  1. Hannity is the logical Press Secretary.

  2. bocopro says:

B’lieve I’d rather see Newt on SCotUS and Bolton as SecState. Certainly wouldn’t object to Newt in any high-level capacity, but both he and Cruz belong on the court rather than in political or international hoohahs.

Pirro is a confrontationalist and clearly anti-anything left of William F. Buckley. She’s a prosecutor by nature, not a jurist. Ditto for Napolitano: prefers discussin to decidin.

Clarke is sharp enough to be FBI Director, and I’d have no quarrel with him in almost any job related to keeping the barbarians outside the gate and thugs off the streets.

Not sure West is completely ready for a job that big, but I can think of a whole lot who’d do worse than he would.

Giuliani’s gettin pretty slow these days. Not sure his mind is as sharp as it was just a few years ago. Gettin a slight whiff of late-term Reagan from him. He’s earned the job, but not confident he’s up to it any more.

And there’ always been somethin about Pence that just don’t seem completely kosher. Can’t put my finger on it . . . a kinda gut-feelin thing. Absolutely no comparison, tho, with Citizen Kaine and his vast notions based on half-vast ideas. Pence is obviously the moderator, the safety valve, the mature adult for a Trump administration, but . . . he bugs me somehow. Not as much as Gropey Joe or Pope Algore, tho — kinda like Cheney bothered me but I never could nail down whatever loose flap there was with him.

Oh, well . . . we’re all flawed humans. Like me, for instance: I’ve been wrong before. I clearly remember a rainy spring day ‘long ’bout 1956 when I thought I’d made a bad decision on somethin, but I was mistaken. Think it had somethin to do with a girl who tasted all right but had a rotten core that nearly confused me for a while. Myra — that was her name. She liked shiny things.

Ah . . . backward, turn backward, O time in thy flight. Ou sont les coquettes d’antan.

  3. bocopro says:

Oh, forgot — how ’bout Michelle Malkin as Press Sec?

  4. Not Pirro. That whole lineup looks like a Fox News poster.

  5. Silverfiddle says:

I’m with Ed. It’s a Fox News poster.

Ted Cruz for Supreme Court Justice

    Preet Bharara for Attorney General

  6. Sparky says:

Works for me. I think that Judge Andrew Napolitano should be on the Supreme Court though. I think he doesn’t want the position but he would be excellent for the position.
I like your food blog. It gave Hubby loads of ideas for more yummy treats. Thanks! ~:)

  7. FB says:

Napolitano would be good indeed. Otherwise the top 2 rows of this list looks good.

We’re off to Idaho in 3 weeks!!! I’ll meet Adrienne!

  8. geeez2014 says:

Just read that Meghyn Kelly is looking to go from $15-20 million A YEAR at FOX……must be nice. Geeez, how much does one NEED?

RE THE BLOG POSTER: I am not a big Pirro fan, but we don’t hear much from Supreme Court Justices so it might work! I don’t have to hear that ‘thug talk accent’ like O’Reilly has.!!

Ya, those ARE the people Conservatives like, ergo, it’s like a FOX News Poster. I wouldn’t expect to see any of them on any MSNBC or CNN poster 🙂

FB: Have you sold and moved or just looking around at this point?

Sparky.. Ya, Napolitano’s okay….glad you looked at the food blog!

Ed, I’m not a Hannity fan anymore and I’m not sure he could take that HEAT…on the other hand, he WOULD drive the lib news people MAD with his posturing and what I call his “doggie with the pant leg…” chewing and NEVER letting go of the SAME THING..OVER AND OVER AGAIN. They’d get NOTHING out of him but constant unending sycophantic love of Trump as the response to EVERY question. Trump would LOVE that, I’m sure.

Bocopro: I get the same feeling about Pence, but try to ignore it because I think he’s mostly a good guy. But i have to say your comparison to Cheney brought Pence UP in my estimation because while Cheney’s been a little enigmatic, I have always trusted him COMPLETELY. I haven’t seen what you describe in Giuilani but will check it out next time I see him.

  9. geeez2014 says:

YOu’ve got to love Trump…speaking as I type ” The people in this country are GREAT, they’re so GREAT….we’re going to get rid of Common Core, people don’t like COmmon Core…these are GREAT people” ugh

  10. geeez2014 says:

“I had great ideas for this and OTHER great people had ideas for this…” “I’m not a politician , I’m only doing this for YOU, the American people…thank you, thank you very much…”

If it weren’t Trump speaking, going off teleprompter to tell us how great he is, and using adjectives like GREAT and HUGE and DISASTER, over and over again (that’s a Wharton education?), this wouldn’t be a terrible speech.

