Then don’t take the JOB!

CHECK THIS OUT.  A Muslim flight attendant is suing her airline employer because she had to serve alcohol.

We’ve all seen information LIKE THIS, where two Somali Muslims won $240K because the trucking company they worked for insisted they (gasp!) deliver liquor!   Yes, they won.  See, the company delivers other things, too, so they should be expected to have two lists of drivers to accommodate their deliveries and not ‘hurt anybody’s sensitivities’.  WHAT THE HECK?  Why should the onus be on the company?   DO something ELSE if you can’t deliver certain things.   Do something else if you can’t serve booze on an airplane….flight attendants SERVE ALCOHOL!  And her suit isn’t the first, as you know.

What American doesn’t know that alcohol is served on airline flights?

And she may win a lot of money?  WHAT???

I’ll bet Orthodox Jews who arrived in this country 120 years ago had to do things that were against their faith for certain employment, too (working with pork, being around Christian prayer at an Old Age Home, cooking non Kosher foods, to name a few possibilities), and I’ll bet that, instead of doing it those things against their grain, they did another job…and succeeded.   They didn’t sue anybody and whine.

What’s UP with this?  It never fails to aggravate me…does it YOU?

Devout Muslims in traditional dress pretending to integrate and participate in the typical American milieu is a bit like hockey players in full uniform attempting to play tennis with a football bat and using the billiards rule book.

It’ll work about as well as recruiting the entire population of Fire Island for the Navy SEALS or a company of US Army Rangers as interior decorators for flipping Sausalito bungalows.

  2. This country is insane!

  3. John M. Berger says:

Fort Morgan Colorado, boyhood home of Glenn Miller, was once a ‘Norman Rockwell’ example of Middle America; WOW you should see it now! These vermin are completely incompatible with our way of life and any concept of the “melting pot” concept that others have adhered to. Call me a bigot or whatever you like but [we] don’t need one more of [them] on American soil. The more that we may give-in to them the worse it will get! [She] is but one more example.

  4. Silverfiddle says:

    This was all premeditated.

  5. John M. Berger says:

    Pardon my inadvertent redundancy.

  6. Imp says:

Muslims begin moving to non-Muslim countries in increasing numbers and the beginning of cultural conflicts are visible, though often subtle.

First migration wave to non-Muslim “host” country.
Appeal for humanitarian tolerance from the host society.
Attempts to portray Islam as a peaceful & Muslims as victims of misunderstanding and racism (even though Islam is not a ‘race’).
High Muslim birth rate in host country increase Muslim population.
Mosques used to spread Islam and dislike of host country & culture.
Calls to criminalize “Islamophobia” as a hate crime.
Threatened legal action for perceived discrimination.
Offers of “interfaith dialogue” to indoctrinate non-Muslims.

Muslim immigrants and host country converts continue demands for accommodation in employment, education, social services, financing and courts.

    Serge Trifkovic states:

“The refusal of the Western elite class to protect their nations from jihadist infiltration is the biggest betrayal in history.”

  7. Silverfiddle says:

Notice the set-up? There is no good or acceptable way to stand up for our national cultural norms. At worst, you are called a racist and bigot, dogpiled in the public square and savaged by digital pogroms.

At best, you are confronted with nasty progressives hostilely employing the Socratic Method: “Oh yeah? Just what is “Murikan culture anyway?”

That stops most people in their tracks. What is American Culture? How can we define it in this vast, beautiful and diverse nation of immigrants and many cultures? The Southwest (where I’ve lived all of my adult life) is very different from the Northeast.

    The simple answer is:

Toleration. Do your thing, but don’t demand I join in or applaud you.

Toleration: Worship (or don’t) however you wish, but don’t demand others bow down to your religious strictures and practices.

Toleration rejects those who intolerantly seek to impose their values and beliefs on others and distort our society.

If you don’t like vulgar nudity, don’t seek employment in a strip club. If you believe alcohol is sinful, avoid jobs where you may have to serve it.

More insidious is President Obama’s immigrant dumping program, shoving muslims from backward cultures into Twin Falls, Idaho and forcing the previously-homogeneous culture to deal with the crime and chaos that ensues. And there is no recourse.

