CRIME and PARTY!

crimemap

Fello blogger Woodsterman published this yesterday among other great stuff HERE….I had to republish because this, while not surprising, sure does show a LOT about the people IN the parties, doesn’t it?

Remember when the Tea Parties had their events and law enforcement would say “They leave the park cleaner than they found it”…THOUSANDS of people and they leave it clean.

Compare that to ANY bunch of Democrats marching in the streets or demonstrating in parks!

Good morning Z, Congrats on the election. I know you’re not a Trump fan but it’s what we got. I’m hoping for the best and planning for a nightmare. I, too, am mourning Leon’s passing. His was one of the first big rock shows I ever attended. Around 1972, his tour for the Carny album. Been a big fan ever since. Fav song, “Hummingbird”. B.B. King’s cover is beautiful.
My real reason for calling is the maps you posted. Once again, you’ve been had, ” The map pictured on the bottom actually shows a 2012 electoral map that was created by Mark Newman from the Department of Physics and Center for the Study of Complex Systems at the University of Michigan, and not a government-produced crime rate map.” I think it’s safe to assume these memes floating around the tubes are fake. They at least merit 30 seconds of fact checking. I’m just looking out for your credibility, Z.

  2. “Do it for ourselves” vs “Not my job”.

  3. GREAT GRAPHIC! I just shared this with many.

  4. FB says:

    Wow, it’s eerie and creepy.

  5. bunkerville says:

    Nothing like a visual!!!

  6. Kid says:

    Yep, thousand words right there.

  7. oaxacadave says:

    Except it’s not true Z…

The bottom map is the 2012 election map…

    Craig, thanks..NOT SO FAST, however!
I’d wanted to check when I got this sent to me but couldn’t figure out what to use to check…I did find it now, since you helped. Thanks.
I’m going to stick my neck out here and suggest it’s pretty darned correct, however.
Dave, sorry…as I just said above…lI got to thinking and just Googled more deeply becauuse I could never suggest the crime rate in Iowa is as bad as California, could you? Or the crime rate in Alabama’s as bad as Illinois?
TAKE A LOOK AT THESE MAPS, FOLKS….MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE BOTTOM MAP INCLUDED IN MY POST? I THINK NOT.

Craig…Hummingbird is actually one of my very favorites, too…I had to smile when I saw your choice…”.In my life I’ll love no other
Because she’s more than I deserve
And she gets me where I live
I’ll give her everything i have to give
    I’m talking about that hummingbird”

Imagine my coming FOUR WEEKS from seeing him LIVE for the first time…finally? I literally wept a few times on Sunday. For him and for me. THAT’s what a fan I was. Do yourself a favor and listen to some interviews he gave…great guy.

HUMMINGBIRD: Fabulous tune, great lyrics…I hope you have a “hummingbird” in your life πŸ™‚

You guys should hear the CNN coverage now…now “INSULAR” this process of picking Trump’s cabinet, etc., is…how it’s a “knife fight”. How LATE they are in picking….because (the big CNN meme) THEY DIDN’T EXPECT TO WIN!
OH, they’re hilarious…the smugness, the excitement with every slam…you’ve GOT to watch, it’s like SNL or any of the late night show skits…but they mean it πŸ™‚
You’ll all be glad to know that CNN doesn’t think Kushner (the son-in-law) is not “SVENGALI” πŸ™‚

De Blasio is going to meet Trump to tell him how the New Yorkers are feeling….I’m hoping Trump escorts him out personally. Trump was right that he is “the worst mayor of NYC”..

  10. geeez2014 says:

There’s something about Jeff Sessions I can’t stand..I SO hope Tom Cotton gets Sec of Defense….

  11. geeez2014 says:

“i’m TOLD this is how the country’s seeing this,” says a WaPost ‘expert’ on CNN πŸ™‚
He’s TOLD how the COUNTRY’s seeing things…but they elected him.
This really is kind of fun.
And, the worst thing for CNN seems to be the fact that Trump is picking people who were LOYAL TO HIM! WHAT? Anybody see ONE PERSON who’s NOT qualified to do the job he’s said to be taking? LOYAL AND GOOD? I’m for it. CNN isn’t.

  12. Kid says:

Z, Regards the crime map link. Living near the ocean must do something crazy to people πŸ™‚

And let’s all remember how it took obama 9 months after he was int he thite house to put a cabinet together. Trump’s will be ready by Jan 20 and already working on stuff.

  13. geeez2014 says:

Had to turn it off; they feel what Trump people say is “to the contrary” of what CNN is hearing…so it’s wrong. And stupid. “Everybody’s a lobbyist, he’s not draining the swamp and never did want to…” etc. CLICK…back to FOX.

