Christians and ISIS…….my question to you:

Christian refugees in Middle East seek asylum in the US

Advocates are calling for the Obama administration to do more to aid hundreds of thousands of Middle East Christians fleeing the Islamic State and escaping situations where they are often told to either convert to Islam or die.

Many of those refugees are seeking asylum in the U.S., and activists want the government to do more to help them, arguing that the alternative is the extinction of their culture.

“I think Christians in Iraq and Syria are feeling a lot like the Jews felt before the Nazi Holocaust, and now is the time to get them out,” Johnnie Moore, author of “Defying ISIS,” told Fox News. “Because the fact is if we don’t get them out they could see the total elimination of their faith and culture.”

Others, like activist Mark Arabo, have taken matters into their own hands and have arranged private extractions, reuniting Christians from the Middle East with their families in countries that will accept them.

“We’ve always said these folks that we rescue — they won’t take any social assistance, they’ll get a job. They’ll make sure we have a home for them, they get language training. They don’t want any special treatment,” Arabo said.

“They just want a chance to live,” Arabo said.

However, U.S. officials have said they are particularly concerned about applications from the Middle East, especially due to fears about terrorists exploiting the system and gaining entry to the U.S. under false pretenses and phony asylum claims.

In a statement to Fox News, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said that when considering the cases, it “weighs a variety of factors, including the person’s conviction record, immigration history, ties to the community, risk of flight, and whether he or she poses a potential threat to public safety.”…Shannon Bream, August 27

42 Responses to Christians and ISIS…….my question to you:

  1. They are not so concerned about illegal immigrant terrorists coming across our southern border as they are legal refugees from the M.E.

  2. geeez2014 says:

Ed…..what do you think anybody should do about it…..putting aside your good point about less concern about our own southern border and concentrating on the extermination of Christians in the M.E.?

  3. John M. Berger says:

While I would like to grant sanctuary to true Christians, escaping the wrath of Muslim vermin, the US is in no position to take on any [mass] immigration at this time. If we are to take some it must be incumbent on other Christian nations to share the burden. To that end, perhaps, we could provide some resources, logistical, etc. At any rate we must maximize our efforts to defeat ISIS which is a major threat, not only to Christians in the ME but the entire globe!

  4. Mal says:

“Fears about exploiting the system and gaining entry”. Ask them pertinent questions about Christianity and see how they answer………….then offer them a ham sandwich and see if they will eat it!

  5. Kid says:

That excuse about potential terrorists is BS. We’re already importing hundreds of thousands of known moslems that the FBI admits cannot tell you whether they are ISIS or not.

  6. silverfiddle says:

    This excerpt enraged me:

“However, U.S. officials have said they are particularly concerned about applications from the Middle East, especially due to fears about terrorists exploiting the system and gaining entry to the U.S. under false pretenses and phony asylum claims.”

    That is complete BULLS**T!

Obama is importing hundreds of thousands of Muslims from that are and from Somalia, and they are not assimilating, many are going to fight for ISIS, and this evil administration just continues on.

  7. geeez2014 says:

So! Ed and Kid and Silverfiddle are all on the same course…..totally ridiculous to be worrying particularly about Christians when many muslims are here from areas of true terrorism who are not assimilating at all..quite the contrary; using our country to spread their evil.

So do we help these Christians at all? As John Berger wisely suggests; Do we strong arm European countries to take them in? Oh, I forgot, they look at Obama as a weak jerk now and we have no leverage, do we.

Mal: “then offer them a ham sandwich and see if they will eat it!” Send that idea to ICE and the FBI…great!!

  8. geeez2014 says:

Poor Alison Parker’s father is going on television news and talking about how we need gun laws and background checks and how the NRA won’t do anything about it.

WE do have gun laws and the NRA stands by background checks, do they not?
    Or is Virginia different, or?

If you’ve got a minute, let me know!?

  9. We have gun laws. That narcissistic black gay murderer qualified to buy a gun.
He must have passed a background check to do so.
Each of those adjectives describes your typical democrat supporter (if you count planned murderhood).
All legal handgun purchasers must pass background checks.
Some states do not require CCW or CPL, like VA doesn’t.

  10. Bob says:

Bring them in. We can take a sizeable number of immigrants, but we need to control the flow.

So, let’s build the wall on the Mexican border, and import as many middle east Christians as we can to make up for the imbalance that have come in from Mexico, South and Central America over the last decades.

What we are talking about is something that is futile. To do any of these things we need leadership in the White House, not a racist pig and verifiable coward that is Barack Obama. All we have, now, are opinions and are helpless and leaderless.

