I’m not a fan of the rule, as it’s rather arcane and has been applied ridiculously unevenly over the years. Warren was citing the statements of others [one of which was a Senator at the time] regarding the conduct of Sessions, from before he was Senator. I don’t favor special rules put in place by politicians…to shield politicians from criticism.

Actually, Schumer articulated it quite clearly a day or so ago when he made remarks about Dems dulling the spear if they go to the mat on every issue every time . . . makes ’em look petty and whiney, like a 2-yr-old who’s had his binky taken away from him.
Shoulda let her just go ahead moonbatting and diggin that hole she’s fallen into. The hard left will always support her brand of lunacy, but the more noisome and frantic she becomes, the more some of the moderates might leave the ship in the next port of call.
The Senate has always been pompous and phony. What bothers me more is that the NAACP lauded Sessions
but now feel they must return to the plantation and go with their massas’ political commands to oppose him.

Bocopro! I hadn’t seen this… I just Googled NAACP AWARD JEFF SESSIONS and only one article was shown. Also, people are forgetting how many Black men supported Sessions during his hearings…. This award, and the fact that it’s not in the news, is astonishing. I wish FOX had the guts, if they know about it….because the NAACP is now apparently protesting Sessions at his offices, etc.
THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST LET HER TALK…it was late at night, nobody’d EVER EVER have heard this because, as you can see, the CONTENT of King’s letter haven’t been discussed, only WARNER BEING TOLD TO SIT DOWN.

I’m with Kid and FB. Instead, why didn’t she mention all the “good” Obama did for the Blacks during his administration? They never, ever, mention THEIR failures…….or OUR successes. They are so lopsided! Also, during any of their demonstrations, have you ever seen one protester talk about their protest w/o yelling and screaming? Or sensibly answer questions thrown at them? NEVER! Yet the media continues to cover and protect them.

I’ve not been paying attention to the ruckus in the 9th Circuit. They are the most overturned circuit in the group – very a-constitutional. Trump acted fully within the legal authority granted him by Congress – a temporary suspension of visas and suspension of refugee admissions pending figuring out how to do better vetting – better than the nothing done now.

On the front page of the Las Vegas Review Journal this a.m. they had a map of the 9th District and it is HUGE! I had no idea it encompasses Calif., Oregon, Wash., Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands and is 20% of the U.S. Population and 40% of the nation’s land mass! It might be headquartered in San Fran but certainly not limited to just the dingbats living there. No wonder they used that court. It said there has been talk of breaking it up but not happened yet. It’s definitely time!

Now we’re hearing the State Department employees have ways of discussing anti-Trump stuff on line and are able to hide it so nobody sees what they’re writing. They’re also signing petitions against him. There are new private email accounts being created so people in government can talk against Trump in private. Get this; they are worried they may have to do illegal things he asks for. As if they CARE?

PATCO is the Professional Air Traffic Control union. I had a neighbor back in Illinois who was the shop steward for PATCO air traffic control center in Aurora. He was bragging to me and others how Reagan had no choice but to give the union all they demanded. Reagan refused and PATCO went out on strike. Reagan replace all air traffic controllers with military controllers and non-union civilians. He also fired 100% of the striking union members and prohibited them from ever working in the US air system. My neighbor, last I heard, was taking a job at an airport somewhere in central America.

Kid, I watched Sanders debate Cruz last night on a CNN TownHall re Obamacare…..As the hour progressed, it was SO clear that it’s so cool to be a lefty and just promise the WORLD . Sanders is ALL OVER single-payer….Cruz is a fabulous brain and debated well but the “I’ve got GOODIES FOR YOU” candidate seems to always win.
