The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost,
Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration,
politics without God, heaven without hell.
William Booth
“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.”
― William Saroyan
The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill

I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Congrats to the newly married couple……….and to you, too, Z. May God provide a better future for them than we currently see unfolding before our eyes. These are critical times and we pray that things will get better.

Congratulations to the new couple! I humbly pray that they will be as happy as my husband and I have been for over 36+ years. I married a keeper. God bless Z and hope your trip was easy and trouble free. Prayers for you all. 🙂

Kid, perfect toast-er, that’s for SURE!
THANK YOU, everybody…honestly, it was a fantastic wedding weekend..>Drove up Fri AM to Northern California and stayed at a beautiful hotel…full of family and friends………great rehearsal dinner/party at the groom’s parents that evening…then the fabulous wedding Saturday at 4 and reception afterwards with great food and really good music back at the hotel…
Wedding breakfast for out of towners at the hotel this morning, then we drove back down home (about 7 hours).
Fun, too, was hitting Harris Ranch, halfway up the drive, for breakfast with another sis and her kids on the way, then meeting them again for lunch today…Hurrah for cell phones and texting “where are you guys now? 10 minutes from Harris Ranch? We’ll see ya there!” 🙂
My Goddaughter was so beautiful I could literally barely take her in at first…a total vision in head to toe Alencon lace…she’s got a very thin, lovely figure and it was a close fitted long gown ….for the ladies who’d like to know 🙂 Plunging V back, no sleeves……
Well, I could go on and ON and on, but suffice it to say this was a REALLY fun weekend, jam packed with great times and I thank you all SO MUCH for your prayers for travel safety and for my dear niece and her new husband!

Baysider, on my Blue/NYPD post, some of us were praying that things went well for you up North.
I’m praying that’s the case.
