ANOTHER investigation of HILLARY?

APNewsBreak: State Department reopens Clinton emails probe

“The State Department is reopening an internal investigation of possible mishandling of classified information by Hillary Clinton and top aides, officials told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Although the former secretary of state’s closest confidants have left the agency, they could still face punishment. The most serious is the loss of security clearances, which could complicate her aides’ hopes of securing top positions on her national security team if she becomes president…”

So how quickly will this be done?  Before the election?  What the………??

Is Comey counting on THIS?  Because he has shown SHE LIED numerous times.

Yeah, right. Just like the Brits got another vote on Brexit because they didn’t like the way the first one went. Sorry, no do-overs, no mulligans. It’s over.

  2. Truth? The civil servants are simply in cover their tracks and asses mode.

  3. The truth will not come out as long as a Democrat occupies the Oval Office.

  4. Z,
Please check your email. I have a question for you.

  5. Adrienne says:

Investigate the possible mishandling of secret information??? I think the truth is already out there. Comey made it quite clear she did and she lied about it.

  6. bocopro says:

The name “Clintons” has become interchangeable with “Untouchables.” The new mantra is “Too Big To Jail.”

Cankles’ first executive order upon re-infesting the White House will be to pardon herself. Her second will be to repeal the 1st and 2nd Amendments.

It’ll be an update of the old “Do as I say, not as I do” attitude: “I’ll do as I please and you’ll do what you’re told.”

“The American People,” in whose name professional politicians make SO many sweeping false generalizations, will never know the truth because gubmint thinks we can’t handle the truth.

We’re past the point of no return, i.e., eternal partisan gridlock. The only remedy now is Rev.2. So y’all keep your powder dry and Remember the “I Don’t Know.”

    Sigh . . . . sorry, Will —

Amigos mios, I swear they use no ethics at all
That they’re corrupt, ’tis true, ’tis true ’tis pity,
And pity ’tis ’tis true—a roguish lot,
But fuggedaboudit, for they will use no morals.

fredd, the Brits got another vote? I have heard it’s very unlikely; Cameron said “No”….what are you hearing/??

bocopro; yes, she’ll pardon herself…isn’t that RICH? Hmmm. Remember Marc Rich?!

ALL: imagine the public not catching on to public servants “investigating themselves”? Of course, others investigating them never goes anywhere, either.

AND, we have to remember Republicans would have been ANNIHILATED had one done ANYTHING near as awful as Hillary, but Dems win. Every time. That’s what happens when the media’s in one side’s pocket. Terrible for democracy, isn’t it.

  8. The only way to get rid of Hillary is to vote for Donald Trump. That’s our only out.

  9. John M. Berger says:

“the loss of security clearances, which could complicate her aides’ hopes of securing top positions on her national security team if she becomes president…”

OH, but I guess that none of this will prevent [her] from becoming the president that won’t be able to hire them because of [her] own non/ mis/ malfeasance. Would, even, George Orwell ever have come up with anything that bizarre?

  10. Mal says:

Remember a question I posted a month or so back asking where did the $8 Trillion go from the “stimulus” package Obama shoved through Congress when he took office? And Z, you agreed with me and asked the same question. Well, considering the Clinton’s were “broke” when they left the WH…………………..getting my drift? Some in their pockets, directly or indirectly, and the rest to buy influence in the Media and government. How else can we interpret all this?

  11. Sparky says:

Personally, I don’t believe there’s any investigation that’s on going concerning the HildaBeast. Me thinks that it’s all part of the Clintonese orchestrated ruse to make people think that something is “being done” about Cankles. Pfffft.d More smoke and mirrors for she Sheeple.
As FairestWitness stated above, vote for Trump. Right now he’s our only hope.

  12. John M. Berger says:

“vote for Trump. Right now he’s our only hope.”

