Hillary Hearing

Nothing will come of the information the Committee has come up with.  We should have known that.  Or do you feel differently?  Democrats are saying this made her look good.  What about that thing with the Egyptian Prime Minister?  She didn’t even know what criteria HER lawyers used as to what they turned in and what they didn’t.   It seems to me there were things this panel could have hit hard on but they wasted time meandering on about “Was he still at your office when you left?”  “Was she at your office..?”  blahblahblah.

BUT:  What REALLY bothered me was the witheringly dismissive Democrats, and Hillary, when they said things like “This is just a witch hunt, we’re so sorry you have to go through this, Mrs. Clinton,” and she’d sort of purse her lips and smile in agreement.   “It’s late and we’re sorry you’ve been subjected to this type of questioning, this is ridiculous” (I’m paraphrasing, but..) .   Cummings came right out of the box with that kind of insult.

We know Hearings can be contentious but do you remember that type of treatment of a committee panel in past?

They do this for repubs all the time. You remember scooter libby no?

  2. Imp says:

It was clear to me they had zero interest in fact finding or determining how these men were lost. They contributed nothing to finding out what happened, what went wrong or how it could be avoided in the future. The dems were more intent and interested in attacking their opposite peers on the committee and sucking on cankels ankles. It was another disgusting display of party over truth, party over country and party to protect her majesty from being tarnished so she can ascend to her rightful throne. The dems disgust me…I’d rather have ISIS members replace them in congress…..at least we’d know they were being honest about what they stood for and their real intentions. I hate demrats….they’re a disease, a blight and a stain on this country.

  3. She could have smiled in to the camera and said “I had a hit put on all of them” and the media would remark how presidential it was.

Hell is freezing over. Same ole Sh_t!!!!

geeeZ, it’s so hard to say…..some of the FOX folks convinced me I’m wrong and Hillary didn’t stand tall…even some CNN Libs weren’t sold on her performance.

I was surprised Van Jones is touting her because we all know how that (handsome) Commie loves Obama and I think we all know there’s no love lost between Obama and Hillary.

Sad about Bob Beckel and FOX…FOX was stupid and lost a guy who could have been brought to our side, in my opinion………..now he’ll be more evil than usual.

  6. geeez2014 says:

    Ed, you’re right.

    Koji-san….true!

Imp; the Reps just look STUPID now…they just didn’t HONE IN on the points that were obviously QUESTIONABLE at LEAST..they went off into never-never land for eleven hours of nuttiness….they should have demanded her answers re the most damning stuff, but…they bit themselves in the bottom again.

    Kid…yes. sad, isn’t it.

  7. Democrats are saying this made her look good.

Well, I don’t understand that one.

Sure, some of the committee members were aggressive in their questioning. So what? That’s the way that that investigative hearings typically are.

She basically stonewalled. And it’s back to business as usual for her today.

Anyone who has not been following the story line would think Hillary did well IMO. She didn’t lose her cool, and anyway, what does truth have to do with the matter? ( I can’t believe I sat through the whole thing)

  9. John M. Berger says:

Will she survive these proceedings only to [appear] stronger in the eyes of all too many entitled to vote for our continuing demise? The committee members, Cummings , et al, who acted as her defense council made me want to puke. I couldn’t continue to watch her obfuscate the truth while those “members” attempted to decry the very purpose of the hearing. As I see it so far, her minions will stand-by her no matter what, while ‘low information’ types, oblivious to these proceedings, will support her, as well. Insofar as the latter is concerned, Waters’ presentation on O’Reilly last night spoke volumes.

I am no fan of Hillary Clinton. I think she is a dangerous woman and one who is addicted to power. I also believe she is incompetent, politically corrupt, and personally dishonest. I do not wish to see her in the White House as America’s president. But with that said, I was underwhelmed by the Benghazi hearings today. They did not accomplish a single thing beyond demonstrating what we already know (for a refresher, see above), and offering Clinton a platform whereby she can enhance her standing among voting morons.

Worse than this, nothing discovered by the congressional committee actually matters. Why? Let me explain —

Clinton’s incompetence led to the death of four Americans: one ambassador, one technical assistant, and two contract security guards. In the aftermath of the terrorist attack, Clinton did as she was told by the President and his minders to obfuscate what actually occurred, and the vehicle for achieving this was the story about an objectionable video. Note: does anyone have any idea how many objectionable videos there are in the world today —to Mohammedans, I mean?

Subsequently, Ms. Clinton stood before the podium and said, “I take full responsibility for what happened in Benghazi.” This is a lie, of course. If Ms. Clinton actually took responsibility for her criminal negligence, she would be in jail right now. That will never happen, and so Ms. Clinton entirely avoided the second half of responsibility: accountability. She was not accountable then, and she is not accountable now. The only possible exception to this is that Ms. Clinton may lose her bid for the presidency —but given the pea-sized brains of most Americans, my guess is that she will win the presidency and be therefore rewarded for her gross incompetence.

  11. Mal says:

IMO, the thing that saved her about the “Stand Down” order is her explanation that the host countries often make conditions that no military be based with the Diplomats, but even that should be ignored when the host country either can’t or won’t offer any protection and we should’ immediately send in choppers to rescue them.

  12. Kid says:

Yea, she is grossly criminally incompent at the least, but as we see wiht obama no one cares about competence, experience, or a person’s character.

  13. Sparky says:

Hillary Clinton, or any other Demoncrat, can be a self-professed child molester, ax wielding maniac, tax evader, or any other evil, and still the Dem’s would follow her (or if it’s a him) blindly. So, yes, in one way it was pointless. In another, as the Bible so rightly states, it’s “heaping coals of fire on (her) head” [Proverbs 25:22] for all eternity. So, there’s always that.

  14. Mustang says:

    @ Sparky

My guess is that HRC will have a very long life, and the reason for this is that Lucifer doesn’t want her in hell trying to take over.

    Good one !
