Picture THIS!

Even the photographs from the White House are criticized!   THIS ARTICLE had me shaking my head…the amazing, if subtle, slams to Trump’s photographic record of his first days as President:  “so rigidly posed,”  “not seen many of his photographer’s pictures yet,” etc., are never ending.  Is there NOTHING the man can do RIGHT?  The picture below is, evidently, not good enough for the media….I think it’s terrific…you?

What?  You can bet they’re not because, after all, it’s TRUMP and no journalist would write “good job with the photos,” right?  Archived Smartphone shots?  🙂

Apparently, casual is ‘cooler’….the shot says nothing but…it’s apparently cooler.

  1. It’s an opinion article from Vox…and should be treated with the deference due to any partisan rag.

It’s all just so damned obvious. Not only are many of the “protesters” and “resisters” blithely unaware of the breadth and depth of the left’s calumny and hypocrisy, many of them are actually PAID to make great nuisances of themselves by objecting to Trump, prob’ly because they don’t have reg’lar jobs to go to since they live in enclaves traditionally managed by liberals.

Nothin more than a hissyfit for not getting their way. Childish behavior – not childLIKE, but childISH — more immature and uninformed than progressive and patriotic. They are about as American as today’s Italians are like the Romans who once conquered their entire known world.

DJT will not get credit for being right about anything even if he cures cancer, eliminates poverty, and permanently ends jihadi terrorism. When his predecessor blizzarded American entrepreneurism and manufacturing with his pen and his fone, he got a free pass, especially from ABCNNBCBS.

Even people who disagreed with Soetoro and considered him ineligible, inexperienced, and incapable of PotUSing didn’t stage gigantic rallies; after all it was COOL, and about time, to have a black in the Oval Office, even if he was a Marxist halfrican. Not a’tall racist for blacks to vote for him out of ethnic loyalty, but downright Klannish for whites to vote against him.

Most of those protesting Trump’s policies can’t even clearly articulate what those policies ARE, calling things racist which are NOT racist, and opposing a SCotUS nominee who was vetted by the Senate UNANIMOUSLY for a seat on a court only one step lower than the Supreme.

For some reason a career felon and habitual liar is preferable to anything more than one step right of center. The most laughable thing about it all is that SHE is toying with becoming the NYC mayor while DeBlasio is considering a run for the presidency.

You may assume that I have trotted out all the auld time-honored Anglo-Saxon obscenities and Navy profanities and put them through their paces as I contemplate the fact that the freedoms and individual powers protected by the Constitution will be the cause and manner of its demise, just as Schickelgruber’s ascension to absolute power was entirely in accordance with the Weimar’s rules.

I smile because I recognize the delicious irony in it all. I laugh because there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

It reminds me of a prom picture. It is one of those things that is necessary. I think the Obama picture is staged as was his Presidency from the beginning to show some aspect of doing something.

  5. Kid says:

    These people are all cRa-CrA…

  6. geeez2014 says:

CI… I treat all opinions as opinions; that’s what we deal with on our blogs. Important to see all the various opinions and remind ourselves how low some will go to insult any party’s president, but particularly this one today.

Bocopro! SO true…most of Trump protesters interviewed absolutely don’t know his policies….he’s never proven himself racist, xenophobic, homophobic….but the fun never stops, does it. People believe the media; which is why, as I said to CI, it’s vital that we’re aware of how far all news venues will go.

Bob…” to show some aspect of doing something”…..Yes, probably posed as well. Great point.

Kid….I’m ignoring that. You please do the same 🙂

RE THE GORSUCH APPOINTMENT: “DARK MONEY” is the big term today. Have you heard that term before the last couple of weeks or is this a term the Left’s made sound as ugly as possible for money whose provenance isn’t known.
Dianne Feinstein is actually slamming DARK MONEY and naming the KOCHS as if SOROS isn’t dark money!?
DARK MONEY…can probably be used only by Republicans, according to the Left, Which calls the shots in terminology to sound as awful as possible.

  8. geeez2014 says:

I WISH some of you were listening now to the hearings on Gorsuch; Feinstein is bringing up a couple of sad stories where Gorsuch followed the law, but she says he should have been kind and thought outside the law. Can’t make this stuff up, and her stories DO make him sound like a devilish fiend….I have to hand her that.

