The other FOX!

crying foxWAIT!   So that lout Trump is already getting world leaders to apologize and suck up to him in fear he could be serious about his promises?  Could it be that the leaders who thought they had a good thing going with lax Obama and his suck-up policies are finally on their toes with us again?

THIS CRACKED ME UP!!  Maybe we DO have something going here with Trump…….(God help us)!

Think so?

Not surprising when a presidential candidate who supports the execution of woman and children of those who oppose him is only one step away from the WH. Now show me Putin pandering to him and I may have to rethink this. Not gonna happen though because trump is Putin’s cabin boy.

  2. The one issue which seems to separate Trump from both Hillary and Bernie — and from the likes of Jeb Bush (Paraphrase: “Illegal immigration is an act of love”) — is that of illegal immigration.

    Dated May 4, 2016:

Illegal immigrant numbers skyrocket at Mexican border.

Get ready. It’s going to be bumpy ride all the way to Election Day 2016.

Jerry, what? Trump wants women and children executed? I’m not following you. And Putin has a hold on TRUMP? Tell us how! I’d like to know, really.

AOW…You think immigration is the one issue that separates Trump and Hillary and Sanders?
I’m confused because most of what I’ve heard lately is that illegals are not coming in so much lately….

Of course Fox was incensed that Bush was tightening border control….My point of the post is that HE IS NOW SUCKING UP TO TRUMP, now that Trump is the presumptive…that perhaps he realizes that Trump MEANS what he says…..so FOX is a bit more scared of him than he’s obviously (not) been of Obama.

But seriously….what was the impression my post gave?

fwiw I’m no Trump fan. Not by a long shot, but I wouldn’t mind some very tight border control and elimination of the huge cost of supporting even non-criminal illegals by turning off the spigots and let them self-deport. You can imagine what I think of the illegal alien murderers and rapists ICE is letting out of prison every day.

So, what is Fox going to show Trump on the other side of the fence?

Like Z, I, too, wondered what Jerry meant by Trump advocating executing women and children but Ed covered that. Trump has said a lot of things I wish he hadn’t but I still believe he is our best hope. I pray I’m right ’cause it’s looking more and more like he will be put to the task. Jerry, relax, because I believe he won’t be like Obama by ignoring the advice of his experts but will listen to and discuss issues before deciding. That’s been his MO and the reason he is so successful.

Agree with Kid — and I have no problem with collateral damage from bombing or artillery strikes if the intel was reliable. And it ain’t partic’larly hard to find worse or more dangerous places to live than many urban areas in Mexico proper (not border towns).

Places that are worse to live in than most of Mexico:

Somalia, especially Mogadishu. Completely lawless and even soulless.
Haiti, especially the worst slum in the northern hemisphere, Port-au-Prince
Afghanistan; smuggling, opium, kidnapping, and terrorism are the economy
Liberia; squalor, disease, drugs, complete absence of hygiene
Yemen; piracy, fanaticism, institutionalized child abuse, rule of the gun
Congo; corruption, civil war, hordes of orphans, witchcraft, carjacking
Rio de Janeiro; nearly the highest murder rate in the world, disease, corruption, drug cartels
Zimbabwe; failure to the nth degree, inflation rate describes a hyperbola, infrastructure collapse
You can find more if you look, such as Cairo, Aleppo, Beijing, Moscow, and so on.

Every Chicano I have ever become familiar with has been hard-working, God-fearing, family-oriented, friendly, and hospitable. I can’t say that about most Gringos, can you?

Last time I did any reading on the subject, roughly a million US-type Americans and half a million Canadians live in Mexico on either a permanent or semi-permanent basis. Most live in the “Gringo” areas, where the costs are noticeably higher, but they still get along quite well on between $30K and $50K per annum, depending upon their needs and habits. Of course some of the resort areas are downright plush, if you can afford it.

Most feel fairly safe, much safer than they would in St. Louis or D.C. or Detroit or East L.A., according to the articles I checked. Banking can be iffy, and some places don’t have reliable internet, but unless you want to live and act like a monarch, it’s not particularly spartan or dangerous . . . except for those involved in the criminal subculture.

Most of the savage and bloody deaths we read about, especially in some of the border cities, involve career criminals and people dependent upon or involved with them, often human- or drug-smuggling activities.

We never apologized to 80,000 in Dresden or Berlin or Stuttgart or Bamberg….and on and on. These mutts can always count on the mosques or their relatives covering for them….look at the mooslem ghettos in Belgium / Brussels…Paris and now Germany. Hell..they might have to be fire bombed all over again…or the mooslems will do it for them.

    Z,
Good for you. We have collateral damage in wars where the enemy soldiers are wearing uniforms and not hiding behind civilians. Totally the opposite now. You either commit to collateral damage or just hand the enemy the keys to the city.

I disagree on Ryan. I get Trump isn’t easy to support, but he is obviously who the non-democrat voters have overwhelmingly chosen. Ryan should get behind him and support the republican Voters. That’s the real point. That he doesn’t makes me more wary of Ryan than Trump. and I don’t trust Trump to do anything useful. I hope he does if elected. I want the Voters Choice supported, If you remember from IMP’s illustration on Indiana voting. Way more people voted for Trump in 2016 than Romney. Way fewer voters voted for clinton in 2016 than they did in 2008. It’s a start.

He’s the nominee. Folks do what you want. My Plea is – This is about the supreme court, if Trump is hated or screws us in office, then lets hope we do better in 2020, or 2024, No emotion here. Just simple recognition that democrat administrations have left us with every life sucking problem in America. We know what we get with them.
From 1960: Defunded social security, welfare/wic, dept of non-education, destruction of healthcare. Absurdly expanded federal presesence and its costs. These are all things that knock on our front door everyday and there is no recovery from any of them.

We know what they bring us. At least we can put a wild card in and maybe one useful thing gets done. As stated already, locking down the border would be very useful.

And it is time America re-assert itself as not being the problem in the world. We are -(as dysfunctional and devolved as we’ve become in the last 5 decades)- Still the shining city on the hill. Proven by the fact that THEY all want to come here, not leave here.

The military decides? a Dictatortot decides? As scary as letting voters decide in 2016, the options are much worse.

Unfortunately, money drives everything. Who better than a guy like Trump to tackle our deficit?
