VERY troubling information from FOX on Flynn and the Administration?

What do you think of THIS?  The Left’s going to REALLY go to town over it.

The worst that can happen is Trump is lying, Pence is lying and they’re both impeached because whatever Flynn apparently relayed to them is hot and should have been exposed when they found out.

The best is that Flynn said absolutely nothing untoward with Russia and so this is no big deal.  Flynn is now admitting he does remember talking sanctions, however, so did he really lie to Pence or is Pence lying?

I thought there were transcripts of the conversations between Flynn and Russia?

On the other hand, nothing was said at all  last night on the news…CNN, FOX…zip.  I heard FOX’s John Roberts ONCE and that was the end of the story.

I think that’s telling!  Or have YOU heard about this story and any scuttlebut on it?

  1. bunkerville says:

I doubt any there there. But as for FLYNN a whole lot more to his story IMO.

  2. What the president knew and when did he know it has long been a question for journalists.
But in this case a timeline of who knew what might be appropriate.
The question is did Flynn lie to Pence and did Pence think he was lying.
Everything he remembered at some other point to some other people that eventually filtered it’s way too Trump is not an impeachable offense.
It seems that the only impeachable offense for Trump would be, like Clinton, did he or did he not lie under oath.
There’s no question of his colluding with the Russians. At least to a rational mind.

  3. I heard a talk show host this morning exonerate Snowden saying that he was a hero and then later saying that Flynn should still be in office, having been brought down by a leaker. You can’t have it both ways.
And if Flynn did lie to Pence, he does not deserve to be in that position.

  4. Imp says:

““Any intelligence agency cannot listen to Americans’ phone calls,” Nunes told reporters Tuesday night. “If there’s inadvertent collection that you know is overseas there’s a whole process in place for that.”
He explained, “It’s pretty clear that’s not the case, so then they could have been listening to someone else and inadvertently picked up an American. If that happens, there’s a whole process in place to where they have to immediately get rid of the information unless it’s like high level national security issue and then someone would have to unmask the name — someone at the highest levels.”

“So in this case it would be General Flynn and then how did that happen. Then if they did that, then how does all that get out to the public which is another leak of classified information,” Nunes added. “I’m pretty sure the FBI didn’t have a warrant on Michael Flynn.”

What the real issue here is not what he said IMO, but who was the bastard(s) that leaked National Security secrets to the subversive press? That needs to be found out and prosecuted fully.

It’s very rare that reporters are ever told about government-monitored communications of U.S. citizens, let alone senior U.S. officials.

If this was intelligence, the revelation of the Flynn meeting just revealed something to the Russians we shouldn’t want revealed — which is that we were listening in on them and doing so effectively.

And if it was an FBI investigation, then the iron principle of law enforcement — that evidence gathered in the course of an investigation must be kept secret to protect the rights of the American being investigated — was just put through a shredder.

Keeping our intelligence-gathering assets hidden from those upon whom we are spying is a key element of our national security.

And as for playing fast and loose with confidential information on American citizens: No joke, people — if they can do it to Mike Flynn, they can do it to you.

    PJ Media.

This just in at Yale, Princeton and Harvard…

  6. geeez2014 says:

Ed “There’s no question of his colluding with the Russians.” You think Trump or Flynn was colluding with Russia?
I agree, if Flynn lied to Pence, he had to go. That was Trump’s thinking, I’m sure.

Imp: Some in the news are saying that hearing Flynn’s conversation with Russia was inadvertent, something done from time to time to see if they can catch anything. Who’d believe THAT?
I believe our intel is lost and that’s the most dangerous thing possible.

I remember, about 30 years ago, I heard a guy on PBS in a lecture on intel; he had been a bigwig in either the CIA or FBI, I don’t remember now which; he said THEN that they can barely find good people who haven’t stolen, done drugs, lied,..and worse, but they must accept people of less moral fabric than years before because that’s all that’s left. He said “We used to get our best and brightest from the Ivy LEague schools, whose students were eager to serve…now that’s been taught out of them and we get no ..”zero” applicants from those schools….”

I think we’re reaping the harvest of liberal teachers, those against anything Conservative, anything pro America. …in lieu of KINDNESS TO OTHERS…forgetting that without American strength and goodness, we no longer have the financial or moral pinnings in order to do ‘kindness to others’

  7. edbonderenka says:

I meant that he was not colluding.

  8. geeez2014 says:

THis is despicable, dangerous and disgusting:
MUNICH, Germany (Reuters) – Republican Senator John McCain broke with the reassuring message that U.S. officials visiting Germany have sought to convey on their debut trip to Europe, saying on Friday that the administration of President Donald Trump was in “disarray”.

McCain, a known Trump critic, told the Munich Security Conference that the resignation of the new president’s security adviser Michael Flynn over his contacts with Russia reflected deep problems in Washington.

  9. geeez2014 says:

Now I just heard Harward didn’t take NSA because the Trump WH is in such dysfunction.
With Republicans like this, who really needs enemies?