  9. Baysider says:

Picture – I would have looked for another one. Both men are awkward. Ladies fine. You know how hard it is to get pictures right. Pence should have been quarter turned instead of facing camera. But I would NEVER bring this up as criticism of any administration.

Feinstein must think we’re idiots . Doesn’t everyone know by now of the very limited investment by the Koch brothers in the political arena compared to – say – the teachers unions, carpenters unions, Priorities USA and, as you say, Soros.

  10. Mal says:

I believe even the left will eventually get tired of all the bickering of their party and ignore, if not turn against, them. This all could backfire on the Dems.

    ‘Ya think?

  11. These are the things that matter: Bit by bit, Trump methodically undoing Obama policies.

Trivia and small-minded sniveling are the things that too many Americans like to consider (if “consider” is even the right word) and sell.

Sometimes I think that Americans suffer from a pandemic of ADD. And I am certain that there is an outbreak of Trump Derangement Disorder.

The picture looks fine to me, but of course the leftists just must say, “Obama did it better.” In their eyes, Obama did everything better. Sheesh.

  12. geeez2014 says:

Baysider, more than the artistry of the photos, it struck me as such a criticism one makes when only searching desperately for something to criticize… So juvenile and so transparent, isn’t it.

Mal, I actually do think that’s right…not the dyed-in-the-wool far left but those normal Dems , I believe, are really sickening of the whole thing. The Gorsuch appointment is going to backfire, the Dems know that, and that’s why they’re so carefully highlighting this morning why people really shouldn’t vote for him…it boils down to “Yes, he ruled on the side of the Constitution but he is so unkind.” Nobody’s buying that.
And I blame the Reps for not constantly stepping in and reminding the country about the timing of Garland’s nomination…something BIDEN had bemoaned only a few years back, that we mustn’t nominate Supreme Court Justices so close to an election.

AOW: : You captured exactly what I’m saying…..OBAMA DID EVERYTHING BETTER to sooo many people, and he’s now doing ‘better’ at all he can to destroy this presidency. This is why Obama’s face didn’t flinch during Trump’s inaugural speech, or the times we saw them have a moment….Trump’s thinking “This guy’s not so bad!” and Obama’s thinking “You a**h***, I’m gonna to get you, you rich white jerk, and you don’t even know HOW BADLY… “

  13. Z,
I don’t doubt that BHO was thinking exactly that!

  14. Addendum: the Cult of Obama.

    Makes me wanna puke.

  15. cube says:

*face plant* Unbelievable. What will they criticize next, Trump’s socks? It’s tiresome.

Feinstein’s use of the term “dark money” is not by chance. Probably one of the liberal talking points of the day. Look for the rest of them to pummel Trump and republicans with it.

  16. geeez2014 says:

AOW….me, too. I don’t think we’ve begun to see what the Obama Cult will do….

Cube..EXACTLY. LOOK, I just GOogled DARK MONEY!
“The term was first used by the Sunlight Foundation to describe undisclosed funds that were used during the United States 2010 mid-term election.[6][7]”
Here is info on the Sunlight Foundation, which Wiki calls “nonpartisan” but REALLY? !!!

Ya, apparently it’s a ‘real term’ coined in 2010….

My thought about it is THIS IS LEGAL….If the Senators are so ticked off at DARK MONEY (only ticked off if it benefits the Right, of course), let them change THE LAWS.

  17. geeez2014 says:

AND NOW THEY”RE ONTO O’REILLY…GOT TO STOP THE MAN!!! This was dug out by a ‘journalist’….

  18. Kid says:

Well here’s a smile. Bill Maher told the beast to ‘go back into the woods’.

Anyway, Isn’t the Kellyanne feet on the sofa thing much bigger than this issue?

  19. geeez2014 says:

Kid, to the media, Kellyanne’s feet on the sofa are worse than Obama’s big shoes on our desk….probably bigger than Russian COLLUSION 🙂

  20. Dark Money.
    Tom Steyer.
    Made his money in coal.

  21. cube says:

My husband and I were talking about O’Reilly before this article came out and referred to him as
Bill O’Loofah. His shenanigans with women are nothing new. Hope this summary article helps him keep his little loofah in his pants where it belongs. Didn’t FOX just renew his contract?

  22. Imp says:

“Isn’t the Kellyanne feet on the sofa thing much bigger than this issue?”

Where’s the ones with Obummer sleeping on that couch after 18 holes?

  23. Kid says:

Or shoes on The Desk. Granted Bush did that too.

