Joe Biden…..His “Oversees slamming of Americans” Tour?

BIDEN IS DESPICABLE: HERE is what he said to young Emiratis in Dubai yesterday.  Here is a highlight (or lowlight):

“If Ronald Reagan were alive today, he could no more get the nomination of the Republican Party than I can get the nomination,” Biden said, referring to the U.S. Republican president from the 1980s often praised by GOP candidates. “I’m not joking. So what you see is this movement to the extreme in the Republican Party.”

Yup….the Democrats are running an avowed Socialist but WE are EXTREME.

Among the other awful things he said (see article linked above), he added that “The problem with American politics today is that it has become so petty, so mean,” he said. “The American public are not going to let it stand.”

Imagine an American Vice President going to the Emirates to slam a political party and a country, his country?

Thoughts?

  1. Biden must be a Zinn-ite, then.

Truth be told, our universities are cranking out Zinn-ite graduates by the millions now. Not merely by the thousands.

  2. bunkerville says:

The hate America meme. This is why Trump is making the headway that he is making. Many are sick of it.

  3. Mustang says:

I’m not sure I understand what motivates Democrats to involve foreigners in our domestic politics. It is not a very good example of leadership; it only diminishes the United States (and Biden) in the eyes of these foreign interests. I think it is true that DNC wonks hate America, but it is equally true that Americans (real Americans) hate the DNC wonks with equal vigor.

@ Z … in the mind of a Democrat, socialism, communism, or progressivism is not extreme. Only those values that wish to preserve America’s founding documents are extreme. They live in an alternative universe.

  4. bocopro says:

Somewhere along the course of supplanting Dan Quayle as Veep Foxpaws Extraordinaire, Gaffemeister Biden morphed from America’s Crazy Uncle Joe to Creepy Uncle.

Makes me wonder if perhaps he was self-abused as a child. He just seems determined to get it wrong given the slightest opportunity. Like Murphy’s Law: if under any set of circumstances he can misinterpret or misconvey or misconstrue, he always will.

Any chance he was a brain donor? It’s either than or he got hold of some bad ‘shrooms back in the day and they’re repeating on him.

  5. Silverfiddle says:

Barack Obama has dedicated himself to making our politics and our discourse more “petty and mean” over the course of his presidency. Has there been any other president who’s talked so much smack and so enjoyed needling his political ‘enemies?’

  6. John M. Berger says:

Just exactly was this kook’s objective? It’s, indeed, scary that [he] attained any office above Dog Catcher!

  7. FB says:

The establishment of both parties cater to money. The Emirates have plenty. They don’t necessarily like the US so to cater to them you tell them what they want to hear. Even Hillary caters to a nation that practices slavery like Qatar.

The people know it and the “revolution” is on its way.

Look at those GOP morons who secretly met with some other elitist jerks to stop Trump. They’re like the aristocrats and at some point, they’ll deserve to get their ass kicked very strongly.

  8. FB says:

I’m starting to think that when the elite criticizes the country they are in fact criticizing the masses whom they despise. Like kings.

  9. Mal says:

All the comments above explain how and why Trump extremism has flourished. Prior to now, he would never have been accepted the way he is today.
“Extreme actions by a reigning political party requires extreme reactions to counter it.”
(That’s an old saying I just made up!)

  10. John M. Berger says:

    @Mal,
    Your “old saying” rings true!

  11. geeez2014 says:

ALL really great comments…you guys RARELY let me down (okay, almost never!!)

MAL: “Extreme actions by a reigning political party requires extreme reactions to counter it.” YES YES YES!. I have told libs who ask me how conservatives can stand Trump “Hey, don’t blame US, it takes a pretty darned rotten unconstitutional, undignified and unpresidential president to make us look at someone like Trump!”
Extreme actions of Obama is what is driving MANY good people to Trump. (gad)

FB…American presidents before Clinton NEVER spoke badly about our country, let alone outside our country. Clinton spoke in Paris one day and I was watching live….I have told the story here on my blog, that I literally got teary-eyed hearing him insult Bush so badly. Tony Blair was seated behind him on the stage as Clinton spoke and Blair looked positively ashen, and I know he was thinking “What kind of man would say that about a sitting successor?” I was so hurt by CLinton that day as an AMerican knowing America wouldn’t hear about this, but I DID. I combed the internet for a story on that and it never appeared.