  11. FB says:

We’ve sold. Took one week. Escrow is pending but should be good. We signed a lease yesterday in Coeur d’Alene.

  12. geeez2014 says:

FB…congratulations! Glad you were able to sell so soon….It’s QUIET there, but I think you’ll like that! And it is so beautiful!

  13. Imp says:

Funny not to see John Bolton….who I think would make an excellent Sec of State?

  14. bocopro says:

    Re Pence/Cheney:

My younger son told me, and both his sisters tend to agree, that what bothers me most about Cheney is that he’s too much like me in too many ways. My older daughter (Elizabeth, or Liz) went so far as to remind me that not only was he born within hours of me but has a daughter named Liz.

My other daughter added that we’re both deliberate and considerate but irascible old bastards who suspect everybody of everything all the time.

Guess I raised my kids with a touch too much candor and honesty. I don’t “suspect” people; I just believe that most of ’em often bear close watchin.

My oldest son says I remind him of Rush Limbaugh with a piece of chalk in one hand and a ruler in the other. Not entirely sure how to take that.

  15. FB says:

It’ll be a life change. I’m scared a bit (b/c there are many things I like in L.A) but I’m happy to be around more conservatives and nature.

  16. Imp says:

@FB…”We signed a lease yesterday in Coeur d’Alene.”…

Congratulations FB. A former company I flew for was based there and I’ve spent many a day in that heavenly place. The scenery is breathtaking…all conservative, clean air.

  17. FB says:

Thanks, Imp. Clean air will be good!! (Higher cancer rates in L.A for a reason.)

  18. Imp says:

    FB…Mark Fuhrman lives there too…LOL

  19. FB says:

Interesting. That’s funny. Many Hollywood movie people are buying properties there b/c it’s cheap.

  20. Mal says:

I see no problems here because they all look so much better than what we have now.
Only 1 week left, folks! It’s make or break time for America to return to being as our founding fathers fought so hard to make her.

  21. Silverlady says:

My late father always told me that you are known by the company you keep. The contrast between the Trump prospects & those Bampot has had, or Hillary has already run with (the ones who have survived), & the people she would most likely choose are poles apart. All I ever need to know.

Heard Pence & Trump this morning on Sirius in me car, and both did very well. Pence is an excellent speaker, & Trump stayed on message about the disastrous raises in O-care premiums.

  22. STLloyd says:

Get that poser Rino Gingrich out of there!!!! Are you kidding me? Michelle Bachman or even Sarah Palin would be a better Secretary of State.

  23. geeez2014 says:

Imp; I agree…I’d go for Bolton any time. They left him off and shouldn’t have.

FB, I’m thrilled for you!! Even more thrilled that cancer rates in California are NOT high in comparison to other states, according to the CDC….that was just wrong!
Yes, it’s gorgeous there: It’ll be wildly QUIET but you’ll make friends and learn what’s there….it’d be too quiet for me but I know you’ve considered all this and the payoff will be WONDERFUL. Enjoy!

bocopro…I’ve always liked Cheney….fun comment about you and your kids!

I AM LISTENING TO HILLARY RIGHT NOW! (ARGH!)…She’s pulling out ALL the WOMAN stops on Trump….pulled out the MEXICAN JUDGE STORY, too….about every story she can think of…

“Can we just pause and reflect on the absurdity of Donald Trump..?” she says….
Here’s HRC : “But, you have to ask ‘ why does he do these things?’ I’ll tell you who..a BULLY, that’s WHO..Donald Trump doesn’t get to decide womens’ values in her eyes…what happens to the confidence of OUR GIRLS?…their sense of self worth….how can we have someone like THIS becoming President who insults half the population of America? and what about our boys? This isn’t someone we want them looking up to! (Z: Was Bill Clinton?!!)”:

blah blah blah She has REALLY got good writers, I have to admit….but she sounds like she’s trying WAAAY too hard as she whines about our kids “feeling bad about themselves”….

  24. geeez2014 says:

Hillary’s just telling a crowd that Trump doesn’t want equal pay, that he is trying to suppress minority voting, etc………..she’s lying her big …um……..off.
    She’s lying! Amazing.

  25. Silverlady says:

I finally figured out what Hillary reminds me of when she gives a speech; old films of women’s prisons when the head warden is barking out orders to the inmates.

  26. Imp says:

    Anyone volunteer to help her?

  27. Imp says:

“Hillary’s just telling a crowd that Trump doesn’t want equal pay,..”

It came out a few days ago that SHE…SHE pays women 20% + less than men.

  28. geeez2014 says:

Imp, and the amount of women who work for Trump in far-up positions is VERY high….
She’s on a terror trip this week…begging folks to walk thru neighborhoods for her, scaring them that he’s a monster….she’s ramping up BIG TIME

Meanwhile, he’s FINALLY doing what he should be doing and staying on focus and outlining what he’ll do….

