Clinton Caucus Irony……..and Father Scalia

SO….Today’s CAUCUS DAY in Nevada!    In line with her ideology, Hillary went to large casino/hotel owners and told them they ought to give their workers two hours off to go caucus!  And they should PAY those employees for two hours off….to go caucus for Hillary!    I couldn’t help but smile at the irony of it….

She’s all for ‘the people’ getting every thing free and screwing the owners, corporations, the ‘rich’ and that’s what many of her stump speeches are about, let’s face it.  SO, here it was in action.  “I need your help this morning in the showroom,” she told workers, who get two hours off work to caucus at sites in the casino. “Spread the word — paid time off!”

LET THEM OFF FOR TWO FREE HOURS TO VOTE FOR ME.   I’ll get them what THEY WANT if THEY VOTE FOR ME.    (yes, obviously, she can’t be sure they’ll caucus for her, but…what’s the implication?)
I’m watching all channels and they’re FINE WITH IT…just FIIIINE.   Amazing.

***On the more sane side, Justice Antonin Scalia’s Catholic funeral was beautiful and his son, Father Paul Scalia, did an amazing job.  Imagine conducting the service for your father you loved so much, and holding it together through a very special homily, a dad who told you once, when Antonin found himself accidentally lined up to confess to his SON, “No way was I going to confess to YOU,” at which time he left the line!

The irony is the Casinos caved in to H’s demand. WHY? They should of told her they’ll give them 4 hours off instead on Tuesday so they can vote for the GOP caucus!

Money talks, and BS walks.Hill has the bucks to back her, and the owners know that if she were to win, there would be favors owed them. That’s the way the Dems work.

And now it looks like Hillary won………..BIG SURPRISE, right? (actually, it’s kind of a relief…Her personality scares me more than Bernie’s but Bernie’s even worse Socialism is REALLY scary)

Mal…I LOVE THAT IDEA 🙂 Very funny!

Bob…You’re probably right; what an awful thought.
Sadly, I think it’s the way a lot of Reps work, too. 😦

I have told this before, but most Americans think it’s the Republicans who are the moneyed ones, the ‘fat cats’ of Wall Street, etc. I have a cousin who is a REALLY huge Wall St head hunter (Jamie Dimon type of placements…and by the way, there IS no business going on lately; NOBODY’s hiring, business is far worse than we are being told, according to her usually thriving business)…anyway, she tells me a huge majority of Wall St rich guys are ….trump blowing…. DEMOCRATS.
But do people believe it? NO, the left does a very good job lying.

  4. You realize of course, that Hillary has 501 delegates to 61 for Bernie.
    How can that be?
Superdelegates already in the bag for Hil.

They should have thrown her out!

Ed, I’d have thought HIllary has more super delegates, that’s for sure; all on her payroll. Regular delegates come from the percentage of voters each candidate got…I think it was waaay closer in NV than having this big a spread.
If 501 vs 61 are really the numbers, what did Hillary have to be nervous about? \

JMB: I wish. See Mal’s comment about it…cracked me up!

    So Jeb’s out.

I can’t imagine that many of his voters could go for Trump; do you?
And Carson should leave, too…probably Kasich, as well………do you think ANY Carson voter could bring himself to vote for Trump?

    Just curious…………..

and, in typical Republican fashion, a huge amount of voters who don’t think Trump can win the national election voted for him.
We just don’t have a clue.

“do you think ANY Carson voter could bring himself to vote for Trump?”
Yes I do. I suspect that [some] Carson supporters are that just because he is not part of the “Establishment” and therefore will gravitate to the other most non establishment contender, Trump. However, I don’t see that as [many]. If Trump continues to appear to be the frontrunner he will likely, at least, pick-up [some] support that, otherwise, would have gone to the other dropouts; it’s human nature. That said, however, probably not a lot. Finally, since Trump’s presence has completely astounded the, so called, pundits who am I to know what will actually happen?

That’s what its going to boil down to, Silverfiddle. The big debate by the two candidates selected. This will also answer the question if Trump can get the voters from all the dropouts. Hopefully, he is being well prepared by his advisors for the coming debate(s). He certainly has more than enough material to criticize Hillary. In fact, she has to be nervous about her past being thrown in her face with the whole world watching.

OK, but that assumes that she has, at least, a modicum of introspect or even a conscience!

JMB, I think most Carson voters have such quiet dignity and good character (to appreciate his) that I’d be very surprised if even a small part of them voted for Trump.

SF: Trump is so crude and ugly in almost all he says that I don’t even look forward to his demolishing Hillary…after all, he already waved his hands in the air, saying “What was she DOING in the bathroom at that debate…Oh, don’t TELL ME, don’t let me even think about it…it’s DISGUSTING”.

That’s a MAN? We will have more of THAT? He repulses me..
