No wonder people home school……….

Someday, we might get sane and fair and back to our American roots again, and something LIKE THIS will never happen again.   It’s the most unethical, obvious, disgusting display of public school leftwing bias I’ve seen in, what…a week?

Imagine if ANY school was caught doing this for a Republican was caught?

  1. This kind of promotion used to be more subtle. No more!

Is this happening because the Dems are feeling empowered or because they’re feeling threatened by the 2016 Election?

The homeschool group with which I’m associated actually included students and parents all along the political specturm — although most are conservatives. If I’m offering extra credit for election or political involvement, I apply the extra credit regardless for whom my students have worked.

Recently, my students wrote a story satirizing 21st Century politics or 21st Century society. Yes, we had some students writing stories with a liberal slant. So what? Those with whom I disagreed certainly weren’t graded down for choosing any particular topic.

I do, of course, draw the line at foul language, which only one student has tried to get by with during the 19 years of my working with homeschoolers.

The homeschool group’s focus for “community service opportunity” has been veterans: Decorate a Vet or greeting Honor Flights and the like.

Hypocrisy has long been the primary energy source that drives the left. When the promises are fulfilled, the party blossoms, and when they’re caught with their pants down, they simply pull ’em back up, no harm – no foul, and get on with the bamboozle du jour.

Traditionally when a Republican is caught en flagrante delicto, he does the honorable thing and resigns. When a Democrat is caught in the same infraction, he delects, distracts, and dismisses it as a non-issue blown out of proportion by the vast right-wing conspiracy.

  3. Silverfiddle says:

Democrats have a knack for making whatever institution they infest look like something out of Castro’s Cuba.

  4. geeez2014 says:

AOW, the school with which I’m associated leans Right, but the kids get so much in the media, etc., that they don’t! What is probably good, but bugs the part of me that understands and rues leftwing hypocrisy in public schools, is that our right leaning teachers don’t push their agenda like leftwing teachers so often do in public or left-leaning private schools. They don’t feel it’s right and I admire that, obviously, but you see my point!
And here you are, doing the right thing…….
That this school in my article would actually have kids stumping for HIllary disgusts me…
As SF says, this really is like Castro’s Cuba.

bocopro; you are SO RIGHT about the Left and Right…The leftwingers obfuscate until the story’s gone (or give the story to Darryl Issa, whose hearings push it off the front pages in their ineptitude in getting the truth out there).

SF…ain’t it the truth. A 2nd year college student I know, at Furman in S. Carolina, is spending the month of May in Cuba …the class is in writing ..CUBA? I found that fascinating. Apparently, our administration is doing all they can to normalize that regime.

  5. Bob says:

SF speaks wisdom. Democrats would lie when the truth would sound better.

There are all sorts of parallel issues with schools. For example, who in the administration agrees to one fund raising scheme over another? Is there any monetary feedback or benefits for the administration decision makers? Even at that, I miss the high band and chorus kids coming around once a year selling cases of apples and oranges. That was good stuff.

It seems to me that a school system owes a degree of privacy to students and staff vis-a-vis their email addresses, home addresses, and telephone numbers. That principal that is handing out email addresses needs to be fired.

  6. geeez2014 says:

BUT, the good thing in that article was ALL kids are not lost! : “My son didn’t appreciate being targeted by anybody via his school email for a political campaign,” Mrs. Galvin told me. “I’ll be honest – he’s not a fan of Hillary Clinton to begin with. He’s done his homework and he doesn’t like her.”

  7. Mustang says:

Public education has become an instrument of leftists to destroy America. I am not amazed by the number of people who homeschool their children or enroll them in private schools; I am amazed by the number of parents who don’t.

    OFF TOPIC:
The president (Surprise!) just vetoed the Republican attempt to can Obamacare. Big deal….nothing new.

What’s NEW is the Republicans actually got close to describing WHY they wanted to change Obamacare…and what they would do instead…………but only CLOSE.

WHY, oh WHY wasn’t this covered IN DEPTH?: Is this just becoming another ISSA HEARING FIASCO?….where Republicans NEVER miss an attempt to grab victory from the jaws of defeat? (or whatever that saying is)….

IT MADE SENSE…THEY HAD SOME GOOD IDEAS….
One of the CNN criticisms of their overthrow attempt was “Gee, it’s so popular among young people who’re covered by their folks’ insurance now till they’re 26”..
SO, Republicans……….why not KEEP what’s very popular, or at least describe why we can’t.
    ??

    UGH…

  9. Mal says:

Yeah, I saw this yesterday, too. Not to worry. She is going down! Hillary is on her way out, even possibly to jail for all her misdeeds. If she doesn’t, she still can’t win. Like I’ve been saying, she has too much excess baggage to casually shake off, try as she may. She is going down and you can take that to the bank.

  10. Baysider says:

I almost missed this: “Everyone working on the campaign now started off as a fellow at some point.” It sounds like they’ve been doing this for awhile.

I recall in the first days of community volunteer requirements, one teen’s work was rejected because it was with a pro life group. This has always been slippery.

  11. jerrydablade says:

More hypocrisy from the left. I never liked the school requirements for students to perform community service. I know from experience it just taught kids to lie and finagle receipts from conspiring adults to cheat for them. In other words, it grooms kids to be democrats. It’s not that I don’t think we should teach our kids about serving others, I just get a radar alert when the state gets involved.

  12. Baysider says:

    JDB – hear, hear!!

  13. geeez2014 says:

Baysider! “Everyone working on the campaign now started off as a fellow at some point.” It sounds like they’ve been doing this for awhile..

Are they telling us they’re all like Bruce JENNER? HE started our AS A FELLOW (sorry, couldn’t resist! )( 🙂

Jerry…Double the HEAR HEAR from Bay….

EVERYBODY: Think Hillary’s getting so close to indictment, etc etc (fat chance, but we can hope) and that’s why , suddenly, Biden’s now saying “oh, gee…there isn’t a day I go by that I don’t wish I’d run”.
But, I guess he’s missed the deadline so he really can’t run, right?

  14. Baysider says:

Not a snowball’s chance in hell she’ll be indicted. Not saying she shouldn’t be ….

  15. Sparky says:

If recruiting students to work in a political campaign is not illegal, it’s certainly immoral. [shaking my head in disgust] Really, if I had kids they would not be in a Public School (or as I call them, Government Indoctrination Centers). Teachers no longer teach, they are government sponsored baby sitters. Shameful!

  16. geeez2014 says:

Ditto to both Bay and Sparks….amen to that..
Hillary will NEVER be indicted and our kids are SCREWED, pardon the expression 🙂

  17. Z,
WHY, oh WHY wasn’t this covered IN DEPTH?

Control the message, control the people.

  19. Mal says:

Baysider, I believe she can and will be prosecuted by the Right if we get into office. Then the “ship will hit the sand”. ;o)

  20. geeez2014 says:

    AOW…no the REPUBLICANS could have got the message out better is what I mean; they tried to change Obamacare…don’t just get known as THE PARTY OF NO….don’t just let the Left play us as hate mongers and unprepared to deal with healthcare;
The Republicans had great ideas…….they got CLOSE to getting the message out but came short.

Let’s have them control the message FOR us, not let the left control the message CONSTANTLY against us!!!