  29. geeez2014 says:

SilverLady, SHE DOES SOUND LIKE THAT!! 🙂

Thankfully, her speeches this week all seem to be about TRUMP HATING WOMEN.
And CNN is on a ROARING HATE TRUMP trip!….story after STORY after story against him….all personal, sex, Russia (which the FBI today is disclaiming “no connection with Trump and Russia”), etc.

MORE Thankfully, FOX is doing nothing but outlining Clinton indiscretions, bad deals with Khazkhstan oil, Foundation lies, Emails, etc. ALL FOCUSED and things people REALLY care about.

  30. geeez2014 says:

BY THE WAY: the friend I’ve mentioned who worked directly under Reagan and knows a LOT OF REPUBLICANS in high places, told me recently that when Peter Something-or-other (his name just escaped me but he was JUST interviewed on FOX..sorry!)…anyway, he is a conservative writer who exposes Hillary a lot and when he first wrote about the Clintons, about six years ago, my friend asked if he had any security detail to keep him safe and do you know his answer was “You’re about the 50th friend to ask me that!”

If the Clintons were safe, if there was NO rumor, no smoke to this story, do you think FIFTY people would be warning a young writer to BE CAREFUL after writing about THEM!?

    WOW

  31. geeez2014 says:

Listening now to Bret Baeir…I think he must read my blog and my comments 🙂 He just said exactly what I did about the way Hillary and Trump are speechifying today.

  32. John M. Berger says:

I’m OK with it but I’d rather see Bolton as Sec. of State and I’d also rather see Carson as Sec. of Health and Human Services, if the cabinet post continues to exist. I’ve always thought of Surgeon General as more of a figure head, maybe I’m wrong. Carson’s remarkable resourcefulness would be better served elsewhere. Finally, Newt would do well in some sort of an advisory capacity (think a modified version of Chief of Staff). All of that said, the organization as portrayed above would certainly be an improvement over the past >7 years or anything that Shrillary would come-up with!

  33. Bret Baeir and Fox are nailing it!

  34. FB says:

Hillary can say whatever she wants but I think at this point, everything that comes out of her mouth is seen as lie. When reading Twitter responses to her, you clearly see she’s lost the social media and perception battle this week. Trump has done something that not many people have done before: take over the emotion of people. Usually that’s the monopoly of the left. And for that, I applaud him. It’s a lesson the GOP needs to learn for the years to come.

  35. geeez2014 says:

FB, I believe you’re right….people are really getting on to her lies…
I also agree with your EMOTION comment. I often say he’s given “permission” for Conservatives to really speak as they’d like to have for years….to be BLUNT, to say “NO ILLEGALS” and feel that comeback we’ve had for years “SO YOU HATE IMMIGRANTS?” can’t intimidate us anymore.

Republicans haven’t been emotional OR articulate enough…..of course, we don’t want to run a country on EMOTIONS, but we must rile people UP with emotion…getting their deepest thoughts out, voting with our hearts again.

    Ed, SO GOOD, isn’t it?

JMB: Good point…Surgeon Gen. does seem more figurehead than the other position…true. We’d want Carson more productive than in a figurehead position…

  36. FB says:

Well put, Z. We need to capture the emotion and the heart of people, not necessarily run the country based on how we feel. Wishful thinking and “feel good” policies are for the left. We’re about fixing problems, not creating more.

  37. Imp says:

I din’t think it matters much anymore. With immigration illegal or otherwise…..once Red states are now purple or flat out blue. Count them…Texas, NC, Fla, Nevada, New Mexico….all gone.

  38. geeez2014 says:

thanks, FB….I totally agree with you.

AM LISTENING NOW TO HUME ON FOX…..You know, some of the wikileaks emails aren’t really so astonishing. What campaign DOESN’T say things like “We’ve got to grind our candidate to a pulp” I mean, people get VICIOUS when they’re planning campaigns….hating the opposing candidate, plotting, etc., so I think we’re a little off to accuse the HRC dopes of being SO out of line….get my point?

BUT, when Podesta says “we’ve got to DUMP these emails” and the HRC dopes say “he meant get them out to the public,” then I BALK. DUMP? And then they bleached them? He meant DUMP THEM, GET RID OF THEM.

Did you hear Hillary referred to Huma as a “member of my campaign staff?” THAT cracked me UP. Now that Huma’s in trouble, her BFF is A MEMBER OF MY STAFF?! 🙂

Brother, this leftwing media can REALLY obfuscate SO WELL!

  39. Imp says:

“we’ve got to DUMP these emails”

The outright bullshit, lies and subterfuge is startling….incredibly dishonest and frightening.

