  1. Kid says:

All of that and much much more.

  2. Sparky says:

Chuck Woolery for President! Now I see why the libtard’s in Hollyweird won’t hire him anymore.

  3. John M. Berger says:

Well, what are we waiting for?

  4. FB says:

In the same vein, I listened to the guy who is challenging PAul Ryan and I hope he kicks him out of congress.

  5. A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon were talking about real money.
    Apologies to Everett Dirksen.

  6. Paul Ryan is a fiscal conservative whose focus has been on cutting the budget.
He is the one guy who has gotten Congresses focus on this.
And now he’s in a position to do something about it.
    Give him a conservative president.
    Not Trump or Kasich.

  7. Lana Hessenius says:

These all sound good. I also think we should eliminate all federal aid to countries who hate us; let them hate us for free. Welfare benefits etc.

  8. geeez2014 says:

Ed, I agree; Paul Ryan is doing what he can do and I need to find that article I believe we both shared on why Ryan had to do what he did with Omnibus; do you remember that? It made so much sense. He’s stuck between a rock and a hard spot and people do think that just because we have Congress, we should be able to push everything through.

  9. geeez2014 says:

Welcome, Lana! Yes, I love the cleverness of that line “let them hate us for free”. Indeed.

  10. FB says:

I disagree. He didn’t put up a fight on the budget. He’s just another Boehner without the tears.

  11. geeez2014 says:

FB… he did what he could. He has a lot more information and knows a lot more of what’s going on behind the scenes than we ever will. Looks bad, I admit.
    I love the guy.

  12. geeez2014 says:

    call it woman’s intuition.

  13. FB says:

I have stopped loving politicians a long time ago 🙂 They just organize legal plunder.

  14. geeez2014 says:

Now Trump’s actually saying that isn’t “FAIR” (poor baby!) to have Kasich still running…that he’ll get his votes if Kasich gives up.
Ya, reasoned, informed rather centrist Kasich supporters will suddenly flock in droves to the egomaniacal, blustering, nasty, dope of the Donald? Naaa

  15. geeez2014 says:

I can’t tell you all how many Republicans I know who are telling me they just can’t vote this year…they might vote for Cruz but they’d rather not and there is NO WAY they’re voting for Trump.
Even when I remind them of the Supreme Court, I have to admit I add , in all honesty, that I doubt we can really depend on Trump to be even as remotely Conservative as he’s been most of his life if he wins the nomination..

  16. FB says:

All of that and I think I’m going to vote libertarian. GOP or HIllary = pretty much the same looking back at the last 12 years of compassionate conservatism, neoconism or Obamism.

  17. FB says:

Even the Supreme Court is not guaranteed. Look at Obamacare and Roberts. I have more trust in a Libertarian to nominate a constitution-friendly judge than a Republican to be honest.

  18. Baysider says:

Trump’s “waste and corruption” won’t save anything. Woollery is on the right track: cut WHOLE ENTITIES. It isn’t enough to pare back 10%. Whole departments – Education, Energy, etc. – need to go.

  19. FB says:

I agree Baysider. If you want to make a serious difference and fix the problem, major cuts need to be made to tell the system they’re not running the show but citizens are. Otherwise it’s a self sustaining beast that’s sucking away the blood of citizens. Hence my remark on legal plunder.

  20. Mal says:

I agree with you too, Baysider and FB. Woolery has just scratched the surface of what can be cut. I originally had high hope and expectations for Trump. That was “originally.” Now, not so much. He simply imploded when he kept bad-mouthing everybody, which to me is a sign of insecurity and is the last thing we need right now.

  21. Imp says:

A lot of people have brought up the fact that they won’t vote for Trump if he’s the eventual nominee.
I just want to put something into perspective:

Justice Scalia’s seat is vacant. Ginsberg is 82 years old, Kennedy is 79, Breyer is 77, and Thomas is 67. Nowadays, the data shows that the average age of a Supreme Court retirement or death occurs after 75.

These are 5 vacancies that will likely come up over the next 4-8 years. The next President will have the power to potentially create a 7-2 Supreme Court skewed in their ideology.

Think about that . . . 7-2. If the next President appoints 5 young justices, it will guarantee control of the Supreme Court for an entire generation. And 7-2 decisions will hold up much more over time than 5-4 decisions which are deemed to be lacking in mandate.