  10. Baysider says:

As the IBD points out, “these [media are] the same people who couldn’t be bothered by one of the biggest political scandals ever — the IRS’ targeting of Tea Party groups, using taxpayer money to subvert American democracy. … or Fast and Furious, the ATF’s scheme to let thousands of weapons to be sold illegally to the drug cartels.

Publicly revealing official U.S. signals intelligence, lefty journalist Glenn Greenwald reminds us, “is one of the most serious felonies” involving classified information. … No fewer than nine “current and former officials at multiple agencies at the time of the calls” helped spread the information.”

    Revenge of the Swamp People

    LOVE that Wambulance, Imp!

  11. Kid says:

Yes, obama and crew were doing illegal things in volume and Nada. That’s unimaginable to realize – even today.

Ted Cruz put out a list of 76 illegals acts of obama –

I’m sure there are moer, but these are the iron clad ones.

Oh well, Trump for 8, Pence for 8. I’ll probably be gone by then and we’ll have done as much for our descendents as we could.

  12. Kid says:

IMP, Thanks, that one went straight to the blog.

  13. Mal says:

McCain should’ve taken the high road and backed Trump instead. Instead, he tried to get even and hurt our country. Some “hero”, huh?
Also,if we complained when Obama did these kind of things we were racists. It’s all part of being treated “equal”.

  14. Kid says:

Let’s call em Racists MAL !

McLame is such a tool. Unfortunately people in Arizona never learned how to vote. They never elect decent people.

  15. geeez2014 says:

No bias in the media, right? “Speaker Paul Ryan, the zombie-eyed granny starver from the state of Wisconsin, has discovered that even some of his fellow Republicans have existential doubts about the magic contained in his magical economic asterisks. At issue is one of the centerpieces of his screw-the-poor tax “reform” plan, as Tiger Beat on the Potomac informs us. It’s called the “border adjustment tax,” which Ryan describes as something between a tariff and the traditional Republican support for open trade borders. This is because Ryan, for all the pixels wasted on his alleged economic genius, really doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about.”

Kid, SO TRUE about MCCAIN…I have NEVER liked that guy and think he’s one of THE most self-serving jerks ever. I do respect the decision many say he made in Nam when he chose to stay with his men than go home cuz his daddy was a navy bigwig, but many others who were with him tell not-so- nice stories about him. I know he suffered, and for that I’m sorry, but he’s also one of those Republicans who loves to go whine on CNN. I can’t forgive that.

  16. geeez2014 says:

    Imp…love the Wambulance!!!

EVERYBODY: What we all need to understand is we can tell the truth on our conservative blogs all we want and it doesn’t matter:

Instead we get cowering and silence…maybe Trump’s continued attacks on the media will help Republicans SPEAK OUT. TELL THEIR TRUTH…STOP refusing to say “Look, yes, Trump’s doing this, and okay, Flynn messed up, but WHAT ABOUT CLINTON AND LEACH ON THE TARMAC? Or ….on and ON and on……………..

  17. geeez2014 says:

Baysider..good article, thanks. For some reason I’ve never trusted Flynn…and I find it absolutely shocking he’d speak to any country before this administration took over, but….

(is Mr. B still in hospital?)

  18. Kid says:

Z, Whomever wrote that brain vomit about Ryan is likely some academic punk – regardless of age – that thrives on hate like most libtards do. Category 1 candidate for below decks on the good ship Ignoramous.

And believe me, the people that Served with on J. Kerry have incredibly less glowing reviews of that POS. Well, if not voted out, mclame will soon age out I suspect.

And yes, the repubilcans need to start defending themselves, cowardly dipsticks most of them are. Ted Cruz and Trey Gowdy come to mind as major exceptions.

  19. geeez2014 says:

AND there’s MORE…Those are just the headlines TODAY on YAHOO HOMEPAGE, which MANY READ.

If this keeps up, the historian might be right. I’ve been sensing this….I hope my usually spot-on intuition is wrong this time.

  20. geeez2014 says:

Kid, it doesn’t matter who wrote it..people read it. That’s the problem. Republicans should show what people thought of John Kerry…Republicans need to respond with FACTS, not emotion like Trump does.
I’m hoping and praying that Trump’s new Communication Director (Spicer was doing both) really sits on his Tweets…not stopping them, not taking away from the toughness, but making them at least sound civil and dignified for a president. TOUGH, MAD, but no schoolyard bully crap anymore.

  21. Kid says:

Well, I don’t read that stuff, and I don’t thinik enough do to matter. Meaning the ones who do are already in the tank for the dems. We beat those people last time and given the questions about DJ Trump and whether he would deliver, if he actually Does deliver(It’s looking like he will) the margin of victory will be Huge next time.

  22. Kid says:

Z, The insane always scream the loudest.

  23. One of the names being touted as a Flynn replacement, is LTG H.R. McMaster. THIS is the kind of thinker we need as NSA. I recommend reading at least his Wiki bio, if not more. McMaster has been an intellectual legend within military circles since at least 2003. He gives me the same sort of goosebumps that Mattis does.

  24. Kid says:

    Let it be done.