Merkel’s doing it with a vengeance in Germany, and the people have no way to tell the elites to stop it without being branded a neo-nazi.

Our ‘leaders’ are forcibly gang-raping our societies.

Peggy Noonan delivers her own commentary on it in her characteristically polite and wistful way (the link is to google search to avoid the WSJ paywall. Click on the wall street journal link and you should get in):

How Global Elites Forsake Their Countrymen

  8. Silverfiddle says:

I apologize for spamming you, but I’m posting some excerpts from Noonan’s essay for those who may not be able to access it….

    Immigrant Dumping:

I close with a story that I haven’t seen in the mainstream press. This week the Daily Caller’s Peter Hasson reported that recent Syrian refugees being resettled in Virginia, were sent to the state’s poorest communities. Data from the State Department showed that almost all Virginia’s refugees since October “have been placed in towns with lower incomes and higher poverty rates, hours away from the wealthy suburbs outside of Washington, D.C.” Of 121 refugees, 112 were placed in communities at least 100 miles from the nation’s capital. The suburban counties of Fairfax, Loudoun and Arlington—among the wealthiest in the nation, and home to high concentrations of those who create, and populate, government and the media—have received only nine refugees.

  9. Silverfiddle says:

Ms. Merkel had put the entire burden of a huge cultural change not on herself and those like her but on regular people who live closer to the edge, who do not have the resources to meet the burden, who have no particular protection or money or connections.

Why are the elites doing this to us?

Ms. Merkel, her cabinet and government, the media and cultural apparatus that lauded her decision were not in the least affected by it and likely never would be.

Nothing in their lives will get worse. The challenge of integrating different cultures, negotiating daily tensions, dealing with crime and extremism and fearfulness on the street—that was put on those with comparatively little, whom I’ve called the unprotected. They were left to struggle, not gradually and over the years but suddenly and in an air of ongoing crisis that shows no signs of ending—because nobody cares about them enough to stop it.

The powerful show no particular sign of worrying about any of this. When the working and middle class pushed back in shocked indignation, the people on top called them “xenophobic,” “narrow-minded,” “racist.” The detached, who made the decisions and bore none of the costs, got to be called “humanist,” “compassionate,” and “hero of human rights.”

  10. Sparky says:

It’s all part of the Mooslim plan to take over our country by tearing down one thing after another. They play against our kindness and rules for fair play to use it against us. I’ve begged employers please do not hire any of them! Period. Make them starve or go back home. Yeah, I went there but this is war whether most can see it or not.
Hope your day is blessed Z. ~:)

  11. Silverfiddle says:

Our “leaders,” the cultural elite, Wall Street and Hollywood no longer see themselves as Americans–They are global citizens working for global values, such as they are:

The larger point is that this is something we are seeing all over, the top detaching itself from the bottom, feeling little loyalty to it or affiliation with it. It is a theme I see working its way throughout the West’s power centers. At its heart it is not only a detachment from, but a lack of interest in, the lives of your countrymen, of those who are not at the table, and who understand that they’ve been abandoned by their leaders’ selfishness and mad virtue-signalling.

To the global elites who infest the highest lofts of our nation, we are the aliens:

From what I’ve seen of those in power throughout business and politics now, the people of your country are not your countrymen, they’re aliens whose bizarre emotions you must attempt occasionally to anticipate and manage.

This, ladies and gentlemen, explains in a nutshell why a vulgarian blowtorch is an actual threat to the presidential pretensions of the “smartest” and “most-prepared person ever” to seek the presidency.

  12. Mal says:

What really get me is the large amount of Americans that still don’t get it! How can they be so obtuse? Trump FINALLY has said what most of us have been feeling right along. OBAMA AND HILLARY CREATED ISIS! FINALLY SAID FOR EVERYONE TO HEAR! But will it change their minds?

  13. SF – Exactly…premeditated. There’s no other explanation.

Mal – You’re joking, right? Islamic State in Iraq pre-dates the Obama Administration. Trump’s an idiot.

  14. Imp says:

“Nothing in their lives will get worse.”

And therein lies the problem and the real injustice.

