VERY troubling information from FOX on Flynn and the Administration?

What do you think of THIS?  The Left’s going to REALLY go to town over it.

spies

The worst that can happen is Trump is lying, Pence is lying and they’re both impeached because whatever Flynn apparently relayed to them is hot and should have been exposed when they found out.

The best is that Flynn said absolutely nothing untoward with Russia and so this is no big deal.  Flynn is now admitting he does remember talking sanctions, however, so did he really lie to Pence or is Pence lying?

I thought there were transcripts of the conversations between Flynn and Russia?

On the other hand, nothing was said at all  last night on the news…CNN, FOX…zip.  I heard FOX’s John Roberts ONCE and that was the end of the story.

I think that’s telling!  Or have YOU heard about this story and any scuttlebut on it?

I doubt any there there. But as for FLYNN a whole lot more to his story IMO.

  2. What the president knew and when did he know it has long been a question for journalists.
But in this case a timeline of who knew what might be appropriate.
The question is did Flynn lie to Pence and did Pence think he was lying.
Everything he remembered at some other point to some other people that eventually filtered it’s way too Trump is not an impeachable offense.
It seems that the only impeachable offense for Trump would be, like Clinton, did he or did he not lie under oath.
There’s no question of his colluding with the Russians. At least to a rational mind.

  3. I heard a talk show host this morning exonerate Snowden saying that he was a hero and then later saying that Flynn should still be in office, having been brought down by a leaker. You can’t have it both ways.
And if Flynn did lie to Pence, he does not deserve to be in that position.

““Any intelligence agency cannot listen to Americans’ phone calls,” Nunes told reporters Tuesday night. “If there’s inadvertent collection that you know is overseas there’s a whole process in place for that.”
He explained, “It’s pretty clear that’s not the case, so then they could have been listening to someone else and inadvertently picked up an American. If that happens, there’s a whole process in place to where they have to immediately get rid of the information unless it’s like high level national security issue and then someone would have to unmask the name — someone at the highest levels.”

“So in this case it would be General Flynn and then how did that happen. Then if they did that, then how does all that get out to the public which is another leak of classified information,” Nunes added. “I’m pretty sure the FBI didn’t have a warrant on Michael Flynn.”

What the real issue here is not what he said IMO, but who was the bastard(s) that leaked National Security secrets to the subversive press? That needs to be found out and prosecuted fully.

    BTW…:

It’s very rare that reporters are ever told about government-monitored communications of U.S. citizens, let alone senior U.S. officials.

If this was intelligence, the revelation of the Flynn meeting just revealed something to the Russians we shouldn’t want revealed — which is that we were listening in on them and doing so effectively.

And if it was an FBI investigation, then the iron principle of law enforcement — that evidence gathered in the course of an investigation must be kept secret to protect the rights of the American being investigated — was just put through a shredder.

Keeping our intelligence-gathering assets hidden from those upon whom we are spying is a key element of our national security.

And as for playing fast and loose with confidential information on American citizens: No joke, people — if they can do it to Mike Flynn, they can do it to you.

Ed “There’s no question of his colluding with the Russians.” You think Trump or Flynn was colluding with Russia?
I agree, if Flynn lied to Pence, he had to go. That was Trump’s thinking, I’m sure.

Imp: Some in the news are saying that hearing Flynn’s conversation with Russia was inadvertent, something done from time to time to see if they can catch anything. Who’d believe THAT?
I believe our intel is lost and that’s the most dangerous thing possible.

I remember, about 30 years ago, I heard a guy on PBS in a lecture on intel; he had been a bigwig in either the CIA or FBI, I don’t remember now which; he said THEN that they can barely find good people who haven’t stolen, done drugs, lied,..and worse, but they must accept people of less moral fabric than years before because that’s all that’s left. He said “We used to get our best and brightest from the Ivy LEague schools, whose students were eager to serve…now that’s been taught out of them and we get no ..”zero” applicants from those schools….”

I think we’re reaping the harvest of liberal teachers, those against anything Conservative, anything pro America. …in lieu of KINDNESS TO OTHERS…forgetting that without American strength and goodness, we no longer have the financial or moral pinnings in order to do ‘kindness to others’

THis is despicable, dangerous and disgusting:
MUNICH, Germany (Reuters) – Republican Senator John McCain broke with the reassuring message that U.S. officials visiting Germany have sought to convey on their debut trip to Europe, saying on Friday that the administration of President Donald Trump was in “disarray”.

McCain, a known Trump critic, told the Munich Security Conference that the resignation of the new president’s security adviser Michael Flynn over his contacts with Russia reflected deep problems in Washington.

No bias in the media, right? “Speaker Paul Ryan, the zombie-eyed granny starver from the state of Wisconsin, has discovered that even some of his fellow Republicans have existential doubts about the magic contained in his magical economic asterisks. At issue is one of the centerpieces of his screw-the-poor tax “reform” plan, as Tiger Beat on the Potomac informs us. It’s called the “border adjustment tax,” which Ryan describes as something between a tariff and the traditional Republican support for open trade borders. This is because Ryan, for all the pixels wasted on his alleged economic genius, really doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about.”

Kid, SO TRUE about MCCAIN…I have NEVER liked that guy and think he’s one of THE most self-serving jerks ever. I do respect the decision many say he made in Nam when he chose to stay with his men than go home cuz his daddy was a navy bigwig, but many others who were with him tell not-so- nice stories about him. I know he suffered, and for that I’m sorry, but he’s also one of those Republicans who loves to go whine on CNN. I can’t forgive that.

REPUBLICANS NEED TO GIVE THIS INFORMATION IN PUBLIC. HOLD PRESS CONFERENCES; SHOW THAT OBAMA’S THE ONE WHO PICKED THOSE FIVE ARAB COUNTRIES WITH MUSLIMS, FOR EXAMPLE.
SHOW WITH IRREFUTABLE PROOF ALL THE STUFF WE KNOW AND THE PUBLIC DOESN’T.

Instead we get cowering and silence…maybe Trump’s continued attacks on the media will help Republicans SPEAK OUT. TELL THEIR TRUTH…STOP refusing to say “Look, yes, Trump’s doing this, and okay, Flynn messed up, but WHAT ABOUT CLINTON AND LEACH ON THE TARMAC? Or ….on and ON and on……………..

Baysider, I don’t agree with all of McCarthy’s conclusions but if he says it’s not uncommon for newly elected president staffs to speak to important foreign government people, than OKAY….I find it odd, and see how it raised brows, considering (as McCarthy says) Trump’s seemingly cozying up with Russia the last few months, etc. Optics are important. BUT, not so important to restrain Flynn from a conversation,.

I ADORED his saying this: “….(the NY Times) having dedicated more resources to undermining the Trump administration than the Republican Congress has to advancing Trump’s agenda.”

Ergo, its not unreasonable to assume we always elect people with the same beliefs, wouldn’t you say? Obama was the first (and hopefully last!) President that ran counter to his predecessors.