SF…I couldn’t agree with you more….since the BEER SUMMIT, remember Obama reacting so quickly to the Harvard Prof’s arrest, and being so incorrect about it but so eager to condemn anybody NOT BLACK? That’s what that boiled down to, let’s face it.

Even some of us who couldn’t stand Obama’s platform hoped he could improve whatever race problems we still had, but BROTHER, did he BLOW THINGS UP….one might say “From Beer Summit to Ferguson”, mightn’t one.

Mustang: “it is equally true that Americans (real Americans) hate the DNC wonks with equal vigor” But we don’t go out of country to show hate to our own country, do we..

JMB, BOCOPRO, AOW, Bunk; WHAT MORE CAN I SAY TO YOUR EXCELLENT COMMENTS? AGREED!!!

Talk about Libs: Did some of you see the Judith Miller article condemning anybody saying Bush lied us into Iraq? Yes, you heard me; liberal JUDITH MILLER…EXCELLENT PIECE over at Prager University. Excellent.

  12. FB says:

Z, I think it’s because the concept of a statesman is gone now. I personally think it’s related to the explosion of global finance and politicians just obey financiers, bankers, and big businesses not citizens.

  13. Mal says:

Glad you agree with me, John and Z. Er……….does that mean you are now a Trump person, Z? I mean, we can’t get more extreme than Obummer, can we? Welcome to the fold!

  14. geeez2014 says:

FB: Yes, the concept of statesman is gone now but I think it’s more a reflection of our society, although I agree with your point, too.
I do think there are men who could be statesmen today and that Ben Carson is one of them, don’t you? Calm, dignified….all for America.

I think some of us could think of others who could be statesmen, TRUE statesmen…
Let’s see if we CAN make a list! I HOPE SO 🙂

The language of inferring hands mean the size of ‘private parts'(ya, I could write the WORD but,…!!) , or calling people LIARS (that was shocking the first time I heard it said this election season…I’m not sure I’ve heard it…Cruz started it ON the senate floor, but he was right, after all…), or “little Marco” or “he sweats” or all the other HORRID stuff is not even sneezed at when Trump says it. This is our society…I understand he also said PRICK? WHAT THE HECK??

Let’s see if any of us can contribute to a :

LIST OF STATESMEN IN AMERICA TODAY.
(might be the loneliest post of the day! :()

  15. Mal says:

“Calm and dignified” doesn’t cut it today, Z………………..unfortunately. Look what it got the good doctor.

  16. geeez2014 says:

Mal, that’s exactly right…and you make the point I tried to make ….our society can’t take calm and dignified. It’s not us anymore.

  17. FB says:

We get what we deserve. I’m personally very divided on Trump. I truly despise the elitist and bureaucratic class so I’d like to see them get their butts handed to them.

  18. John M. Berger says:

“LIST OF STATESMEN IN AMERICA TODAY.”

I don’t know. There must be some but if so they must be reluctant to come forth as that would seem futile in today’s political climate. Anyway, I’m sick and tired of the garden variety of hollow, political sing-song so prevalent in [most] of the current and recent contenders!

  19. geeez2014 says:

JMB, I think it’s emblematic that we ‘celebrate’ people like “Kaitlyn” Jenner and unwed mothers and profanity and anything GODLY needs to be dispensed with, don’t you?

I’m not sure a really good man would be futile…I loved Ben Sasse’s speech at CPAC which I posted the other day and would so love to hear that said iN PUBLIC, in our public schools….a good guy who is articulate, passionate, has a nice wife and kids, church-going…etc.
He’s no ‘hero’ of mine, I just heard of him the other day!, but I know there are men like that still out there….I know I have several HERE, including YOU!, and that maybe Americans, even teens, are eager for some REAL GOODNESS and SMARTS?

I once got some kids talking about sex in a high school class about 3 months ago, telling them how different it was when I was in school, that not everybody was experimenting, that boys still had some respect for girls and knew their parents would kill them if they tried anything!! I asked the kids if they’d rather go back to those days instead of the situation today and every single one of them raised their hand “YES!” I’ve had several encounters like that with high schoolers….I think they’re aching for goodness, safety..not being pressured into age inappropriate behavior by what they see on TV, film, internet porn, etc.
I think STATESMEN who spoke about that COULD help….who spoke against what’s happening today. I can only hope.