Hillary has made it clear she will use the Supreme Court to go after the 2nd Amendment. She has literally said that the Supreme Court was wrong in its Heller decision and that the Court should overturn and remove the individual right to keep and bear arms. Period.

Everyone declaring that they won’t vote for a particular candidate, if he turns out to be the GOP nominee, please realize this: If Hillary Clinton wins, and thus gets to make these appointments, you surely will never see another Conservative victory at the Supreme Court for the rest of your life. Ever.

  22. Imp says:

“A unanimous Supreme Court ruled Monday that illegal immigrants and other non-citizens can be counted when states draw their legislative districts, shooting down a challenge by Texas residents who said their own voting power was being diluted.”

Now..get Hillary in and there’ll be amnesty and then…30 million more dem voters. By Bye USA.

  23. geeez2014 says:

Imp; I said that…THINK SUPREME COURT….but I also added in the comment above, that nobody can really believe Trump will stay as conservative as he says he is now after, or if, he does get the nomination.

A friend I just had bkfst with thinks that Trump will get the nomination and the GOP will put Cruz up as their kind of ‘third party’ candidacy…that was a weird, backward way of looking at it 🙂

  24. Kid says:

Z, that makes no sense, The GOP hates Cruz. Plus it would guarantee a dem win.

  25. Trump appears to be doing everything he can to torpedo his selection and save face.
I commented that here last week and Chris Wallace accused Trump of it to his face yesterday.
    That leaves Cruz.
If you can’t vote Cruz vs a Democrat, I question your sincerity as a conservative.

Z: I believe you were referring to the audio cut at my post.
    The audio is:
    [audio src="" /]

  26. It seems I can’t post those audio links in comments on WordPress. But some cutting and pasting of the link in to a browser should work. Or go to the blog link.

  27. FB says:

You better start cutting. In France, my mom just told me, the justice system is running out of money. France is on its way to become the next Greece. The US is lucky to have the dollar as the global currency but it won’t last long. It didn’t last for the British pound.

  28. Kid: RCP polls show Trump losing to Clinton by 10 and Cruz almost even with her.
    The GOP hates Trump too.
And his popularity is waning with indies.

  29. Kid says:

Ed, the adolescent personal attacks have really turned me off from the viewpoint I now believe maybe 1 in 10 women would vote for Trump. We need someone who has a chance of winning this time. I’ll vote against the dem as I always have done regardless

  30. geeez2014 says:

    Ed, I agree…

As I said the other day, Cruz rather redeemed himself on CNN’s Townhall last week…..great answers, in my opinion.
Then Ed shared the Jimmy Kimmel Cruz interview and he almost became human!

I’ll vote for anybody but the leftwinger………we just have to make sure we can talk other conservatives into that; REMIND THEM OF THE SCOTUS…Could be FOUR in the next couple of years! Or at least 2.

  31. John M. Berger says:

I agree that eliminating needless, even negative programs and departments is paramount in fixing our deficit/debt disaster. However, I’m unsure as to what extent any of the Republican contenders would [actually] go to or how successful they could be in effectuating such much needed change(s). I am quite sure, though, that neither of the DemocRAT contenders have any intention of cutting any government* no matter how wasteful, useless, restrictive or counter productive it may be. But, if you like them, be sure to stay home and help ensure a win for the Communist or Criminal-in-Chief who will, undoubtedly, exacerbate our road to fiscal hell!

*Excluding, of course, the only real Constitutional mandate, our Military; which they (DemocRATs) have relegated to a mockery of its intended purpose.

  32. FB says:

The current GOP wouldn’t do much. The entire Washington DC area is living on plundering the citizens. I went back to DC a few years ago while stores in L.A were closing left and right and DC was partying. It was shocking to me. It’s the Court of Versailles. Parties don’t really matter when they have to make a living by stealing our income. Gov workers, gov contractors, political consultants, etc….

  33. FB says:

I heard a number yesterday about welfare and I don’t know if it’s 100% accurate but for 100 dollars given in taxes for welfare, only 30-40 gets to the people. The rest is for the bureaucrats and the machine.

