Mike Pence

Do you think Mike Pence could win now if Trump was thrown off the ticket?
And could that happen legally?

Just curious about what you guys think.    If not Pence, who do you think could step in and beat Hillary?

Just curious, exactly who would be the ones to ‘throw Trump off the ticket.’?

  2. Like Fredd said, nobody is gonna dump him.
The RNC could, but not in time, even if it was a smart move.
Trump would have to step off and heartily endorse and campaign for Pence.
    It’s Trump or else.
God, please deliver us from third partiers.
    And Clinton.

    What Fredd and Ed said…

Trump ain’t goin’ nowhere. Of course, the progs in the DNC and in the press have been trying for weeks to shame the GOP into defenestrating Trump, but that would just feed their narrative of GOP in disarray and they would then say that Pence is permanently besmudged because he was a willing partner to Trump. At this point, its a really mean cat playing with a wounded mouse…

  4. FB says:

I really like Pence. I’ve liked him for a long time. He’d make a great president. Hopefully the state is being set for him to become president one day.

  5. bocopro says:

Nah, Pence is too regional. Very few people south of the Ohio Reeber, east of Cincinnati, and west of Chicago know who he is, or care.

He does do well at the lectern, tho. Surprisingly, I find him more credible when I hear what he’s saying but don’t see him as he says it. He actually speaks quite well and says logical, reasonable, credible stuff.

He’d be a better president than anybody we’ve had for the past 25 years, but I don’t consider him electable on his own.

I’m STILL not convinced that DJT hasn’t always had the idea in mind that he might step down for certain reasons. Never convinced me that he genuinely wants the job, just the satisfaction of knowing that he could achieve PotUSy if he wanted to. Right now, tho, it’s a matter of ego, so he CAN’T withdraw. And I see nothing legal or official that the GOP could do to dump him from the ticket . . . although they ARE doing everything UNofficial and non-legal to distance themselves from him and discredit him.

Why they want Billary to appoint the next 3 SCotUSes just doesn’t make sense to me. Once Shrillary gets a 6-3 on the court, the 2nd Amendment is a goner. Then she’ll start whittlin on the 1st. And anybody who believes that blacks and Latinos will be better off with her steering the floundering barge needs to lay off the locoweed and psilly mushrooms.

  6. John M. Berger says:

While Mike Pence would have made a viable candidate, initially, at this point replacing him for Trump would be so disruptive as to only worsen a less than optimal current situation. I agree with FB but I’m afraid that if Shrillary prevails it won’t matter, if and when Pence’s time ever comes. We will be too far gone!

  7. Frankly, I highly doubt that any candidate can defeat the Clinton Machine. Trump has the best chance of doing so, IMO.

  8. SF,
The progs in the DNC and in the press have been trying for weeks to shame the GOP into defenestrating Trump…

Hells bells! I keep hearing Fox News running up that false flag. I’ve just about had it with Fox!

  9. Sparky says:

Trump will not get dumped off the ticket. All the wickedness that the Left is throwing isn’t sticking to the wall like they’d hoped. They remind me of monkeys throwing their own feces. They act and look just that ridiculous and pointless.
    Keep praying.

  10. Imp says:

Why would he give up and something like this comes out? Salty language….Project Veritas does it again…

  11. FB says:

Yesterday I had a conversation with a friend of mine who said “Trump is a dangerous man because…. he goes crazy on Twitter at 3am.” I laughed internally then mention the interventions in Lybia, Syria, and now Yemen, without Congress approval, under Obama. Crickets.

This is the state of the electorate.

  12. Mal says:

Pence is a good man. Although we had never heard of him prior to being selected, we liked him immediately. However, the left would look frantically for something to lay on him, and if they couldn’t find something, they would invent it. That’s their M.O.

  13. Bob says:

Dumping Trump is just a bad idea. Right now, we have Rep leaders turning blue in the face because they don’t like the guy, but they have had their chance. Paul Ryan is part of the problem. Mitch McConnell is the problem. The RNC is part of the problem.

Heck, I am part of the problem. Maybe it’s time to blow it all up and start over again. Where’s General Sherman when you need him?

  14. Sparky,
They remind me of monkeys throwing their own feces.

    Perfect analogy!

Today I spoke with my 40-something cousin who sometimes votes for the Democratic Party candidate. She’s voting for Trump this time. And with enthusiasm! She’s had enough of the regulations and other measures put into place by the Obama administration.

  15. FB says:

Mrs FB’s brother-in-law who voted Dem his entire life (he’s 60) switched to Republican to vote for Trump. My real estate agent is also voting for Trump. Said he couldn’t get any worse so it was worth the shot. I’ve also met a few people here walking my dogs who said they’d vote for Trump. Asian immigrants from the Philippines. Be ready for a surprise I think.

  16. FB says:

it couldn’t get any worse. Arght!

  17. Imp says:

Want to read how completely corrupt the media is? Read this list of media toadies for Hillary before she even announced running.

  18. Baysider says:

Agree with all who ask “who is going to throw Trump off the ticket?” I really like Pence. Yes, he speaks well. He’s an old talk show guy after all.

  19. Silverlady says:

Imp, if I’m not off base, look at the lead-in at michellesmirror.com to see the chart of donations from reporters to Trump vs. Hillary. Talk about w-a-a0a-y off balance. Even worse than I thought.

  21. Silverfiddle says:

Thank you for the update. I was going to e-mail Z when I left work to ask what was going on–so strange no Monday post–and her not answering would have just deepened the mystery!

  22. Well that explains that.

  23. geeez2014 says:

GUESS WHAT! I’m BAAACK! I was patiently to wait until Friday, the first tech call time available (WHAT??) when, suddenly, I heard the ring of an email coming in…and VOILA! I’m back up!
I called the company to see if this was a fluke or could I count on it…they said “Don’t cancel Friday’s visit, just in case, until Thursday afternoon!”
    BUT, I’m up..

48 hours without it was FRUSTRATING!

great comments, all…except I DO like dealing with hypotheticals and would have loved to hear who you thought could win if it wasn’t Trump running. Come ON, you MEN, think out of the box 🙂

Every time Trump opens his mouth now, I have to change the channel… he’s on SO much stuff that ISN’T IMPORTANT and ONLy GIVING THE LEFT FODDER…AMAZING FODDER

For a good laugh, turn on CNN and see that they LITERALLY aren’t covering ANY world/country stories BUT ANTI TRUMP ANTI TRUMP…Gad, now Donald Trump Jr is supposed to have said something awful? I’m sure Megan Kelly will carry it..with disdain…I’ll watch in 30 minutes.
