  1. Off to read those links. Frankly, I understand little of what’s coming with Obama’s “Net Neutrality.” Based on other measures that have taken place during this creature’s terms in the Oval Office, I don’t trust that anything he imposes works as well as he rosily announces in advances of the measures taking place.

Well, there are a heck of a lot of great people I would never have known if it wasn’t for the net.

Thanks for the links. I hadn’t bothered to read the details yet, just knew regulating anything like the net is a bad idea and so voiced my opinion when I could.

Ok, I glanced through the details (short on time at present), in particular how ISPs are moaning that some of their premium services might be slowed down by this. That does not pass the smell test because it is a known fact that internet speeds can be much faster than they are with the equipment currently in place and that the reason they aren’t is because ISPs are throttling the speed so they can sell ‘premium packages’ at higher rates. (Japan, for example offers 2 gig/sec. download speeds countrywide.)

Mentioned in the article is how the FCC was flooded with comments begging for net neutrality. I don’t believe those comments came from individual citizens if at all.

To me this is still as clear as mud, but based on my observations these last 62 years, I have little doubt that we will all be negatively impacted while benefits to business and the government in particular are enhanced. Like the weather I doubt anyone knows what the actual effects are going to be, and like the weather, I never read the forecasts on purpose anyway, I just get up and look out the window.
Beside, the current government is all about lying and ramming against the will of the vast majority of the population and it seems we have no effective representation in government to combat it.

Here is where I am confused. Earlier in the week, it was revealed to us that NSA is reading everything we type on our PC/laptop computers. They’ve somehow managed to install a spy device on all of our hard drives, allowing them to see what we are up to. This is actually mind boggling, as I did not realize that we employed that many people in the federal government. However, what was absent from this revelation is a massive upheaval from among our population protesting this obvious loss of personal privacy. 1984 has finally arrived. Under these circumstances, we must conclude that Americans aren’t upset about their loss of privacy, only about how much they should have to pay for that loss of privacy.

    Wow …

I think Obama wants us all to say “I’m Done”
He really is one depressing individual. He does turn everything to s#!@%
My hubby is having an outpatient procedure Monday and so far the copay with cadillac insurance is 700.00 to an in-network Hospital
Now they recommend we call the insurance company to see how much more of a copay we will have to pay for the doctor fee and the anesthesiologist.
I have a friend who is very ill with a 30 year old kidney transplant that is failing on top of the cancer she has . So sometimes she gets very ill and has to go to the ER for fluids and be observed ovenight. Her copays went up to 1000.00 per ER visit and since she didn’t have the money to pay the last 2 times so this 3rd time they wouldn’t let her stay overnight and sent her home.
This man is an awful, awful person.
1500 people have to suffer for evey on that now has access to insurance
I am so disgusted and yes depressed at times.
A coworker did an online fundraiser . I think they are almost up to 5000. I haven’t checked in a while.

Mustang; WHY ISN’T ANYBODY DOING ANYTHING AGAINST THIS STUFF? PEOPLE DON’T EVEN KNOW…IS IT REALLY TRUE? WHY ARE WE SITTING DOWN TYPING INSTEAD OF REALLY DOING SOMETHING, IF THAT’S THE CASE…THAT WE’RE ALL BEING SPIED UPON …IN THE NAME OF TERRORISM? IS THAT THE WHOLE REASON WE HAD TERRORISM?

    AND BY THE WAY, FOLKS….OFF TOPIC, BUT TELL ME SOMETHING;

THEY JUST ARRESTED 3 NEW YORK CITY DWELLERS FOR ATTEMPTING TO GO TO SYRIA AND FIGHT WITH ISIS. WHY DON’T WE JUST LET THEM? GO………….HAVE FUN!

The problem with letting them go is that after they’ve received training in unconventional warfare, after they gain experience cutting off the heads of Christian children, they’ll be back to perform their magic here at home. The problem now is that the government must prove their case that these idiots “intended” to join a terrorist network and behave in a manner contrary to US law. As I have said elsewhere, the issue is that these people are not trustworthy. You know, like Obama and his long list of associates. One could argue that Congress ought to pass a law declaring anyone intending to become a terrorist is guilty of treason, but the problem with that would be that every Christian, every veteran, every military retiree, and every Republican would be declared a terrorist and summarily executed by the Jackal of Kenya, Barack Hussein Obama.

What do you suggest then? An armed insurrection when the DHS, FBI,TSA and every other bat shit LEO in the country has billions of rounds of ammo…and the BATF is considering a ban on common rifle ammo for us? And pieces of shit like Bloomberg and his minions call for the repeal of the second amendment and an outright ban on self defense? When states like California who used to allow open carry 2 years ago….now have pretty much banned weapons ownership? Or like New Jersey who will throw you in jail even if you do have a legal, legitimate carry permit from another state? They recognize your right to drive in their states…..recognize and accept your DL….while knowing nothing of your driving history…and could care less if you creamed 12 people on their way to a happy meal with your car and call it an accident….but god forbid you’re passing through Newark with a gun in your CHECKED baggage…..Holy Batman….it’s off to the slammer for you. And NY, CT, MD and 12 other rotten states are just as bad.

So how do we start that war?