  25. Mustang says:

While I think Flynn was the wrong choice, I can understand why Trump made it. I am in complete agreement with CI …

  26. geeez2014 says:

I say “Let it be done,” too……….I HOPE SO, based on CI’s input.

Kid, I think enough do read it to matter….but maybe that’s just me. It’s extremely disheartening for most of us who are trying to get behind this presidency, too…believe me. It’s why I can’t watch much TV news’s all so dreadful

  27. geeez2014 says:

CI, I have heard of the book DERELICTION OF DUTY and find it interesting that Mc Master was that author….. Brother, does HE have the background….amazing guy.

  28. Mal says:

Those may be the headlines now, Z, but they are still digging themselves in deeper every day. A year from now, those in the media that haven’t made amends will be minor leaguers at best. As Trump continues to gain the confidence of the people, his opposition will self-destruct.

  29. Mal says:

He simply is proving to be more than they ever bargained for.
Eat your hearts out, CNN, ET AL!

  30. Kid says:

Z, Well in any election, you jhave the people very much behind the candidate (Me becuase I focus on activities) and others who focus on other things but when they enter the polling place cast their vote for Trump becuase thay’re not going to cast it for the beast, or warren, or sanders. Works for me. I’m not into telling people what to feel. But agian put me in the category that if Trump delivers on the path his is currentlt projected, I don’t care if he does it in a strip club in his underwear. Absolutely not.

  31. Baysider says:

Actually, I don’t find it shocking Flynn would speak with other governments through the transition and so close to the change in power. Neither does Andy McCarthy. THIS National Review article by him highlights that as “the FBI Set its sights on Flynn, its agents were consulting with Obama advisors.”!!!

Mr. B has been out, back in, and just today out again of hospital.

  32. Kid says:

Let’s all go out and get some ice cream shall we?

Hoe about Rori’s Artisanal Creamery in Santa Monica.

  33. geeez2014 says:

Baysider, I don’t agree with all of McCarthy’s conclusions but if he says it’s not uncommon for newly elected president staffs to speak to important foreign government people, than OKAY….I find it odd, and see how it raised brows, considering (as McCarthy says) Trump’s seemingly cozying up with Russia the last few months, etc. Optics are important. BUT, not so important to restrain Flynn from a conversation,.

I ADORED his saying this: “….(the NY Times) having dedicated more resources to undermining the Trump administration than the Republican Congress has to advancing Trump’s agenda.”
I find that 100% true….and very, very clever on his part!

This new “Resistance Government” of most of the media and Obama is going to HAVE to be shut down but, sadly, our intel is in on it and THAT is dangerous.
Glad Mr. B’s home now…I hope he’s comfortable. And I HOPE the doc appt went well this week…

  34. geeez2014 says:

Kid, I know Montana fairly well and never heard of Rori’s! Got to try that!
    And yes, let’s go!
    What’s your fave flavor?

Mal, I think it’s more damaging than everyone else here, but I hope I’m wrong….truly.

  35. geeez2014 says:

GAD! Did Trump say nothing constructive today in his ‘campaign speech’ (oh God)….all the news everywhere is saying was he insulted the media!!! (SURPRISING THEY’D SAY THAT! NOT!)

  36. Melania opening with the Lord’s Prayer.
    Great stuff.

  37. Imp says:

Watch…the media did all they could to stop this from being viewed and are going apoplectic over it…

    And here’s…….MILO

  38. geeez2014 says:

Imp…what’s to go apoplectic over? I was hoping he nailed Baher better. but , of course, he DID stand up for Trump, which is good.
Gad, on FOX, he looked handsome, nice suit, no pearls or makeup….on this he looks like a Queen…yuck. I’m all for gays living normal lives…not copying women.
I love his mind…that is one REALLY bright guy, isn’t he? Terrific.

Ed, I couldn’t believe your comment so I googled, and there she was….kind of stunning…not sure what to think or say about it. Mostly, I think I’m delighted!

  39. geeez2014 says:

Ed, you know, of course, we’ll now have to open also with Muslim prayers….it’s the next step.

  40. So I just watched Central Intelligence and sitting through the credits as I always do, I noticed the Executive Producer was Steve Mnuchin,
Donald Trumps nominee for Secretary of the Treasury brought you all of these favorite movies:

  41. geeez2014 says:

Ed, that’s WEIRD! Who knew the Sec of Treasury candidate’s an exec producer? LOTS of money in that!

And you say “not under Trump,” but wait for the scuttlebutt….this could go to the SC, too. They’ll win; they have to, legally. All religions (I don’t agree, of course, but they will win) must be represented if you’re going to use religion 😦

  42. Mal says:

Yes, we have freedom of religion so people can worship however they choose. HOWEVER…..
We are a country founded on a belief in God. That was the intent of our founding fathers and is signified with the word God being engraved all over D.C. in addition to the Ten Commandments.
Ergo, its not unreasonable to assume we always elect people with the same beliefs, wouldn’t you say? Obama was the first (and hopefully last!) President that ran counter to his predecessors.
