Trump should veto this bill, but it is mainly the congress who is not working for America. I think the bill gives us more ICE agents but no where near enough as I read that each current agent has 10,000 illegals assigned to them. Then he got half of the military $ he was looking for.
And the dems got everything they wanted. Up-check shumner said he couldn’t be happier.

Kid, he may have only gotten half the military $$$ he was looking for, but remember, he is a negotiator and probably anticipated this and doubled the requested amount in the beginning. Trump may be a novice politician but he’s a master in business and negotiating. He didn’t amass his fortune by being stupid or naïve. My money is still on Trump outfoxing them all. And all the static the left is making will only end up hurting them in the end. Folks are tired of all the bickering.

I don’t see the bill as being that bad. After all, the funding is for the remainder of 2017. Let’s wait and see what happens in the fall. Until then, we have enough to worry about.

Through the rejiggered footage, Colbert got Trump to say he wouldn’t touch NAFTA and Medicare — but what about “an unsuspecting woman’s behind”?
“I will touch that,” Trump said in the clip.

I agree that Trump speaking in absolutes, is going to cost him support. He doesn’t have to stoop to politics as usual, just be rational when he speaks. As for the CR, I think Bob is right……every CR to date has been a lukewarm compromise. When [IF] we ever get an actual budget passed…then we can make a decent determination.

CI…of course it’s not the old political satire we’re all mature enough to understand has gone on for years.. Only recently have editing capabilities been used like this….they look real. There are people who won’t know the difference. BIG difference. BIG.
Trump needs to stop speaking entirely…to only read what’s written for him….and stop tweeting. For at least a month. BLOW the media’s MINDS that he doesn’t take their bait. BLOW their minds. Amazing ….. Bob and me said exactly the same thing. This current budget is a head fake until September or October because it was dropped by in his lap by the outgoing of Obama who didn’t get his budget passed. Instead of focusing on what he didn’t get….. I’m looking at all the national security objectives, school choice , defense, the military, border security in the wall, homeland security. I don’t think he’d ever get to defund the baby killers to our every lasting shame.

Did you all hear what Hillary said this morning? When asked if she supported the strikes on Syria, she said yes, she had supported them, but WONDERED IF ANY BACKROOM DEALS WERE DONE. BACKROOM DEALS? Is it so unusual to have deals done behind the scenes when we’re acting on geopolitical situations?
In discussing the Syria strikes Amanpour asked Clinton, “Did the Syria Strike work?”
“I think it’s too soon to really tell.” (Christiane: Did you support it?) “Yes, I did support it. I didn’t publicly support it because that wasn’t my role. But I did support. But I’m not convinced it really made much of a difference and I don’t know what kind of potentially backroom deals were made with the Russians.”

Most of the people covered by ACA who didn’t have insurance before it was enacted are those on MedicAid or catastrophic pre-existing conditions; Planned Parenthood doesn’t even do mammograms; and sanctuary cities are like breeding grounds for the Meso-American Mafia.

Laura Ingraham seems to think this budget is a nightmare and we’re going to be in BIG S*** creek in October because the Dems are going to be emboldened.
She says that Trump wanted to be unconventional but, instead, too much was handed to Republicans, so they handed it to the Dems.
I think she’s right.

My hunch is they will go nuclear option on ALL bills come this fall. Trump will not be able to pass anything otherwise. Thus only needing a 51 votes in the Senate. Bad PR forTrump today. He is not a happy man.
