Trump; should he stop this? And Soros…oh, gad.

I personally wish Trump would STOP THIS STUFF.   Isn’t he BUSY running the country?

I posted this back when it happened but had kept it unpublished………..The reason I bring it out today is to say THIS is the kind of thing I believe Trump MUST STOP.

Or do some of you think this is just fine…… there an upside?    It sure gave the media a great time slamming him again.\

And should Jerod Kushner STOP THIS??   It makes me laugh to read the last paragraph of this very short article, because investor companies aren’t EVIL, as this article implies, but Kushner’s partner was GEORGE SOROS?  Gad, I think I’ll read and watch NOTHING anymore…I am TIRED.  I’m SICK of the whole THING…everybody’s a lying thief.

Have you noticed John Kasich is campaigning already?   It turns my poor stomach when he constantly insists on sounding like Rodney King.  UGH.

Looks like the swamp is so deep, so vast and so wide it resembles the Grand Canyon. And Trump can only use a tablespoon in his attempt to fill it! Impossible.

  2. I have no good answers for Trump. Like you said yesterday, I wish he would just take a hiatus from talking [and Tweeting]. But the example above only gets worse if the below is true:

  3. Imp says:

CI…. there’s no doubt in my mind that Obamas crowds were bigger st his inauguration.
No one in DC worked that day nor in neighboring Maryland and Virginia…, LOL
However I’m pretty damn good with all versions of Adobe photoshop myself. I could add or subtract by cloning any similar image any way I wanted it to come out. It’s a matter of time, technique and patience to get that picture. Remember , these days it’s hard to believe still photographs. Especially the ones that are as controversial as these two are?

  4. I got the impression that the thrust of the article CI linked is that Trump got involved in the hunt for the “retweeter”.
Yeah, like he did anything more than say “Find that guy!”, which I find perfectly reasonable.

  5. Imp says:

Ditto Ed… oh and I left an advisory reply for you over at Kids joint!

  6. Kid says:

Donna Trumps is the only reason I don’t do a merciless attack on Amerlica. I loves him.

“Have you noticed John Kasich is campaigning already? It turns my poor stomach when he constantly insists on sounding like Rodney King. UGH.”

Yes I have and it makes me glad that [he] lost-out. Not only that he would probably never have beaten Shrillary but if he had, I’m afraid that the “SWAMP” would have consumed him from the get-go. I still have faith that Trump is our best bet against that horrible morass!

  8. geeez2014 says:
This was wrong on Trump’s part, too. I think he’s probably getting good advice and acting instead on his own ego and knowledge….it’s not working.
It’ll be an ‘honor’ to meet Kim Jung Un, remember. You know, the guy who could nuke Hawaii out of the water.

RAIN had something to do with the much smaller crowds for Trump. Not much is said about that. Plus, people in D.C. didn’t vote for him…who’d want to go? .they’re all on the dole, working well paying jobs for doing pretty much nothing, not a Republican point of view. But Trump can’t be happy unless HE IS ON TOP.. He WON but he has to have WON the BIGGEST. HE had to have the biggest Patriots attendance at the WH. He just can’t get used to the fact that there are more liked people than HIM. And, frankly, I can’t imagine he was that well liked in his NYC Kingdom of making his own decisions….

Imp; it’s not filling the swamp we need, it’s draining the swamp, right?

I want so badly to like Trump. I did once. It seems like everything he’s doing is about “How will this make ME look?” and that isn’t good for anybody or for America.

  9. Kid says:

I believe the N Korea situation is one that requires Trump to make an attempt at a diplomatic solution even knowing ahead of time it will be a waste of time. If we have to destroy the place, we have to be able to say it was our last option. And with the Asians it is all about saving face, so Trump can’t say he’d meet with him and criticize him at the same time. Similar to meeting with the Chinese PM, taking the strategy of meeting at Mar-a-lago to make the meeting more personal as opposed to a political meeting at the White House was the right thing to do.

Course the crazy fat kid has to agree to stop nuke and missile tests before the meeting could take place.

  10. geeez2014 says:

Kid, I think all that’s understood…but in America we don’t call it an honor to meet a guy who’s never once shown anything but hate and threats, let alone NUCLEAR threats.
It doesn’t matter who the guy is, you can’t criticize and expect them to appear. the crazy fat kid will never agree to stop the tests.
And Trump couldn’t even let this one go. As if it HELPS that he fires back? not at all.

  11. jean worland says:

I about fell out of my chair when I heard that yesterday. What in the world?

  12. geeez2014 says:

Hi, Jean! Honestly, there are so MANY “What in the worlds?” above your comment, which one do you mean? 🙂

  13. Kid says:

Z, I agreee that there won’t be a meeting. Trump? I pretty much ignore the person – He’s definitely a New Yoiker – and simply note the actions and activites. ie. I voted for the Supreme Court and anything else good that happens is gravy. Maybe that’s a unique talent of mine.

