On CNN yesterday, Jake Tapper commented that Obama’s absence had disappointed Tapper.
The United States was certainly not well represented.
So, why didn’t Obama attend? At my blog, I typed in this comment:
Obama is too busy with his present agenda (“campaigning” for the upcoming State of the Union message) to be bothered with paying attention to what happened in France last week and yesterday. In my view, he sees the massacre and the march in Paris as events that take the attention away from “The One.”

At first I was angry about the no-show, but after a period of rational calm I decided I was glad, as too much attention would have been on the Emperor. And please don’t give the excuse about security. Bibi would have been in much greater danger than Bampot, whose Muslim sympathies are becoming more & more apparent. And Holder left before the march started, so I guess he just came for some French Onion Soup.

The White House has announced today that not attending the march in Paris was a mistake.
Earlier today, I heard that Obama was sitting home watching football instead of attending that march.

SilverLady, I’m hoping that childrens’ reaction thing isn’t in response to my fact that more and more young Americans are thinking conservative?
Also, I lived in France and wouldn’t expect muslim kids to do otherwise …though I KNOW for a fact most would be appalled at this horrible tragedy. And, obviously, the HUGE majority of natural French children would be, too.
Charlie’s publishing a MILLION COPIES this week…more than ever. They’ll probably need more.

Moreover, I have to say that I am beginning to wonder about all the violence perpetrated here in America from the Africa-American quarter. I suspect, for example, a connection to Islam, which causes me to wonder further about Obama, Holder, and Sharpton. But no, I’m sure I’m wrong. After all, the American people voted for Obama and his henchmen on two occasions. I mean –could so many leftist a-holes be wrong?
Although I have to say that lining up to march in solidarity with the nation that gave up its sovereignty in 751 no go zones seems rather artificial to me. I would much rather see Merkel return to Germany and sign order removing all Moslems from Germany, and I would dearly like to see France re-emerge as, well … French. Conversely, if Western Europe wants to keep all their Moslems, we could help out by offering up ours.

Well, I don’t know if you got to watch or not; I just did. Bob seemed to say that because [we] are (unilaterally?) providing military force against Islamic terrorists we didn’t need to have a significant presence at the Paris rally. It was, almost, as if he thought that the two situations were mutually exclusive. Nice try Bob!

They will see that in order to keep Germany…they’ll have to go full throttle. Watch the crowds increase in size and volume.
