emperor…willing to die…men women and children for Japan. The choice was a million or more dead GI’s? Or…150,000 or so cultists? Men, were men then. We had Patton’s and Nimitz’s….we had Doolittles and O’Donnell’s. There was no agonizing over annihilating an enemy or who the enemy was and what had to be done. We had already obliterated all of Europe and the Nazi’s…we were riding high then.

Today, we actually have potential candidates suggesting we “empathize” with out enemies…or we’re such a shiity nation cause we waterboard or deny savages sleep….a “potus” apologizing for our exceptionalism, killing our troops with PC ROE’s….apologizing at the UN for a crummy little thug who tried to kill a cop, or cops are to blame. Not seeing ISIS as a world threat cause Al Sharpton has him convinced that they’re just poor misunderstood “soul brothers”.

We’ll need Truly Nolen to tent our WH after these roaches, rodents, maggots and vermin vacate it in 2016. ( To possibly make room for a bat sheet pant suited commie spawn of Saul Alinsky? ) The stench is unbearable…as is the cowardice.

  32. Impertinent says:

Example…this is how totally crazy we’ve become due to PC and the leftist scum:

“Now let me see if I have this right. The family situation is so unstable, ‘Junior’ doesn’t even know where to send a Father’s Day card. There’s no guidance or discipline in the home. Junior gets dumped into the education system where he is socially promoted because the overwhelmed school district can’t deal with the undisciplined whelp. Junior’s major formative influences are ‘gangsta’ rap videos and a corresponding peer group of gangsta wannabes.

At age 18, Junior is turned loose on society carrying a bad attitude, a broken compass and little respect for authority. Junior gets himself in big trouble with the law and meets dire consequences. Then, the situational diagnosis is that the police need more training and understanding?

Pardon me for asking, but do you really believe that bullshit?”

  33. Kid says:

Geez IMP. Couldn’t have said it better. I’d just add that from the possible humanitarian angle, the Japanese culture would have ceased to exist otherwise. That there were no Japanese civilians. Every single one was committed to the destruction of American’s by any means possible. There can be no question of this. We should have used the nukes in N Korea too. Imagine all the suffering that wouldn’t have taken place since the 1950s on Innocent N Koreans !

As a species (human) we are now impotent to do what needs to be done because of liberalism. How disgusting.

  34. John M. Berger says:

    Hey Ed,
Good catch . We also had my Mother’s kraut salad with onions red peppers olive oil and special vinegar. I bet that you know what I mean!

  35. geeez2014 says:

I don’t think anybody would kill that many people, no matter what the consequences for us, without giving it a lot of thought.

  36. John, Yep.
As for Japan and collateral damage, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not military targets.
Hiroshima had a garrison, but that was negligible to the body count.
i heard a guy say today that there were three sizes of atomic weapons.
Big, Bigger, and “Hey! Where’d everybody go?”.

  37. Kid says:

Hey ED, (and anyone interested) I recently read where only 3% of the plutonium ‘detonated’ on those atomic bombs for Japan. Wow. Imagine if they were 100%.

  38. Baysider says:

“Every single one was committed to the destruction of Americans.” One of the great tragedies of war is you don’t know about the ones who have to keep their head down. And it’s shocking how quickly things develop to keep a lot of people in fear of their lives and make them keep their heads down.

A Philippine colleague of mine was forced to quarter a Japanese officer during the war. They were ‘responsible’ for his well-being, if you get my drift, and this had a very quieting effect on the population (Manilla). As they got to know and trust each other, even like each other, the officer confided that he was a college professor, very against the war, but forced into service by the ruling crazies with no other option. When the Americans were about to re-take the city, rumors about the [true] Japanese plans to murder the population spread wildly. The officer knew of the plans and risked his life to provide ‘his’ family with maps and the safest route out of Manilla. They escaped the carnage. But in the melee their neighbor emerged with a forbidden pistol and shot dead the first Japanese he saw – yep, the officer who had saved their lives. Tarred with the same brush. How could he not be?

It’s a very personal lesson in how little control we have. Even empires run by truly evil men have ‘weak links’ forced out of fear to tow the line. God help us, as we head down that path and have to take a stand or fold. This story about the pork and Bunkerville’s experience in the market is just a opening of the new counter-culture revolution being conducted from within and by enemies without working together.

  39. Kid says:

baysider.. “God help us, as we head down that path”

    Yes.

  40. About that Muslim who refused to come onto my front porch….He also refused to deliver a contract to my work place. Why? Because it is a church with many Jews for Jesus in the administration of the church. He said, “I can’t come there.” Then, with a sneer, “That place is owned by Jews.”

This particular Muslim was an Egyptian Muslim who had been living in America for a long time.

You can’t make this stuff up!

  41. Z,
it’s really only since 911 that muslims couldn’t butcher pork, couldn’t drive a cab with a dog or booze in it, couldn’t study at university without clean feet and insisted the U paid for the trough…etc etc.

    That is correct.

Nonie Darwish has some insights about the above, but I don’t have the links handy. She does a great job of explaining exactly what’s going on.

  42. AOW: Good. Cut them put of the economy and let them starve.

  43. John, Kiss Hillary?!!! Not in a million!!!! AAAAARG!!

  44. Bob says:

Ed: Guess you broke the code on my “foul” statement. Those foul turkeys taste like fowl, too.

OH, and ” New Year’s Day meal is pork roast, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes.”. This sounds GREAT! I love them all.

  45. John M. Berger says:

    Just kidding!

  46. lisa says:

57 Muslim countries . So that’s what Obama was thinking when he said 57 states
