A few questions from my burgeoning, ever-growing list:

    Is Hollywood emotionally constipated?

Does John F. Kerry have a soul?

    Is American industry managerially exhausted?

Has Josh Earnest developed GERD from swallowing his dignity too often?

Did David Axelrod play Chicken with Mephistopheles and lose?

When will Hillary Clinton finally “come out”?

What is the difference between truth?

Is Harry Reid any more relevant to anything than a cube of cue chalk?

Do schools even bother to mention the idea of ethics any more?

Why does our President cost MUCH more to maintain than Britain’s royal family?

What possible benefit does humanity derive from rap “music”?

Can’t Nancy Pelosi understand that the honorable thing for her is seppuku?

If we have more oil than Saudi Arabia, why is the Suez Canal in our national interest?

Are Mexican language and culture truly superior to ours?

Does anybody in Washington understand the relationship between perennial deficit spending and eventual bankruptcy?

    Why is Congress? Really!

Should we stay out of Syria or mind our own business?

How the hell have I gotten along for 75 years without a smart phone?

When is a red line a green light?

Why haven’t all of us who live near the coasts drowned from the seas rising due to anthropogenic climate change?

Who profits from the decline and fall of a vibrant, successful republic?

Would anybody even know BHO’s name if he weren’t “black”?

What are the top 10 benefits of Islam?

Are we witnessing the Soetoro Descent into Irrelevancy?

Did ADD and autism and PTSD exist in 1950?

What difference does it all make?

bocopro, I wish I had time right now to respond to some of your questions! Good ones!

I hope some of us do today…..

    Bunkerville; terrific, thanks.

EVERYBODY: Someone on FOX last night suggested that it’ll only be after Trump’s the candidate that he’ll go Centrist in order to attract the votes (and show his true leanings) in the national against Hillary……

That sounds SO like him……particularly after we’ve learned a little bit from that NY Times interview.

By the way; Another question for Bocopro’s list:

Why would ANYBODY with a BRAIN and GOOD INSTINCTS give any interview “Off the RECORD” particularly to the NY Slimes?

I’m using this thread to ask the people on Geez to pitch me their state. Wife and I are looking at eventually leaving the Socialist Republic of California and we want to live in a state that is more in line with our values. But the climate has to be decent. I can’t go from CA to freezing my butt or being in the constant rain or fog.

Based on the idea that the republican wins in Nov, what would people like to see get accomplished?
My list is: delete obamacare, get two constitutional conservative SC judges, delete most if not all of barrys executive orders, can the entire obama administration government officials and federal prosecutors and replace them with Americans. That’d be good for starters.

FB, Having lived in Arizona, I’m attracted to move back there when wife and I retire. (We’ll be considering low cost of living and conservative population %) Great state for sightseeing, drive 50 miles and be in completely different scenery. If interested, you could subscribe to Arizona Highways which presents photos and articles on Arizona’s endless attractions -https://arizona-highways-magazine.com-sub.biz/?&gclid=CMX3xrXNossCFQetaQodQ9cD0w

Or go here for free and poke around – https://www.arizonahighways.com/explore

Phoenix area get to 116 in July, lowest temps around December, usually 65 by 10 am. 300+ days of sunshine a year. Sedona area is more like 80 degrees in mid summer, sometimes get a little snow in winter.

Personally, we’ll be looking at Arizona, Texas, Maybe Utah..

@FB – Welcome. You can get any climate you want there. Arizona has had the national hot and cold spot on the same day.

@FB…of course I agree with Kid. Perhaps because the move for you wouldn’t be all that far. But AZ has a huge illegal problem with murderous gangs and general criminality. AZ even has signage well into the state warning of illegal activity and NO GO areas. A good friend of mine recently moved to Tucson and he said he fears for his life every day. And it was the worst move he ever made coming from a beautiful place in Oregon. Florida….northern FL especially up in the panhandle is gorgeous. Santa Rosa County especially. Close to the Gulf, Alabama and other states too. Conservative ( very ) and nice weather and not all too hot like it is in South Florida. Even the lower West coast of Florida like Sarasota or Naples is very conservative and upper middle to filthy rich!