Yes and that reminds me of this:
“The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing”

  13. JMB, you’re absolutely right. But truly, what else can we do?

  14. John M. Berger says:

Shrillary is “Evil” personified and I hope that the proceedings this past week have revealed that to even the most I’ll-stay-home folks who would see her finish the destruction of this nation!

  15. Baysider says:

My God, I’m reading The Intimidation Game, a well-written documentation of how the Democrats weaponized the federal government to go after conservatives. There was a massive, well-coordinated effort that involved congress, highly partisan staffers at the IRS and FEC, and key presidential appointees. Who knows who else, since Lois Lerner’s hard drive wasn’t the only one that ‘failed.’ SEVEN OTHERS at the center of the scandal ‘crashed’ and were unavailable for evidence. Hmm. How lucky for them.

The stakes were high – the Senate and presidency. And this op kept some very effective conservative forces running defense instead of offense through two election cycles — all paid for by OUR MONEY.

Max Baucus (D) was a major instigator of the witch hunt against tea parties. Then when the lid was blown on their operation he was one of the thunderous voices demanding to get to the bottom of this. All that died down in a week. Lois Lerner retired honorably at full pension and is now playing golf instead of scrubbing floors in a prison where she belongs.

One or two little people got nicked along the way – someone had to be thrown to the wolves. I don’t see this playing out any differently. Sparky’s right. They have to show ‘something is being done.’

  16. Bob says:

The State Department investigation is just an obligatory white wash. There is no reason for it to happen. It doesn’t take a full blown investigation to understand the reasons for Clinton doing as she did. No proof is necessary for her having transgressed government secrets laws. The woman belongs in jail.

  17. I said it before:
    Comey’s playing an interesting game.
Maybe he knew that a recommendation would go unheeded by Lynch.
His testimony before Congress might be his revenge.
More damning evidence against Hillary may be coming out this way than the other.
He knew they’d ask him about the perjury, and now that get’s dragged out.
If Lynch had squashed an recommendation, it would all be over.
If Lynch had deliberately blown the prosecution, it would all be over.
He served up a big headache to Clinton.
He was smiling when he did it.
He even got to call her “unsophisticated”.

  18. Baysider says:

A middle level Republican political strategist I know has insisted all along they will never indict her. I could only wish Ed’s scenario had a chance.

  19. geeez2014 says:

Baysider, sadly, most people have thought she’d never be indicted…..most of us on the side of law and order and justice sure hoped so, didn’t we.

But Ed’s right in suggesting Comey made Clinton look bad….he really did. I’m hoping/waiting for Trump to slam it HARD. For once in his candidacy, he hasn’t jumped on his as hard as any thinking politician should/would have…which I find extremely curious.

But, then, maybe the rumors are true and he’s realized he can NEVER win and he’s going to bow out gracefully by saving face somehow…..let’s see what happens.

My aunt is STILL accompanying Star Parker to the convention, I found out today……I think they’re both NUTS as I’m thinking that is going to be one VERY dangerous convention in Cleveland….I’d stay away.

  20. Baysider says:

Yeah, I find it curious too. There is so much ‘there’ there. I heard a few remarks he made abut it earlier this week. But – again – it was mostly about HIM. Well, that’s OK too if it’s about HIS program, policies and positions. Never is in a cult of personality, which both candidates are to some degree. Your AUNT must be crazy!

  21. geeez2014 says:

My aunt’s more optimistic than I am about the GOP convention, that is FOR SURE, Baysider!!
But, then, I hate crowds, so there is really NOTHING about a political convention I’d enjoy!

  22. Dear God let it be an upset at the convention. Surprise us. Please.
Give us a candidate who want to win and acts like it instead of bragging about his primary wins, poll standings, who likes him now, etc.

  23. Mal says:

Interesting, Ed. But do you believe at this point another candidate would pull more votes than Trump? I believe all of us would support whoever would oppose Hillary but would most of the others, including independents and The Bernie Brood? Heck, i’m for anyone else.