  11. John M. Berger says:

“we need gun laws and background checks ”
Well we do have “gun laws” and “background checks”. We also have laws against murder. With respect to such laws there is no assurance that they will not be broken by some. It seems to me that most of the recent, high profile, gun and other felonious caused deaths have been committed by or involve law breakers or those with mental/emotional issues recognized, but not properly addressed, beforehand. Yes, taken ad absurdum, if every “gun” could be confiscated and no more existed in the US there would, obviously, be NO more gun crime. Then what? Would all of the criminal and psycho elements, in our midst, just go into early retirement?

  12. Bob says:

Mr Parker has a new mission, and that is to get rid of guns. I might be of that opinion if it had been my daughter slaughtered on live TV that morning. Since it wasn’t my daughter, I am in a different position that is not shaded by emotion, and I say let’s just enforce the laws we have.

I don’t know if Bryce Williams’ (Vester Lee Flanagan) background had any red flags or not. My concern is that a rigorous background check is done, and former mental patients, felons, and Democrats not be allowed near firearms.

Just as suspicious to me is Flanagan’s TV name. There is nothing wrong with being known as Vester Lee. I think it is a good name, and no Hollywood-like dress-up is necessary. To me, it is an indication that Vester Lee had little self-confidence.

On the other hand, being a gay black man, he was undoubtedly bullied as a kid. We know where some of his bitterness came from. I seem to remember something about him defending the Columbine shooters. That should have registered with someone, big time.

  13. baysider says:

Well, to let them in we’d have to exercise discrimination which used to be a good thing. And we should. Love Mal’s suggestion! And that’s not far from the truth. I doubt the Obama admin has any concerns at all about phony asylum claims since they have de facto removed entry checks on our southern border and let great hordes of KNOWN criminals in and in to stay. And someone mentioned Somalia. Right.

It’s not just these, but ALL immigrants should not be on social assistance, should learn English to the best of their ability and have sponsors responsible for them.

We do not have the will to defeat Isis. Sorry. It needs to be done, but that’s how I see it. THAT is the solution. Not just ‘beat’ them, but beat them with such ruthlessness that we have the respect of that culture. Make examples as Count Dracula did. Impale them to a long, tortuous death then bury them with a pig (my addition). Do not confuse Arab violence with Arab strength.

And stop trying to re-make tribal societies over into the west’s image. Instead, renew, revitalize that which made us the safest, freest and most advanced civilization. We keep asking ‘why do tribalistic societies behave like that’ when that is the historical norm. We should be asking ‘why are we like what we are [were].’ Tribal ways come naturally to humans. Our social contract does not. We need to work on our end. And NO ONE comes in without the condition of joining that contract. We have enough termites born here.

  14. geeez2014 says:

ED, and these kids were killed in VA. Maybe he needs to do work in VA about gun laws.

Bob, re ‘controlling the flow’, you’re right….we can take some in, but it’ll be tough on our economy. Still, imagine how many Somalis Obama’s welcomed and nobody worried about the things they’re worrying about bringing Christian in over, are they. 😦

Re your comment on gun control; perfectly put. And yes, were I her father, I’d be right there doing what he’s doing…except I couldn’t have done it that very night, as he did. Yes, there were red flags on this kid and I hadn’t heard his statement about Columbine..HOLY COW! I think we’re been so PC’d by the left to ignore outrageous statements in case anybody calls us a bigot or hateful for mentioning them, that we’re in bigger trouble than ever over people like this.

Baysider, when we were bringing in Armenian relatives from the USSR at the time, (well, we weren’t but other relatives were so we helped with giving them old furniture, etc.), I remember they had to be SPOKEN FOR: American relatives had to sign that they’d take care of them financially if they didn’t get work. We had to show proof of work waiting for them. Period. Without that, they didn’t come. If you all knew how LONG Germans and French and other good people with clean cultures and great educations have had to wait just to get in! We had a business partner who did everything lawfully and had to wait over five years to immigrate to America…
I feel like America’s one big dirty doormat now.

So, yes….I guess you all agree we DO HAVE GUN LAWS. What’s this Mr. Parker pushing for beyond that? WHen will the NRA speak up in its defense and REMIND the country that they want gun checks, too.

Let’s not forget what the Left does; if we say we don’t need new gun laws, that apparently means WE WANT EVERY SICK NUT TO HAVE A GUN. i wish they’d THINK.