  14. Mal says:

On one hand we say he tweets too much, but on the other hand, its what helped him get elected. No one is perfect. I’m with JMB. In the end I still have faith in Trump and that he will prevail.
The left is pushing the Russian hacking card, claiming the buck stops with the President. Well, they’re right. Who was in the WH during the past 8 years leading up to the election last November? They won’t go there, will they?

  15. bocopro says:

I donno . . . several thoughts swirled thru the increasingly dense fog in my mind.

First of all, I genuinely believe that term limits on legislators and age limits on SCotUS justices would improve things exponentially. Politicians would be free, at least in their last term, to vote for what’s in the best interest of the country, not their own re-election.

Then, DJT was elected to pull the plug on Ol’ Swampy and bring a new broom to sweep away the roadblocks and deadwood from health care, taxes, manufacturing, trade, defense, and security. I personally don’t much care if he’s a smartass in doing that. In fact, I welcome a measure of it as fresh air blowing out the stale “that’s how it’s always been done” knee-jerk modus operandi of professional politicians at the federal level.

As for the media, especially broadcast and particularly TV, I’d like to see them all get a massive dose of Milk of Magnesia followed by a major slug of ipecac and a subcutaneous permanent truth-serum delivery system. It’d also be nice if a whole bunch of the talking heads had tonguectomies and their lips nailed shut.

I STILL say shut down the political commentary, the pundit analysis, the steady drumbeat of “Not My President” and BLM and all video coverage of demonstrations, sit-ins, riots, and other “resistance” activities. Just report that “Today in ________ a group of vandals destroyed public and private property because someone said something that offended them” or “A crowd of unruly youths were arrested after causing a disturbance in downtown _______ last night.”

Keep that stuff out of the national news; report it locally and show the destruction, the arrests, the trials, and the imprisonments. Minimize the monkey-see/monkey-do syndrome.

Only sick puppies really like to observe autopsies, and once you’ve seen sausage being made you might not care much for Jimmy Dean any more.

    My dos centavos.

  16. FB says:

Politics and gov are for crooks. Eventually people in there get “crooked.” That’s why it’s important to limit their power drastically. Yes, it’s depressing.

  17. FB says:

Since I’ve immigrated to the US every election is “we’re going to change Washington.” It never happens. At some point we ought to stop believing what they’re telling us. Just for our own sanity.

  18. -FJ says:

    Another “Jon Stewart” news cycle…

  19. geeez2014 says:

Bocopro, this is the best reason for term limits: “…to vote for what’s in the best interest of the country, not their own re-election.” Yes, they MIGHt do that in their last year…IF the lobbyists aren’t paying them off.

FB..Le Pen is going up in the polls…what do you think?

Mal; It’s not just tweeting…it’s the WORDS he uses, the bully, thin skinned BS.

I SO hope to make myself better understood that it is the WORDS, the MANNERISMS!
GOD, today with Abbas, Trump said something like “..this White House wants to make this DEAL, to Arbitrate, to Mediate…BUT I want to abitrate, to mediate”.. I thought “BUT?” What do you mean “BUT”?? You just cringe.
The minute he goes off script now, he usually adds “This I can tell you…” and I know it’s hell to listen to the next lines..,..

Kid, it’s got nothing to do with being a New Yorker…I tease about the accent, the NY stuff, but it’s not that. Not at all.

  20. Kid says:

Well, the new york comment was in relation to the mannerisms and words. Not just new york but being very involved with construction people too. These are not silver tongued devils.

  21. FB says:

I think there’s a lot of apathy towards Macro so if people don’t go vote and some of the Melenchon and Fillon voters vote for her, she has some chances. It’s not good anyway for France. She is a socialist and so nothing will change aside from a tougher stand on immigration. But personally I won’t be happy b/c I want someone who’ll dismantle the French welfare state and the entire “deep State.” (Can keep dreaming on that one.)

  22. Mal says:

Z, I agree its not just his tweeting, but that’s Trump. No one is perfect. I’ll take his coarse talk if it comes with the good results we’re seeing.

  23. geeez2014 says:

    FB..SHE is a socialist, TOO?
(did you know Melenchon’s wife is 24 years older than he and was his teacher in high school? Ooh lala! 🙂

  24. geeez2014 says:

Mal, Good for you! I’d love to feel that way, believe me.

  25. John M. Berger says:

    @ Mal,
“I’ll take his coarse talk if it comes with the good results we’re seeing.”
I’m with you 100%. Thanks, my friend. I think that we’ve been on this since the beginning (same page). My God, [perfect] doesn’t exist any place!

  26. Mal – I’ll take his coarse talk if it comes with the good results we’re seeing.

I can’t get past his pathological lying, but that aside……..not being from New York or that area, it is common for folks from there to use faux-absolutist qualifiers, like “Like you’ve never even seen” or “like you wouldn’t believe”. Or is that just a quirk of Trump’s?

  27. geeez2014 says:

JMB!~ “PERFECT!?” not even CLOSE with Trump.