  24. Kid says:

I’ll bet Reagan never did though. Google images doesn’t find any.

  25. Kid says:

I’ll bet Trump won’t either. Nor will I btw.

  26. Reagan always wore a suit to the office.
As for Bush and Obama? Two wrongs don’t make a right, but Bush brought a dignity to the office that far surpassed Obama’s disrespect for the office due to his disrespect for the country.

  27. Kid says:

Ed, Understand. Bush projected an image of being patriotic anyway. obama was Way off the Ricter Scale when it came to disrespecting America and Americans. I was just front running someone positng a link of an image of Bush with his feet on the Resolute desk. Which I don’t condone at any level.

To me that desk represents millions of American lives forfeited in the defense of America, the contribution and possible suffereing of every American who contributed something even if it was just a tax payment to America and a lot more in the same vein. If you’re the president, you respect that desk as much as you respect the tomb of the unknown soldier.

    btw – a fantastic read. – http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2015/06/standing-hurricane-insane-dedication-watch-tomb-unknowns/

  28. Kid says:

And this piece at the end is an equally worthile read. – First Female Sentinel – http://www.arlingtoncemetery.net/heather-johnsen.htm

  29. Kid says:

Better stated? – To me that desk represents the physical act of decision making that resulted in millions of American lives forfeited in the defense of America,

  30. kid, I wasn’t disagreeing at all. Two wrongs, etc.
That’s the Resolute Desk. Not just A desk.
I’m surprised that some presidents didn’t use it.

  31. And I’m surprised that Sotero didn’t banish it with the Churchill bust.

  32. Kid says:

Ed, I didn’t think you were. I saw it as an opportunity to make a point that was on my mind.

yea, Geeez, actually it is surprising that barry didn’t have the desk dumped somewhere. Wouldn’t doubt he thought about it and had the idea analyzed.

Thaniks for the link. (Man I’ve read that thing on the Tomb Sentinels severals times and it still chokes me up.)

  33. Kid says:

I read when Ronald Reagan first sat at the desk, someone was with him and he asked them “Do ou have goose pimples? Because I do.” I’d have that and more.

  34. The Melania Trump image – an official WH photo – is also being trashed in some headlines.
The woman is gorgeous, well-groomed, gracious and carries herself well.
If Mother Theresa was the new FLOTUS the Left-outs (or are they now leftovers?) would also be mocking her. There is just a total lack of credibility in some of the headlines and media narratives.

  35. geeez2014 says:

English prince…I saw the articles trashing her….it’s a beautiful photo but they just can’t STAND it..the articles have innuendos about her big diamond, the retouching (which every woman in her right mind would have done for a portrait for posterity, etc.
It’s VERY disheartening…the left’s intent on WEARING US DOWN.

Re DESKS: An acquaintance of mine had me for dinner last Summer at his condo and he has a desk of Richard Nixon’s in his living room….I have to admit I didn’t get goose bumps but it was pretty cool. Dinner was served at a table once owned by Bob Hope…etc. He’s Chinese and apparently is from some big dynasty and his father’s well known…..in some field I don’t remember.

  36. Kid says:

The toxic left just needs to be ignored. honestly, would we post stories about ignorant, loud, out of control 3 yr old’s that we encountered in a restaurant? I wouldn’t. I might call the manager in while I was there, but it would be a non-item after I left.

  37. Kid says:

Z, Well, I wouldn’t get goose bumps at Nixon’s desk, but I sure would at the Resolute Desk.

  38. Wear John John played underneath…

  39. cube says:

I love the official Melania photo. I thinks she’s a beautiful and smart woman. That’s a combination that makes many, male and female, feel inadequate. That’s on them, not me.

  40. About Melania Trump’s official White House photo….So what if she’s wearing a big diamond? Would not we expect that a man as wealthy as Donald Trump would give his wife a ring like that? If people are griping about that, I say: “Sour grapes!”

  41. geeez2014 says:

I’m glad you guys like the Melania official photo, too…and the ring is her wedding ring… if she’d turned the stone inward for the picture, in some kind of humble gesture, the media’d have said “Look! She’s not showing her big diamond like she doesn’t think we know how big it is,” right/

“Sour Grapes,” indeed. Her beauty and intelligence is HERS….and she should be proud of it, and if she makes others feel inadequate, that’s THEIRS, as CUBE says.