  15. baysider says:

Well said about immigration, Z. The German author of that WW2 book you have – HIS family had to have 2 references sign for him (they got an influential friend to have a US senator be one of them), and they had to be self-supporting for either 1 or 2 years (but no welfare in the 30’s like now) which was HARD when you couldn’t take money out of Nazi Germany, even though he had enough. His step-brother or uncle (I forget) was not allowed in because he was considered insufficient (low IQ and low work potential, but he DID support himself I think as a shoe shine boy) so that man and his mother stayed in England during the war, as they had managed to flee there first. It’s just crazy what they allow now.

It’s like having sex available at every turn – there is no mystery or value attached to attaining it when it’s given out like used phone books. I believe that is by design, by the way.

  16. geeez2014 says:

Baysider, that comment about the availability of sex at every turn reminds me of my post of yesterday and the college kids….Yes, I think that IS by design and the left has done a dandy job of taking any true value and specialness and cherishing your sex partner away from our kids. Sex in a dorm with someone you barely know sounds really exciting…….let’s admit it. Well, I’ll admit it! BUT….it’s like two rabbits or two dogs………it’s not emotional, it’s not got all that great stuff with someone you LOVE. That ‘excitement’ of anonymity and sheer lust doesn’t last long….a loving sexual relationship should.

  17. Kid says:

Z, To Paraphrase Einsteins comment about religion and science….

Love without Sex is Blind, Sex without Love is Lame.

  18. Mustang says:

My vote is that we leave the trojan horse outside.

  19. Kid says:

BTW. I saw my first female moslem tent encased zombie today at Sam’s Club. Hands visible and a slit for the eyes. It really bothered me. Really bothered me. I don’t want this shit in my neighborhood or country.

  20. baysider says:

How do we know they are female? 🙂

BTW, when Bernard Henri Levy was in Pakistan researching for his book Who Killed Daniel Pearl he saw some of these in Saudi entourages at the airport. Women dressed in the hubble bubble, very bored and unhappy to be there. His clue about their ‘other’ life and status? Very expensive French salon shoes peeking out from under the tents. Yeah, it bothers me here, too.

  21. Kid says:

Bay, was your comment to me? This one was definitely female. At least I’d bet a reasonable sum. Was it France who first outlawed burkas becuase of secutity concerns? We must get on that bandwagon post haste. Who knows what they’ve got under there.

And fwiw, this thing was decked out tentwise. The tent extended to within 1/16th to 1/8th inch above the floor. All blacker than black, cleaned, pressed and total zombie. I wondered if the big fat bearded hubby saw my hitch cover which says “Zombie Outbreak Response Vehicle” as I drove past them in the parking lot.

  22. Kid says:

Bay, PS, Like I’ve ever seen a woman’s shoes.

  23. geeez2014 says:

Kid, Einstein knew what he was talking about!

Mustang HAD to bring up trojans 🙂 (No, I can’t believe I said that! HA!)

Kid, in London you see burkas and the faces have these scary half-moon gold things under their eyes…absolutely CREEPY.
When my uncle’s company had a big hospital contract in Taif, Saudi Arabia, the people I knew who moved there for the contract work said they’d get on R&R planes to England and the women boarded with burkas and went into the bathroom and came out in Chanel suits and pointy high heels….. What hypocrites.

Baysider; If there’s one thing kid can tell, it’s A FEMALE 🙂

But, of course, you’re right…….if she’s wearing athletic shoes, it’d be tough to tell with all that fabric.

Kid, I’m not 100% sure that no burkas in France thing happened, did it? They suck up to islam so big time I’d be surprised but they did talk about it…you’re right. I hope it happened.

  24. Mal says:

We need to make one exception to our Freedom of Religion”; “Except Muslim,” because around the world enough of them have proven who they are and their intent, which takes them out of being a religion and making them a terrorists organization. Other countries including China won’t let them in and one by one others are following suit. Let those who are not terrorists clean up their own mess. If enough countries do this, it would make it a lot easier to combat. Hey! This administration has constantly broken our laws so I doubt we are braking new ground here or that many will complain. Protecting our own citizens should come first.

  25. baysider says:

Kid – yes, underneath all that material who can really tell? What a great way to hide your beard and suicide vest.

  26. geeez2014 says:

Mal, that China thing isn’t quite 100% true, but they sure are better than WE are….
This gov’t protecting its own citizens? DON’T BE RIDICULOUS!

    Baysider….beard, vest and bomb……… problem!