FB, ever consider Vegas? There is more……..a LOT more…….than The Strip. Home prices are still very low when considering its size (2 million in Clark County). We don’t have a state income tax, and real estate taxes are low. You are approx. an hour away from a ski lift at Mt. Charleston or from water skiing and fishing at Lake Mead. Plenty of great places to eat, and in a healthy, dry and sunny clime for your bones!
If your into it, plenty of entertainment to satisfy ANYONE, believe me. We don’t go to shows and only frequent The Strip when guests are in town (or if we are performing, which isn’t that often}.
And if you are selling a home in California to relocate, the prices of homes here will really make you smile!

Thanks, Imp and Mal! I personally like Florida a lot. Madame doesn’t because of hurricanes. I loved Tallahassee when I went there because I saw the best starry sky in my life so far there. Pitch dark and clear. I’d like to visit Tampa too.

For Vegas, it’s too dry (Dry eye problem) but we liked it very much too. I would go see shows all the time and the restaurant scene is great.

I wouldn’t leave California for all the tea in China.
Earthquakes are horrible and we live with that threat, but hurricanes almost scare me more……
Be careful; Everyone I know in Arizona’s on edge due to immigration and the amount of terror cells reported there…not that there aren’t tons of terror cells everywhere.

Flagstaff, AZ is nice…a little snow in winter, lovely weather otherwise, from what I’ve heard.
Santa Fe is lovely but PRICEY as it gets. A friend lives there and loves it. It’s a bit too “new age crystals” for me.

ANd Mal’s right…you can get a house most anywhere with a rive on Five acres for about $150 in Waco, TX!!
Texas might be a good place….

I’m sorry your mood’s so low, FB…sad to see it.

FB, I spent the first 58 years of my life in So. Calif. and truthfully, regret selling our home in 1985 and move to Olympia, Washington for 16 years before finally moving here. It was in Newport Beach and we loved it there. Today, however, its a totally different place and too crowded for us. We simply sold it too soon, that’s all. I would still sell it now and move here, but I could get five times the figure I got at that time. Where do you live in Calif?

OH! And you are right about it being dry here in Vegas, but that’s what we like. Having the warm sun hitting your back really is nice when you’re older. You’ll see when you get old! Besides, Florida is too humid and you’re always wet. No thanks!

@Mal..”Besides, Florida is too humid and you’re always wet. No thanks!..

That’s south Florida and Central Mal. Believe me…above Orlando to the north….it’s a very different climate. No palm trees….the Gulf Stream that dictates temps and weather on the east coast is insignificant up there. It’s more on the latitude and as temperate as say…Atlanta. And of course, northern Florida in the panhandle was stolen from Georgia and Alabama anyway…..everyone knows that! 🙂

I’ve been to California many, many, many times. I do love the scenery and the weather. It is a spectacular looking place.

We live in L.A. SoCal is nice but too crowded, not quiet enough and honestly I feel like I’m in France surrounded by socialists. The entitlement culture here is crazy. And we’re not in Newport Beach bc we can’t afford those areas. (I don’t like being in debt.) We think TX would be nice for us.

Don’t come to Colorado! While we have some of the best climate; contrary to popular belief, that you could imagine, the Liberals from all, elsewhere , have made it a nightmare ! I’m not suggesting New Mexico but that’s a place that seems not to get recognized, however, high potential; just saying.

Imp is probably right about TX weather because he’s a pilot so he really knows that stuff but one doesn’t think TEXAS TORNADOS so much as one does more Southern states, etc..

FB, I couldn’t afford Newport Beach today, either. When we moved there in 1971, we bought a 4 br. 3 bath home on a big corner lot for $38,500! That’s what it was at that time.
Imp, when I was stationed at Ft. Benning, Ga. for 6 months in 1951, in summer it was 90 degrees w/100% humidity! The only 2 places in Fla. I’ve been are Panama City and Ft. Lauderdale (cruise port) so my experience there is very limited. No one mentioned the sink holes there. I would prefer an earthquake over one of those!