  15. bocopro says:

    SF —

Not to argue with your assessments, but perhaps you’re giving the elite too much credit. Could be as simple as lust for money and power. I see Cankles, for example, as nothing but a capo de tutti capi in drag. And Soetoro . . . meh — nothin but a limousine liberal wannabe with champagne tastes on a Colt 45 mentality . . . reading words someone else has written and using a fistful of race cards while playing on somebody else’s bankroll.

As for the “refugees” and other immigrants . . . Hey — SUMbody’s gotta clean the commodes and carry out the trash, n’est ce-pas?

  16. Silverfiddle says:

bocopro: Agreed. Definitely a “lust for money and power,” of course they have to dress it up in happy talk and promiscuous virtue signalling. I do think Noonan nailed it. The elites display not just a callous disregard for us, but actual sneering contempt, and they’ve dragooned and suborned sovereign governments in their societal vandalism and rampant stampede for more money and more power.

  17. Silverfiddle says:

I like Mal, but I gotta agree with CI: Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld created ISIS. But, Obama-Hillary were critical early backers. All that CIA-supplied training, cash and equipment really put them on the road to success.

  18. Mal says:

If you folks remember, it was Al Quada that existed, not ISIS. ISIS was formed AFTER we withdrew from Iraq. That is what Trump was alluding to.

  19. Mal says:

Also, I read recently where the two have joined forces. That makes it more convenient for us, huh? Can you say “2 birds with 1 stone?”

  20. Abu Ayyub al-Masri founded the Islamic State in Iraq in late 2006, after the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. Long before the Bush-Maliki forces withdrawal agreement.

  21. Imp says:

“WASHINGTON, DC — Hillary Clinton received a classified intelligence report stating that the Obama administration was actively supporting Al Qaeda in Iraq, the terrorist group that became the Islamic State…”

  22. Imp says:

“Dr. Sebastian Gorka: Trump Is Right, Obama and Clinton ‘Facilitated the Growth of ISIS Into the Most Powerful Jihadi Insurgency the World Has Ever Seen’..

“Let’s just look at the facts,” he continued. “In 2008, when this Senator from Illinois became the President, and afterwards appointed Hillary as his Secretary of State, at that moment in time, ISIS didn’t exist. Al Qaeda in Iraq, the forerunner of ISIS, was one regional franchise inside Iraq. When we withdrew our troops – when we started to cook the books on intelligence, as you hear from the CENTCOM analysts – then we facilitated the rise of ISIS. With these false red lines in Syria that meant nothing, all the things were put in place by this Administration to help this former al Qaeda franchise become a trans-regional insurgency with more than 80,000 fighters today. That’s facts.”

  23. The best unclassified breakdown is here:

ISIL/ISIS/IS/Da’esh did not spring out of the ground when Obama took office, anymore than he “founded it”. It’s the most recent evolution of a Sunni movement that took root in 2001. Trump is either a) fundamentally ignorant or b) thinks his supporters are fundamentally ignorant.

But apparently it’s irrelevant now…after having every opportunity to retract or revise his statements, he doubled down, and called forth every mustered surrogate to defend his statements. Today, according to Trump, it was merely ‘sarcasm’. Nice. Real classy move.

But even taking a slightly more logical argument, that the withdrawal of US forces in 2011 [per the agreement signed by Bush and petty dictator Maliki], led to the phenomenal rise of the current incarnation…..Trumps own previous statements refute that position:

  24. John M. Berger says:

“Hey — SUMbody’s gotta clean the commodes and carry out the trash, n’est ce-pas?”
OK but [their] presence is worse than anything found in a commode or trash bin!

  25. geeez2014 says:

    Imp; Good information.

EVERYONE: So tell me…MANY people think Obama’s a muslim…okay, they have a right to think that and it’s not like there isn’t some smoke around that possible fire, right? But…
Does anybody think Hillary is? Or other American politicians? WHY would she ignore his “actively supporting Al Qaeda”? Why would ANYONE?
The “cooking the books” to make ISIS look less powerful than it is is said, and I understand it to be, Obama’s desire to look effective against jihad even though he’s been a dismal failure, lobbing bombs from time to time, knocking out one or another bigwig, as if the cockroaches don’t reconstitute within minutes?

