On Baltimore; (don’t miss the video below, by the way)
Last night, Leland Vitters of FOX was interviewing a Black man in a suit who turned out to be a City Councilman; Here’s what this guy said…“they’re protesting here tonight because they’re fed up with the SOCIALLY ECONOMIC CONDITIONS“ Not socio-economic…SOCIALLY ECONOMIC…(said twice). And they’re VERY upset about “lack of education.” My first thought was “Then they maybe should have GONE TO SCHOOL?” He made it sound like they have no schools in East Baltimore.
The Baltimore police were said to have shamed Baltimore “For years to come” by Jeffrey Toobin on CNN, because they didn’t get in there all afternoon and stop all the problems. I couldn’t help but remember that FIFTEEN COPS were hurt in the afternoon, so they’re supposed to just hang in there and get MORE cops hurt? There are threats now from the Bloods and Crips to KILL COPS so the cops are supposed to stick their necks out, right? The unions apparently told the cops to do everything they could to stay safe. I’m on that side.
Then the word was that “there’s not even a grocery store in the community” but a Black man said that on TV right after we’d heard a grocer say that his whole store was emptied by looters. Which IS it? There are none or they DID have one?
As I type Monday evening at 6:50 pm, I’m hearing these people are destroying their own city.
This is about FEELING LIKE BIG GUYS….these punks are getting to act wild and out of control and steal from liquor stores and grocery stores and carry out microwaves from stores that are owned by their own people! Oh, they’re thrilled….it’s “about oppression!” Oh, ya, sure.
The PRESIDENT told the Governor something like “Don’t get too tough”. What is HE THINKING? The Mayor (how can her spokesperson back off this statement when we all heard it?) said they should “give those who wished to destroy, space to do that.”
WHAT IS GOING ON? Is this planned? Are they being inflamed on purpose?
Then there was a black man named Robert Valentine, who actually has great character and tells the thugs OFF: Enjoy THIS!

Then yesterday and last night arrived. “Charm City”? Not right now!
Mr. AOW and I were planning an overnight trip to Baltimore this summer. Forget it! Just imagine if the handicapped van were torched.
We’ll go to Charles Town, West Virginia, instead.

I’ll say the same thing I did about Ferguson, the cops should leave after advising law abiding citizens to either leave or arm themselves to the teeth. Incompetence never blames itself. The leftwing progressives who have trampled our values and morals, destroyed our culture, and who have hijacked our society and government are no friend to that patriotic American in the video.
Progressive soft-heads back in the 60’s started this whole trend of trying to understand criminals and coddle them instead of showing them no mercy. The people most negatively impacted by this are the vast majority of African Americans who are honest, law-abiding citizens but who have the misfortune of being trapped in progressive gulags run wholly and completely by leftwing democrats.
What did they do in Baltimore today? They closed the schools. Can they do any more to encourage kids to get out and riot?

That’s almost an engraved invitation to riot… “OK, you can riot right here and no one will stop you.” Whatever happened to putting these out of control thugs in jail? I can’t imagine what it feels like to be a cop nowadays and be unable to act.

The best of Baltimore’s out there this morning…2,000 volunteers cleaning up, including kids (including one Muslim kid) saying this should never have happened, broom in hand…..These good people have pride in their neighborhood and are embarrassed by all that went down.
I did see that woman pushing her kid, beating on him, “YOU GO HOME!”: Fabulous! A mother WHO CARES! God bless her!

But we don’t understand their frustration and they are rioting because of their anger. While they are at the rioting because of frustration and anger they might as well upgrade to a flat screen TV and get a bottle of booze to drink while watching their new TV.
For 90% of the rioters this isn’t about anger and frustration. It is about free stuff and a chance to throw and S—. They elected their leadership and when they need a leader they see the results of their votes. Much like Nagin, do nothing and then blame others.

I can’t add anything to all the above. We watched it all unfold on Fox News last night and were shaking our heads in disbelief, too. We’ve had riots in the past, to be sure, but nothing like they are getting away with since our current administration took over. Whoever takes over after 2016 will have their hands full, even if (God forbid!) it’s Hillary. Obama has only added to the racial problems and even set them back at least 20 years or more.

Now, I’m not saying that lead poisoning was involved. But the fact remains that Freddie Gray may have had brittle bones. If so, a standard police take-down might well have broken his spine.
I do know quite a bit about brittle bones. No, not because I have that problem, but rather because my first cousin Jack had Osteogenesis Imperfecta. One little bump, and a bone was fractured, broken, or shattered. 27 confirmed-by-xray broken bones in 19 years.

I was telling Kid about my best man…after I got out of the AF…a very black guy from Shreveport, LA. My best man as a stand in for my brother who was on his second tour with the 101st Marines…clearing land mines! To this day….we’re still in touch. He was my back…my hero..the man who cared more for me than he did himself. He has the same wife after 40 years…with 6 kids….all…in college in Louisiana.. The finest man I’ve ever know….color never mattered to Johnny or me….it was fidelity…friendship and honor. I don’t know how many times he saved me from my reckless self….and always had my back. I love him to this day. he’s not “black'”….he’s a hero…an honorable man….who only knew duty and my he’s personal savior. I really owe him…my life.