  40. Imp says:

I predict…she wins. And we lose terribly and big time. We’ll officially be no different than Venezuela or any other 3rd world dung heap we mock. Criminality and lawless are now the way of the country and it’s “leaders”.

  41. geeez2014 says:

    Imp, I think it’s actually ‘frightening,’ too…
We won’t lose by a lot, but we will “los terribly and big time.” “terribly and big time” being FOR OUR COUNTRY, which will NEVER repair itself. It simply won’t be able to, not with her Supreme Court choices.
    now THAT is REALLY frightening…

  42. FB says:

Elizabeth Warren deleted all of her tweets in support of Hillary Clinton. You know it’s the end for her.
Don’t be too pessimistic. Things are changing quickly.

  43. FB says:

Also this is important. Something serious is happening within government.

  44. Bob says:

I’ll go with bocopro, mostly, on this one. None of the Fox News characters are what I want on the cabinet. Well, I think Trey Gowdy is absolutely super and would make a great attorney general. He’s not in the picture, but I believe Christ Christie would do great. Or, how about Christie for Secretary of State? We need someone really kick-ass and Chris fills that bill. The EPA needs a strong person to empty that cavern of snakes, and maybe Herman Cain could take care off that little problem. So, how about Homeland Security? We have a great candidate named Carlie Fiorina, who could wade into that mess and manage to not only build the wall in record time, but she is just the person to manage that so-called impossible immigration problem. She is an extraordinary manager.

Secretary of Defense? Unfortunately, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney, two of the very best this nation has ever had, are a bit long in the tooth. General Jack Keane always impresses me as a Fox News military analyst, but I don’t know of any of those hundreds of retired and active generals that might fill the job.

Commerce? How about Carlie Fiorina. She is smart and knows how to negotiate.
Labor Secretary certainly needs to go to Newt Gingrich. That’ll show them. He’s fair.

    How about them apples?

  45. Bob says:

I forgot about Agriculture and Education. Just shut them down and nobody will miss them.

  46. FB: I just watched that video on FB before coming here.

  47. Z: Scherie and I were discussing the meaning of “dump”. Every other time it means “put them out on the table” and I think it does here. “Get it over with.”

  48. geeez2014 says:

FB? WHAT? Warren’s been on the Hillary train the last few weeks BIG TIME. What happened??? Because of the uptick in Wikileaks, etc???

Bob, these people are not FOX News Characters. For goodness sake, they’re Republicans who FOX features like the Left features their people. That’s just not fair, in my opinion! I like Jack Keane, too. Fiorina’s SURE been quiet, huh?

Ed, I’m sure Podesta didn’t mean to ‘show the American public’ but DUMP, but you do?? I don’t think “get it over with” is in their book if it has to do with honesty.

  49. geeez2014 says:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Pieczenik
This guy is …um….’quite a guy’…..I’ll leave it at that.

So he wants us to believe Julian Assange would DIE for America…? Remember when he was afraid to come out with the information because he could be shot on the balcony?

It’s this stuff I REALLY worry about….Pieczenik…please read the wikipedia on him.

  50. FB says:

I used to troll Elizabeth Warren a lot when she’d promote Hillary. All the tweets advocating for her are gone. Something’s up.

  51. FB says:

I did read before you mentioned Wikipedia. He still worked for Kissinger so I’m sure he still has a network.

  52. geeez2014 says:

FB…Warren was just stumping for Hillary 3 days ago!

  53. FB says:

3 days ago. A lot of things have happened since then. I think we have people who know what’s going on and they don’t want to be part of it.

  54. FB says:

Warren is a self centered opportunist. She made money flipping foreclosed homes. She’s a predator basically. So she’ll jump ship if she has to save her butt.

  55. geeez2014 says:

FB..amazing, isn’t it? I mean she was an AVID supporter 3 days ago; I watched some of her speech…HILLARY IS THE BEST!! Baffling!

  56. geeez2014 says:

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/fbi-releases-bill-clinton-closed-case-files-days-232844166.html

OKAY. Something REALLY weird is going on. This is absolutely the oddest thing ever, and I don’t blame the Dems ONE BIT for being REALLY TICKED OFF about this….
this is so VERY CLEARLY POLITICAL……..why dredge THIS up again? Unless you’re just trying to wreck HRC’s chances? THIS IS OBJECTIONABLE and I can’t imagine how the Dems will paint this.

UNLESS…this leads to a direct connection with Trump and Wikileaks just days before the election and this release is only a hint as to a real NOVEMBER surprise to wreck the Republican candidate?. Which I wouldn’t put past ANYBODY these days. And GOD FORBID.