SF, I think it’s premeditated, too. WHY?
QUICK STORY: About 25 years ago, Mr. Z and I were driving thru Germany….when it was still mostly Germans and lovely clean towns, etc…..I noticed VERY small villages had a mosque and, finally, I said “Honey, are there so many muslims in a village this size that they have a mosque?” He said “There are almost no Muslims in these villages ….it’s odd to see this now, I’d not seen this before.”

I now look back and believe it was PREMEDITATED….building the ISLAMIST INFRASTRUCTURE IN GERMANY and Germans, if they ask “What the…?” Get “What ARE you, NAZIS’? (SF is totally right on this and I’ve mentioned it 1000 times here, as y’all know).

  26. geeez2014 says:

SF “wistful”, THE most perfect adjective for Noonan…good one. And thanks for the article.

This felt like a kick in the stomach to me “From what I’ve seen of those in power throughout business and politics now, the people of your country are not your countrymen, they’re aliens whose bizarre emotions you must attempt occasionally to anticipate and manage.”

And, if we do not ‘anticipate and manage,’ we’ll lose our country to Islamists, etc.

I’d gone off Noonan when she admired Obama … but she’s worming herself back 🙂

Bocopro: “hockey players in full uniform attempting to play tennis with a football bat and using the billiards rule book.” Exactly…many of them do fit this description; not all.
    So, what can we DO?

SF is’s impossible to change this without sounding like we’re BIGOTS.

I hate the word “TOLERANCE,”….I guess that’s because I feel AMERICANS are the ONLY ones being TOLERANT and the invaders (As my stepson in Munich calls the ‘rapefugees’…another of his ‘nicknames’) are anything BUT TOLERANT OF THE COUNTRIES ACCEPTING AND SUPPORTING THEM (forever, by the way$$$$)

  27. geeez2014 says:

CI….”Founded” or “Created” were REALLY BAD CHOICES Of words and I don’t think Trump meant them….(and I don’t usually stick up for him, as you know).
I do believe that our pulling out of Iraq helped ISIS grow… you not?

REDSTATE is so right when he says “But, as I should have known, if you ever attempt to come to Trump’s defense you are doomed to be knocked to the ground and rolled about in his pig-ignorance.”
That is how I feel …every SINGLE TIME I soften toward Trump, I get knocked to the ground with some idiot thing he says…it’s so hard. THIS is why I can’t convince my cons. friends who will NEVER EVER vote for HIllary to vote for him…they feel he’s out of control DUMB on the subjects he MUST KNOW as a candidate.

As I’ve said IMAGINE THE DEBATES? OMG!! He knows SO little and, if we can say anything about the lying cheating thieving B*** he’ll be debating, she does know what candidates need to know to be conversant and debate. not him

  28. bocopro says:

Not only is it premeditated (the Islamist infiltration) but it’s been ebbing and flowing for 1400 years. The Four Horsemen of the Muslim Apocalypse are Treachery, Delusion, Fear, and Hatred, and the steeds upon which they ride are Ignorance, Propaganda, Lies, and Rape.

Running a modern society with archaic Islamic laws and principles is very much like operating a modern Navy with the engineering and propulsion principles of the Spanish Armada.

  29. bocopro says:

And on the subject of tolerance, I tend to tolerate those who tolerate me and have little patience with those who don’t, especially if they’re suicidal or homicidal.

  30. I do believe that our pulling out of Iraq helped ISIS grow… you not?

It’s difficult to answer, since it’s hypothesizing. It certainly didn’t hurt their advance…but what most pundits don’t account for is the fact that IRGC surrogates stood down only because we had a withdrawal date. Had Maliki played ball on the SOFA, or especially – if we arbitrarily decided we weren’t leaving – the Shi’a militia’s were ready to erupt in a moments notice. That dynamic could have swung the balance in a completely different direction, with US forces taking it from two asides….again. I’ll be intentionally vague here, but the Shi’a threat will become very real for us again, as soon as Mosul falls.

This is one very distinct time that I agree with Trump, circa 2007: “There’s nothing that we’re going to be able to do with a civil war. They are in a major civil war.”

  31. geeez2014 says:

Boco ” it’s been ebbing and flowing for 1400 years.” You’re preaching to this Armenian choir here, my friend! And yes, Islam truly has ebbed and flowed..>We were in Vienna about 15 yrs ago and rented a fiacre to take us around…the driver spoke English and said “That’s a statue of Eugene, who rid us of Islam…but they’re baaaack!” We didn’t quite grasp that significance at that time, of course!
And yes…tolerate those who also tolerate US.