  14. geeez2014 says:

BY THE WAY…do you know that the left’s on the warpath to making Trump’s kids leave the businesses? Because there might be a foreign country with a Trump hotel which Trump might have to deal with as president?
THis is going to be tough………the Left LOVES watching it…..Apparently, they just can’t take the fact that a businessman who has made MONEY can succeed and take over the country to better run it from a businessman’s point of view.
This could be a tough one.
Ivanka was wearing something from her jewelry line on the 60 Min interview….they’re suggesting she did it for advertising because someone at her company Tweeted that retailers can use the images. SO, Ivanka needs to stop wearing her own jewelry. Trump needs to leave his business and so does she….what’s next?

  15. geeez2014 says:

Kid, living near the ocean does something WONDERFUL to me every single day πŸ™‚
But, yes…liberals tend to live near the water, or the mountains, or the big cities, that’s for sure.

Couldn’t find any links on Obama’s delay in filling positions….but I HAD heard that back then…of course, NO criticism on CNN in those days πŸ™‚

  16. geeez2014 says:

Kid, did you notice the similarities of the maps I FOUND that Craig and Dave questioned?

  17. Kid says:

Z, Yes I did see the similarity.

  18. cube says:

The one thing we should take from Obama’s regime is his exclamation, “I WON.” The rest is our story so let’s not get all wiggly-kneed over what needs to be done.

  19. Sparky says:

The similarities between party affiliation and low-life’s are kind of a “well, duh” don’t ya think. πŸ˜‰

  20. Mal says:

If we went by square miles won, it was a landslide!

    ;o)

  21. geeez2014 says:

    Mal..HILARIOUS and TRUE!

    Sparky…yup

Cube. I swear I was thinking of blogging tomorrow on that very thing ..Obama said very clearly to the whole world “Elections have consequences,…at the end of the day, I WON”.

BUt let TRUMP say that and it’s HELL TO PAY!! I hate the media.
And I’m not too hot on my Mexican hairdresser today who said she voted for Hillary because HE SAID MEXICANS ARE RAPISTS! I asked if she thought he really meant every MX is a rapist.
I then asked this extremely strong Christian how she could vote for a woman who thinks children should be aborted within days of their birth.
I swear I left her no tip today…Well, I was feeling a little strapped and when that “15%” thing showed up on her tablet for me to either push or not, then sign for my Credit card, I just signed and pushed CONTINUE.

    It’s the least I could do πŸ™‚

  22. Kid says:

I could vote out the electoral collage if each representative had to vote how their district voted rather than winner take all for the state.

  23. geeez2014 says:

Kid, that’d work for me. No matter what Republicans want will be met with ‘gerrymandering’, etc…and we lose, so…it doesn’t really matter.

I urge you all to watch Tucker Carlson on FOX at 7pm EST…he’s better than most of them. HERE is a guy who actually argues with his libs he interviews…SO refreshing. I’m so happy SOMEONE has the info and the guts to do that. He just tore the stupid ears off a liberal kid fighting for immigrant “respect and dignity”…doesn’t give a CRAP what happens to our country, but everybody deserves respect and dignity.

Apparently, the Left QUITE LITERALLY doesn’t believe in LAWS anymore. AT ALL.
    watch Tucker…he’s good.

  24. FB says:

Another map. The one where candidates won the popular vote. Enough said when you look at it and why the electoral college makes sense.

  25. FB says:

On the electoral college this is my take: we wouldn’t worry about if if the power of the presidency was limited. But this isn’t the case anymore. So to make sure local democracy is respected, the best solution would be to do away with the presidency. I know this is drastic but each governor could participate in running the country. I don’t see why governors couldn’t decide on who runs things that are federal in nature such as foreign policy and military. Then they’d be one commander in chief. Anything else goes back to the states. Problem solved.

  26. Kid says:

Sorry FB, Somebody has to be in charge, Otherwise, gridlock while someone nukes us. Someone has to be on the button.

  27. geeez2014 says:

FB said “I don’t see why governors couldn’t decide on who runs things that are federal in nature such as foreign policy and military.”

In Germany, people vote for THE PARTY….and then the parties who are on top share the moment and pick a leader….sort of.

I think the button’s a good point, Kid.

  28. FB says:

I said there is a commander in chief. He pushes the button

  29. Baysider says:

Great maps/visuals all. Shared today. Gave me relief on a long, arduous day on the road.

  30. Kid says:

    FB, Sorry, missed it.

  31. woodsterman says:

Thanks for the link, Z. Towns like Detroit are crumbling and they still vote democrat. Boggles the mind, doesn’t it.