  27. Kid says:

@MAL, We have to get islam classified as a cult and remove their tax free status and disrecognize CAIR step one. THAT would go a long way.

    Z, Funny!

@Z and Bay. Yes, who knows what is under that thing. The one I saw today could have had 50 lbs of C4 under it. And Well, that’s what I read about France anyway. No idea to what extent it is enforced.

One way to combat this is to send emails to place like Sam’s and Everywhere you see a burka clad chick and tell them you are never shopping there again unless they issue a strict guidline that birka clad people will not be allowed in their stores. And Don’t go there. Hit em where it hurts. You can get pretty much everything you need at Amazon. I bought jars of pickles there recently. Well, many people are going to die before that happens. I’l tell you what – If I saw this person when we walked in (as opposed to when we were leaving) I’d have seriously considered going to the service desk right at the entrance and told them I’m not shopping here because of this burka clad person and who kinows whether he/she has a bomb in there. Seriously. It will happen next time. I’ll leave the friggin cart if we’re halfway thru shopping and walk out.

  28. geeez2014 says:

KID..I LOVE THAT IDEA….this doesn’t have to LOOK anti-muslim, it should come off as a SAFETY ISSUE and “I won’t shop here..” BOY, would that throw a wrench into the proceedings at CAIR and the leftwing news outlets…OUTRAGE, BIGOTRY!?

    No. SAFETY, you idiots 🙂

  29. Kid says:

Z, I just talked to my wife about this. She is on board Yahooo!.

If we are in a store, any store and see burka clad person, we’re going to leave and let customer service know why we’re leaving, and follow it up with email to store management. We could be 10 seconds from checking out with a full cart and Bang. We’re leaving our cart and we are gone.

  30. John M. Berger says:

“I don’t know if Bryce Williams’ (Vester Lee Flanagan) background had any red flags or not.”

  31. geeez2014 says:

    Kid, that’s a fantastic idea.

JMB….ya, I think there were plenty of red flags…but, you know, as I said above, if anybody says anything, then you’re a racist and bigot and unkind and “he’s just in a bad mood” blahblahblah….people really think 10 times before turning someone in, and even then, who TO? Who do you go to if you suspect someone’s unhinged??

  32. Kid says:

Z, I’m actually looking forward to having it happening sometime and calmly explaining to the service clerk why we are leaving. Should hey look at me like I’m a “islamophobe”, I’ll just say talk to me after one blows up in their face.

  33. geeez2014 says:

Kid; I LIKE that response….get THEM worrying, THEN maybe they’ll go to their bosses and insist.
Seriously, Kid….you need to start a movement!

  34. baysider says:

This little burka-babe caused a ruckus with a police officer, then tried to use the argument that she can’t be charged because no one saw her face or got her identification! You MUST see the image of these two ‘women’, mad as hornets, looking like Darth Vader knockoffs at exactly 2:00 as they storm across the court plaza:

This gives some credence to Kid’s suggestion:

  35. Kid says:

Z, One man and one woman Movement started. Maybe MAD can video the event and we’ll put it on youtube, then katie couric can interview us and we’ll tell her to explain to us how socialism works anywhere, after all her ‘pope’ al gore says it is so. Lol.

  36. geeez2014 says:

Baysider, imagine? no face, no id, but they want to be believed!

Kid’s suggestion was totally is Pipes, whose quoted in my blog post TODAY (Saturday), coincidentally.

  37. Mal says:

Kid, your idea is good, except then they could simply wear normal clothes but still have explosives tied on their hidden waists. If they want to blow themselves up in the process, there is no way to stop them so the answer is to not have them in our country to begin with. Period. That could be accomplished by having them classified as a terrorist group and not a religion, as we both suggest.

  38. Kid says:

Mal, you’re right of course. But one of them is going to blow up someday in an American store or otherwise heavily populated spot. They’ve done it in other countries. I don’t have another idea at the moment, especially with the chief moslem in the white house.

Bay, Thanks for the link. I guess it’s going to take one of them blowing up.

  39. Mustang.Koji says:

Our borders are bulging with “undocumented” immigrants… My feeling is we don’t need anymore, especially when we ignore our veterans and Obama HANDS beaucoup bucks to such immigrants. Wait a minute. My argument is flawed. Our borders can’t be bulging as we don’t have any…

  40. Mal says:

You’re right, Kid, about the chief Muslim in the WH. This is something we all knew BEFORE he became president, yet his supporters still can’t see who he really is and his mission to destroy us.
    And they did it TWICE!

  41. Kid says:

    MAL, that says it all.
