I keep hearing how FOX IS FAVORING TRUMP and I watch FOX.
I know I’m taking a chance in having written this but this is absolutely how I see it!
I’d love examples of FOX FAVORING TRUMP if you’d be willing to comment on it…..they seem to me to be so dispirited by Trump. O’Reilly is a personal friend so he knows Trump better than we do and he’s clearly realistic enough to know Trump will probably be the pick. Anybody here seen Megyn Kelly show favoritism toward Trump? 🙂 If anything, considering the misery between them, she’s been amazingly even handed. I wouldn’t have been. The show OUTNUMBERED is said to favor Trump; Mark Levin showed a little stupidity Monday on the radio because I’d actually seen the bit he profiled and he was wrong…because he cut off the part slamming Trump right after one of the women sounded pro-Trump, she finished with a big insult but he didn’t play it, only said that ‘FOX IS IN THE TANK FOR TRUMP’
If anybody thinks Brett Baier or George Will or any of the news readers, etc etc. are, let me know. Karl Rove for TRUMP? NO! He’s on constantly. Giuliani is on fairly often and seems to be pro Trump, but don’t all stations include people who like or dislike all candidates? That’s my experience.
Is FOX supposed to be OVERTLY ANTI TRUMP to show Conservatives they really are as Conservative as they were? Ridiculous concept to think that. They are there to give us information. Ted Cruz, now an ex-candidate, called FOX the TRUMP NETWORK. REALLY? BAIER? WALLACE? JUAN WILLIAMS? GRETCHEN CARLSON? etc etc etc…….. Hannity? Yes. I think he’s every bit as polite and welcoming to the other candidates and that same civility toward Trump shouldn’t necessary mean he’s Pro Trump, but Hannity’s fans are kind of like Trump fans, and if Hannity’s about anything it’s about protecting Hannity.
IF you’re still reading, please let me know what YOU think of this FOX IS FOR TRUMP stuff….I watch it quite a bit and have almost NEVER seen that. BELIEVE me, as much as I can’t STAND Trump, I’d be ultra sensitive to any station favoring him…

Newsis in the tank for Trump. Last time I watched, he was getting about a $Billion in free airtime kid-glove interviews on their morning, noon and night shows. UGH! Can you name two Fox personality who outwardly supported Cruz? Can you name one? It’s not so much them being FOR Trum (mister mister mister) but that they are an establishment Republican Party channel, and the establishment no longer represents my values.But don’t take my word for it. I now read where CNN annihilated Faux in April, and has now beaten Fox in prime time ratings for five out of the last 8 months.

My observations (a bit organized because I’m in a hurry)…
Judge Jeanine is clearly pro-Trump.
Sean Hannity, maybe.
And as mentioned, O’Reilly is a personal friend of Trump’s. O’Reilly leans Trump.
A few of the women are pro-Trump or lean Trump, but I don’t know their names. Andrea Tantaros (pro-Trump) is one whose name I know, but she’s been suspended from the network; rumor has it that she lost her job because she’s anti-globalism.
Megyn Kelly has been more anti-Trump than pro-Trump, IMO. But I must confess that I don’t watch her show very much. I’m usually asleep by 8:30, and her show begins at 9:00.
George Will is clearly anti-Trump. Krauthammer leans that way, but isn’t as hard core as George Will.

I think NY media like Trump. I watch Morning Joe sometimes and they seem to like him personally as well. Even the liberal people. They’re part of the same network the same way DC journalists are part of the beltway elite.

I think Fox News exhausted all of its power trying to defeat Donald Trump. They wanted a GOP establishment candidate to continue the globalist agenda. Thank God they lost that battle & Trump has prevailed. I expect him to win in a landslide & be a great President.

Well, the guy IS flamboyant and controversial, hence a source of news. Yes, he’s had tons of free coverage on Fox, but the same is true on CNN and HLN . . . ’cause he’s noisy and newsworthy.
Bush was boring, Paul was mildly psychotic, Cruz is sleazy, and Kasich is just plain soporific. Of COURSE Fox is gonna go with the one-man-band rather than the tuba player or the oboe or the glockenspieler.
Baier is about as even-handed a moderator as you’ll find anywhere, and Krauthammer considers the Trumpomenon more of an aberration than a bona fide candidacy, a gastric sore spot which might develop into a bleeding ulcer.
FoxandFriends is not a news show, BTW; it’s not even good infotainment most of the time. Haven’t watched it except by accident for close to a year, but apparently Trump shows up there on the fone a couple times a week to pontificate and blather.
Don’t watch Shep Smith or Judge Whateverhernameis, so can’t comment on that. Don’t watch Kelly, either. And I just read O’Reilly rather than catching his show live. And who is Tantaros? Is she that little Greek spitfire who came out in favor of waterboarding and said we should get rid of several federal departments, beginning with Dept of Ed.? If so, she’s my kinda gal. Didn’t know she was actively pro-Trump.

I read the whole post Z but don’t watch the click bait. I don’t see where any of them are delivering “news”. My impression of FOX though is that they are totally dysfunctional and possibly even subversive.