CI, my husband said the same thing “let them duke it out between them”…he said that particularly about the Boznia/Albania, etc., problems.
As a military man, do you think America should ever tell WHEN we are leaving …or doing ANYthing, for that matter, militarily!?

  32. geeez2014 says:

DONALD TRUMP IS LOSING STEAM…Not only is he about the first candidate to ever say “IF I win..” the other day, but he has just said how, “If I lost, I’ll take a very very (translate EXPENSIVE, he likes us to remember that$$) long vacation.”

I think we’re done, folks. Hillary is president.

Oh, please, Assange, have SOMETHING on Hillary that the media and liberal venues can’t SQUELCH!

  33. Z – In cases such as withdrawal after an occupation [Iraq] …..we don’t really have a choice. It’s not as if we can sneak 30,000 people and their equipment out during the night. We shouldn’t advertise our rules of Engagement though, even though it is usually Unclassified information.

  34. geeez2014 says:

CI…good point…no, you can’t sneak 30,000 people out :-)….rules of engagement are unclassified? Per Hillary email rules or per the normal classifications?!!

  35. geeez2014 says:

OH, GAD…Trump uses the term politically correct for himself…he doesn’t understand that’s not what HE is..(thankfully!)..I wish someone on his team would TELL HIM “You’re INCORRECT, that’s why people have liked you!” I thought it was a slip of the tongue last week, but he just did it again 😦

  36. geeez2014 says:

oooooo Reince Priebus is at the Trump rally today! They’re pulling out all the stops!! I think that’s a very good thing….good message.

  37. Silverlady says:

Although I am an atheist, as has been stated previously, I respect the beliefs of others, with the exception of the Muslim cult. As they are so very tolerant of others I’m posting this little cut from b which I came across today.

    Aug 11 2016
Germany, yes, GERMANY! Christian refugees forced to hide Bibles because of death threats by Muslims in asylum centers
Bundestag member Erika Steinbach and Iranian-born pastor Mahin Mousapour called for much stronger sanctions for Muslims who abuse Christians in Germany at a press conference on Monday.

  38. Mal says:

Well, thanks for the correction. I had never heard of ISIS prior to our pulling out of Iraq; also when we heard about it on the news it appeared it was newly formed. My mistake, folks! But, we have to admit it may never have grown and expanded had we stayed as Bush had planned. My money is still with Trump, esp.when considering the “option”.
Did anyone listen to his speech to a builders group in Florida on Thursday? He really laid it out in their language, appealing to them with what he plans to do if elected. Talked about their tax rates, sub contractors, etc. That is one group he can really relate to……..and they respect his moxey because he’s been there, too.

  39. Imp says:

“The West vs Islam Is The New Cold War — Here’s How We Win..”

  40. Mal says:

Wait a minute. I just heard one time Presidential candidate Herman Cain on Fox News Bill O’Reilly say when Obama was elected in 2008 ISIS DIDN’T EXIST! Even HE said it, so perhaps I was right. Whatever.

  41. Mal says:

Perhaps we should just say ISIS existed but was basically unknown. Is that a good compromise?

  42. geeez2014 says:

Mal, I think it’s too complicated an issue to know that ISIS began, say, on May 23, 2006 …or any particular date. It’s not like they have ads saying “ISIS, serving sickening muslim murderers since 2006!” 🙂 Jihadists have always been in Islam under one loathsome name or the other and we don’t really even know the connections between them, etc….
    It’s a fascinating subject, though, isn’t it?

  43. John M. Berger says:

“Well, thanks for the correction. I had never heard of ISIS prior to our pulling out of Iraq; ”

No one else did either. Perhaps it was just dormant until B.O. opened the door.

  44. Quite right Mal. Semantics.

  45. Per Hillary email rules or per the normal classifications?!!

Per normal rules; the rest of us plebs don’t get the special protection of the elites.

  46. Mal says:

Thanks, everyone. ISIS probably was there but unknown or undetected.

  47. SF,
    Excellent essay by Peggy Noonan.
