A man I have met is living in the midst of very troubled land in the Middle East. I am not allowed to give his location or any details. Suffice it to say we probably wouldn’t go there…particularly now. He is hearing, more and more, from Christian, and the muslims he works with in this area, that “if America wanted to stop ISIS, they could…why aren’t they?” I felt this was important to share with you all. These are muslims who want the muslims in ISIS defeated completely.
Also, as a “secret” missionary and secular healthcare adviser, he meets many muslims who say that the Bible has been ‘corrupted’….These are friends of his and they are curious of Christianity but can’t get past certain thinking they’ve been trained to believe. They’re very kind to him, supportive of his work in other areas (he’s obviously living in various levels of danger most of the time), and some are coming to faith, but I also wanted you to hear this “corrupted” stuff because it’s in need of prayer. This man asks for prayer for the safety of his family but, mostly, for the winning of souls.
“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1: 13-14
Please pray for my acquaintances in the Middle East….May God bless this little family….and may they be able to help them trust in the Bible. Keep them safe and help them spread the word……a word that could, in comparison to islam, lead to true peace on this earth.
And, also, from here at home: Please pray for the family and friends of Officer Garrett Swasey, the Policeman and Co-Pastor at a local church in Colorado Springs who was shot in the terrible situation on Saturday…for his wife and two small children in their horrible grief.

The idea that the “Bible is corrupted” is built into Mohammedan teachings. Bible stories from the Old Testament are in the Koran in perverted form. For example, the Passover story is really about Moses telling Pharoah he had to worship Allah. Ishmael was the child of promise not Isaac, etc. The only for followers of Allah to accept the accuracy of the Bible is for them to (inside themselves) deny and renounce the Koran. We need to pray for them, and also understand that only God can open their eyes, just as He is the only one who can open the eyes of unsaved Americans, too. How good that He does.

Many people speak of a “God shaped hole” that is like a missing puzzle piece that some will find in themselves that they then see that Jesus fits perfectly when presented to them.
I believe that we have a “spirit” that as dead as it might be still reacts to the Gospel much as a tuning fork reacts to another similarly tuned fork in “sympathetic vibration”.
God’s word sets a “ringing” in the hearer that is tuned to it that they respond, recognizing the truth of what is being spoken to them.
Well, I guess I’ll elaborate on this and blog it. Thanks.
I praise and pray for that man and friends of mine that are over “there” doing the same.

SF..it’s almost sickening. Today, I heard an interview with a German journalist who has spoken to ISIS leaders/members…he said their one HUGE dream is to have American boots on the ground again. THAT , he says, is their whole desire….to fight them there.

SF is on to something. I think Obama and his JV team want to knock out America first. What Jimmy Carter did through sincerity and ineptitude, Obama is doing through cunning and malice. In ISIS he sees an opportunity to diminish America still further.
I’m so glad you posted on this. It is a flicker of encouragement to know that many hate Isis and even have some hope in the United States. And it gives us an opportunity to pray knowledgeably (enough) for a brother.

yup….the TURKS are going to make the borders better and take some illegals back! Don’t hold your breath on that …. And THREE BILLION EUROS to care for the refugees!? FROM mostly (drum roll) GERMANY. Which, by the way, is not doing as economically well as you hear in the news anymore. Trust me. The refugees were causing huge problems BEFORE this large influx.

Mohammed really wanted to get in on this holy stuff, so in his book he demoted Jesus from Lord to prophet. To demote Jesus to just a prophet, Mohammed had to twist the Scriptures. Deny God. Deny His holiness. Deny his power. Equate yourself as a prophet, and write your own books complete with reports of supernatural events.

btw, Turkey has just brought out in the open what’s really going on: They had in within their power all the time to stop this flow but didn’t. Turkey is also the gateway for foreign fighters to get to ISIS territory. The Turks are murderous, perfidious scumbags. If Europe were smart (and they are not) They would wall themselves off from Turkey and consign them to the ME where they belong.
I really can’t believe how stupid Europe has become. Do they really think any of this will advance the democratic liberalism they’ve worked so hard for? They’re toast. And if Obama and the leftwing loons in this country have their way, we’ll be down the same road.
I do not understand how true liberals cannot see that allowing in people from the ME will result in less liberalism, not more.

Well, here’s my logic to prove obama is either helping ISIS or is the biggest moron to walk the Earth. We were supposed to be out of Afghanistan in 2014. Still there. Still offering up American lives and limbs in an impossible situation for success. Afghanistan will never be a unified country that will purge its taliban. Total waste of time, money, and American blood sweat and tears. And Yes, Bush should have shut that thing down before leaving office. Gitmo too. Send em back to the sandbox or kill em.
Now we have ISIS which obama is doing literally Nothing about. Who do you think the bigger threat to civilization is? ISIS or the taliban ? Pretty easy for me to answer.

Brother, I wish I could quote from an email I just got from a bunch of young people doing missionary work in Arabic countries and in China! Young Arabs carrying around Bibles in Arabic, a Jesus video, etc etc……….Muslims have been saying to them “We have never seen happier shining faces than yours…!” and they say “it’s prayer in Jesus!”
I’m really stunned at the many examples I just read about……..but the email has “Do not forward or post” Suffice it to say these are small steps but good steps…

SF, I don’t see the EU as stupid as much as Desperate. They cling to their socialism as it draws them all down the drain. Then rather than conceive of the idea that socialism does not work, they take their individual socialist parasite countries and form a union of socialist parasite countries with a couple healthy ones (Germany, ?) in for good measure. When this ridiculous exercise displays its failure, they import massive numbers of barbarians thinking that unemployable vermin will somhow add to their revenue stream. They lost it when they created the EU in the first place. Now they act as if they are 19 year old progressives in American colleges who think that they can tax ‘rich’ people at a 90 % rate and those people will pay and pay.
Needless to say that you could take All the wealth of the rich who you could associate to America (about 6 or 7 trillion) and you’d only be able to run the country for about a year. What then?
This is the real problem. People who are so mind bendingly stupid it’s impossible to even conceive of a strategy to put them on track. They’re so stupid that if you try to help them, they’ll kill you in response. This is a dinosaur environment. The absurdly stupid need to die of their own hand, so that those left might have a chance to live. They are as much of a cancer as is the moslems.

ya, that’s astonishing….I saw a Naval Academy one last week that knocks your socks off…ALL of them brandishing their weapons at the same time, some guy walking THROUGH them as they’re throwing them back and forth.