I used to watch Fox News nightly but my perception was that O’Reilly and Hannity were acting as campaign volunteers for Trump. Reviera was contempful of Cruz. Rove was always pro Rove and used Fox to demonstrate his loyalty to the Party. Williams disliked Trump but was terrified at the thought of Cruz as the nominee. It seemed to me that there was at least 33% of program time devoted to Trump advocacy so I started watching Fox Business where I then found Lou Dobbs trying to outdo O’Reilly in campaign support for Trump.
I no longer watch Fox and think they were successful in a deliberate effort in support of Trump. They are good at their job.
I miss Aljezera so I watch CNN.

maybe I’m in that demographic because I watch CNN half the time now…and I NEVER DID THAT BEFORE. EVER.
Heck, I’m starting to like Van Jones! Always found him handsome, and have always teased about that here, and I almost NEVER EVER agree with him, but he’s smart and gives me insight into the rightwing mind.
Anderson Cooper has been SO respectful to the Rep candidates it stuns me, by the way.
CNN has done a lot in showing more Cons. contributors; sadly, theirs are usually not that bright as the FOX women, for example (by a LONG SHOT) but they’re there, at least.
Fairest Witness…I am not a Trump fan, but I absolutely agree with you on your take of FOX and their coverage. They absolutely did try to defeat him….NONE of their people talk like big Trump fans….except SOMETIMES Tantaros does. She just likes a tough guy….even Kimberly G sometimes sounds like she’s a fan because she hates wimps.

I thought other channels would ‘out fox them’ and get better than they are but I never thought Fox itself would/could torpedo ITSELF …
I really think it’s not so much the choices FOX makes, because most of their panels are EXCELLENT (led by Baier and others) BUT it’s more angry Conservatives who don’t feel they’re echoing their exact feelings…
ALSO….I stopped watching as much FOX because I can’t take Shep Smith, Hannity or Judge Jeanine….(God, that VOICE!)….and one thing CNN does NOT do is the “cat in the tree” stories…who CARES if there’s a high speed car chase in L.A.? I’ve blogged this point before;

I believe Fox has tried to be fairly balanced, at least for a media associated with the Right. We watch it almost continually and have, however, noticed a lot of cutting off of guests from the Left, esp. by Bill “O”. This a.m. my wife and I tried to figure out exactly what it was about Cruz’s demeanor that turned everyone off and decided it was his holier than thou persona. He came off extremely aloof. Capable, but unlikable. That also is a big reason he isn’t liked in Congress’
NOW…………I’m going to make a statement that’s sure to trigger response. Trump has the ability to become one of our greatest Presidents, right up there with Reagan. If my thinking is on target, its all been an act to garner the attention and free coverage from the media and will explain the statements by those close to him saying there are two Donald Trumps. Only time will tell.

Having said that, I am REALLY saddened at all the Reps threatening not to vote…I TOTALLY understand it, my own ethics prevent me from liking someone as crass as Trump (and in public, I didn’t know that existed), but for my country I’ll vote for ANYBODY BUT HILLARY. Or JOE, for that matter. Even O’Reilly said this morning that Trump doesn’t listen to people’s advice…that really worries me.

I have noticed that I’ve lost regular commenters due to my not being madly in love with Trump, even when I have said I’d vote for him anyway, over and over again.
Interesting….I don’t care, but it is a sign in some that I don’t like to see.

I find it pretty disappointing that yes, a lot of non-democrat voters will stay home because they don’t get the perfect candidate. This is a problem the democrats never have as proven by 8 years of obama and now their #1 pick is an unconvicted mobster with a life of crime and enough pathological lying and incompetence to fuel a rocket to Mars.
If these people won’t go vote against the beast, this is the last piece of evidence to see that this country is dead. We will never get the perfect candidate.

Tantaros: She’s was one of my favorite because 1) She is georgeous, and 2) She is smart. I don’t know why she got disappeared, but it probably had something to do with her outspoken nature.
Fox News has been supportive of Trump for years. Gretta seemed to have him on at least once a month for a long time. In a conversation with the Fox News panel last night, it was mentioned that Trump NEVER turned down an interview. He was on Fox all the time, as well as CNN and other news outlets.
At this point, I think Trump has to re-visit his promise of self-funding his campaign. As long as the cost of a Presidential campaign was only $1 Billion, he could handle that. Now, there are projections that it will cost several $Billion. Being a billionaire just ain’t what it used to be.

I’m not sure I understand the question Z, but for my part, (and realize I’ve always been a contrarian, meaning I hate to go with the crowd on anything) – I just don’t accept the media as something that would benefit me by my watching it. I see it all as purely an entity that exists and is programmed to bring in ad revenue. Period. There are Big events happening around the world and no one talks about them. I want to see on ‘the news’ things like that teenage girl in Germany who put out the youtube video detailing in excrutiating detail what it is like to try to live in Germany with hordes of moslem invaders that are literally taking over the country and culture and merkel is helping them do it to the utmost that she can. She (and many other EU countries leaders) have turned their countries into shit holes and are in a manner of thinking committing genocide by moslem on their own people/citizens/taxpayers/contributors. It’s unreal isn’t it?
When they start talking about That kind of stuff, then I’ll entertain the idea that they are delivering “News”.

I’m the last person to tell people what to do, but it’s not about hilrod. It’s about the supreme court, a dem gets in and you’ll end up with a 6-3 libtard court who will shred the constitution starting with the 2nd A.. There is no recovery from that. It’s not like trying to get obamacare cancelled.