FB I’m very divided, too. He tried hard to sound less ugly last night and almost did, until he told some news guy whose question he didn’t like “nobody reads you, but go ahead and ask again”. What kind of heart IS THAT? I shudder.

  20. John M. Berger says:

“I’m not sure a really good man would be futile”
Oh, I’m not either! I was just trying to place emphasis on what seems to sell and what doesn’t in contemporary American politics. Perhaps someone will come along and surprise us; most of us. However, we are sure not there now.

  21. Mal says:

Z, its not surprising “every single one of them raised their hands YES” (kids today wanting to going back to the old days re sex). They aren’t born with polluted minds about sex. It is drilled into them over time.via the entire media. The message implies you’re not normal if you don’t want to. Peer pressure is extremely effective, esp. in teenagers.

  22. geeez2014 says:

    JMB….praying for a SURPRISE, right!!?

Mal..exactly my point….and even the boys raised their hands, even especially the boys…very surprising. And gave me hope.

  23. bocopro says:

Of my 9 grandkritters, I’m beginning to suspect that more than half of them are completely uninterested in sex. Our oldest (25) hasn’t had a relationship of any kind since high school, and then it was only innocent friendships in band. He still lives with his mother and younger brothers.

The next one (in age) lived with a girl for about 14 months, then more or less went celibate or something as if he was disappointed by it all.

The next one seems more interested in writing code for computers than anything (he’s 20), and his younger brother is apparently androgynous.

Two more, now in middle and high school, have expressed no interest whatever in girls (8 are boys).

Our only girl is definitely interested in boys, but a bit timid around them (self-image problem).

The rest are interested primarily in sports and fishing.

I am not permitted to bring up the subject with them. Anyway, Milady and I are gettin too old to be takin care of greats. In fact, most of the time kids annoy me.

  24. geeez2014 says:

bocopro; I have nieces and nephews who seem not to date and they’re all extremely good looking and smart and have good, busy lives…..these range in age from 24 to 31….maybe some kids just aren’t interested in the cheap relationships so many young people seem to get involved in these days.
One niece was 28 when she attended a Super Bowl game “because she promised her girlfriend and her husband” she’d come….this niece is a gorgeous blonde..willowy, smart (Ph.d), and across town there was a 32 yr old guy telling his mother “I’m done looking for women, I just don’t meet girls i like”….and he went because he’d promised the husband of this couple. The two met, they were inseparable and married in October.
May all that good stuff happen to all our young people!

  25. FB says:

If you watch Girls on HBO, you get a sense for that generation. That would explain your comments. Plus they’re glued to their devices like zombies.

  26. geeez2014 says:

FB…the stuff I see on ‘trailers’ for TV shows is UNBELIEVABLE…..husbands farting and women saying “Honey, did you FART?” And making faces and walking away…ON TV sitcoms?
Girls talking about “Did you DO him last night?”..using “Bitch” often…
Showing 8 yr olds in a sitcom classrm plastic anatomical parts with penises and vaginas and the kids looking astounded and a little boy calling it a ‘cock’….
Oh, ya…that’s what I heard within five minutes the other night clicking thru channels.

And we WONDER why we’re a MESS???

  27. FB,
I heartily agree with your comments @ 8:37 AM and 9:06 AM.

Both parties are globalist parties — a matter about which I posted at my site yesterday.

Having sat down face-to-face with one of Rove’s best buddies back in October, I know for a fact how the GOP’s management disdain the people whose vote they are courting.

I’m beyond disgusted with what’s going on! And, truth be told, has been going on since at least 1988 (the election of George H.W. Bush).

  28. Z,
American presidents before Clinton NEVER spoke badly about our country, let alone outside our country.

    What about Jimmy Peanut?

  29. Z,
Neuorscience shows that the attachment to devices stimulates the pleasure center of the brain. To the point of overriding normal libido? In many cases, yes.

The neuroscience is scary, I tell you!

  30. Z,
No wonder I don’t watch TV anymore.