  34. FB: Your last two comments are absurd. And true.

  35. FB says:

Yes and it irritates me. Imagine those 60% going to savings for investments or consumption. But then you have idiots and other dishonest jerks like Pelosi saying foods stamps are good for the economy b/c people buy stuff.

  36. geeez2014 says:

JMB, there is NO WAY leftwingers, especially most of the young ones, will vote for big CUTS…they don’t look at that as sanity and fiscal soundness, they look at it as CRUEL and MEAN and “Damn those Republicans who don’t CARE!”

Until ONE REPUBLICAN can articulate the disaster ahead due to huge spending, and can delineate how we cut the budget AND help people, nobody’s voting for anybody but the BIG GAPING-HEADED Leftwingers.

  37. Imp says:

“Until ONE REPUBLICAN can articulate the disaster ahead…”

    Remember…we’re reactive…never proactive.

  38. Kid says:

99% of government is nothing more than a feeding frenzy of money stealing and waste. There is Zero motivation for economical performance. Local, State, Feds. Especially the Feds. Their focus is on themself, not us. This is why elections are 24/7 blowhard events. They must be seen as soooo important. (You must elect me if you want to live you stupid peasant..)

I personally believe Federal, State and most local governments are not even capable of solving any problems. If a good person gets elected, they get there, look around, throw up their hands and join the party.

  39. Imp says:

Every Single One: Since 2009, Obama’s DOJ Civil Rights Division Hired ONLY Leftist Lawyers (Hundreds!)..
“The tentacles of the Division reach into virtually every crevice of American life. Federal statutes, under the banner of protecting civil rights, reach home lending, football stadium and theater seating, voting, elections, education, college admissions, apartment rentals, prisons, hiring practices, the use of English, special education programs, religious liberty, abortion clinic protests, arrests, law enforcement, voter rolls, insane asylums, state and local government hiring, swimming pool lift chairs, bathtub design, Spanish language ballots, school discipline, and even if boys can dress in drag in high school.”

Only a conservative POTUS can fire all of them.

  40. Kid says:

I would definitely fire them all IMP. Excpet for one guy at the Pentagon that I know is a good guy. The rest of them are gone gone gone.

  41. geeez2014 says:

Kid, there’s still one guy at the Pentagon who’s good but hasn’t been FIRED for disagreeing with Obama or telling him information he doesn’t like? WHO IS IT?! 🙂

Imp ” we are SO reactive…” what a waste, huh?

  42. Kid says:

Obviously Z, I cannot reveal, but I’m not kidding. Very standup guy.

  43. Kid says:

PS, after I fired them all, I’d have the IRS go after them because while Fed employees file taxes, they don’t pay. Last I read 3 billion. They’d pay or be in prison. Then when they’re taken care of, I dissolve the IRS.

  44. geeez2014 says:

Kid, I’m sorry! I thought you meant by “one guy who I know”, someone who you’d read about and admired.
Why the HECK are these people not in BIG TROUBLE like we’d all be if WE didn’t pay taxes???

  45. Kid says:

Z, Because they are Feds and above the law.

  46. Kid says:

    Nothing to be sorry about.

  47. Imp says:

@KId…do you know that Obummer has had 4 Sec’s of Defense since he’s been in office? All fired or resigned…and everyone saying he didn’t follow their advice….thus responsible for the failures of Egypt, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and….Russia? All the while her ugliness supreme killary…has had a hand in every fiasco…so (WTF ) can any rational person even consider a vote for her?

  48. geeez2014 says:

Imp, yes he has and all now ARE talking about their treatment by him, not being listened to, even being ignored. I’m so glad people are speaking up; too bad the mainstream media’s not talking much about it..God forbid leftwingers learned the truth about their people, huh?

And yes, Hillary’s been there every time..VOTE FOR HILLARY !! what a joke.

  49. John M. Berger says:

“leftwingers, especially most of the young ones”
Too bad that the “young ones” will suffer more than their LIBERAL jerk-offs (DemocRATS ) who will have created such a curse!

  50. Kid says:

@IMP, Even without that in consideration how could anyone vote for her. Zero positive accomplishments. The Dems do not care about any of that though, they prove it every election. They’d vote for Satan to keep the IV drip going.

  51. Mal says:

Bottom line, we MUST vote for whoever gets the nod from the GOP! PERIOD. There simply is too much at stake for any alternative.
