There’s so much wrong with THIS ARTICLE I don’t know where to start.
Roger Stone, Trump’s friend and advisor wants to “puke” at the award the Saudis gave Trump. Fine. That’s his choice. But…
“Stone, like many other conservative Trump backers, believes the president may be softening his hardline stand against Islamic terrorism.“ REALLY? So he and others think Trump doesn’t stand hard against Islamic terrorism? WHAT? Did they hear his speech in Saudi Arabia?
“Stone also said that Trump should have demanded that the Saudis pay for the 9/11 attack on the United States. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers of 9/11 were Saudi nationals. No evidence has ever been presented that the Saudi government was behind the attacks.“ So, Trump’s supposed to say “Look, King, we have no evidence, but you have to PAY”??
Then the author talks about how Trump ‘bowed’ to the King of Saudi Arabia, even though he’d criticized Obama for bowing. The author apparently didn’t see the event or he’d know Trump bowed because he’s about a foot taller than the King who was trying to put something around his neck, not bowing to the Muslim King like Obama did.
The article also says “Stone is the latest staunch Trump supporter who has recently had harsh words for the president. Conservative commentator Ann Coulter last week said Trump has a “grotesque personality”….
Yup…..the media’s swimming with good news about Trump, isn’t it? I am EXTREMELY disappointed with him, too, but I’d never say anything close to these things in public if anybody listened to me, and the media WILL listen to anybody who knows Trump and has an unkind word to say.
THIS REALLY BUGGED ME! Imagine how tired Trump is and he says in Israel “We just got back from the Middle East…from Saudi Arabia…and..,” so the press is all over his not understanding what subcontinent he’s on…..“It would be nice if the president of the United States was required to pass a basic geography test. But it’s clear that, if such a test existed, Donald Trump would not be president” Nice, huh? I’ve had travel schedules where I didn’t know if I was coming or going and Mr. Z would go directly into meetings upon our landing after 12 hour flights. Okay, he probably never gaffed but I SURE COULD HAVE!
ALSO….I keep hearing “What Trump’s doing now is just a CONTINUATION of what Obama and even Bush started….” Yes, we saw how well Obama did in Egypt, then about the Israeli/Palestinian situation, right? We saw how Obama couldn’t even say the words Islamic Terrorism, etc…..
I think it’s wise just to STOP LISTENING TO THE MEDIA…EITHER SIDE, Left or Right……..now what?

Juan Williams just said there’s little support for a 2-state solution in Israel….No. Every Israeli I know says their Israeli friends want ANYTHING that MIGHT bring peace. he’s just plain WRONG. My Israeli friends also think their friends are dead WRONG because THEY KNOW, as WE know, that peace won’t come just for that. I hope I’m wrong.

I usually find the FOX ladies on OUTNUMBERED pretty smart, but they’re talking about Trump coming out after the meeting he’s having now with Netanyahu as if Trump’s going to announce PEACE today. THAT is FUNNY. Right..he’s coming out and saying “We have peace between Muslims and Jews….thanks, everybody…..tweets to follow!” (Sarc)

I see Trump’s visit as:
– good for America jobs and economy
– had the ME setup that financial thing to put the hurt on terrorist money
– Had talks with some oif the attendees heads of state and got a commitment to fight terror
– Has a lot of muslms involved n fighting terror rather than sitting on the sidelines
– Has made a very clear construct in that states will now visibly participate or call themselves out as not caring abot or supporting terror.
– Best foot forward
– Ball in their court

Stopped listening to news on any channel other than OAN months ago ‘cause all it did was aggravate my hypertension and make me wonder why I permit the stuff in my house via coax or telephone wire or satellite dish or whatever.
Unsurprisingly, your post parallels my daily rant, which deals with celebs becoming shills for weight-loss programs, precious-metals hoarding, and so on. It picks specifically on Marie Osmond (whom I consider quite beautiful but disappointing) and William Devane, who at 80 is much better looking than I am, but only because of his wealth and the magicians in his makeup trailer.
The title of the e-mail rant is “leeches, lice, liars, and mice; parasites all, ethics awol.”
Far too many “journalists” today have prostituted themselves exactly as Osmond and Devane have done, so like celebs cashing in on name recognition and cosmetic wizardry, I have no use for 95% of what passes as “news” these days.

Osmond…well, she’s helped SO MANY People with Nutrisystem, I can’t be too angry.
What bugs me is that starving actors and actresses used to get ads and now it’s only those who don’t need the money doing TV work, voice-over work, etc. That bugs me.

I heard my granddaughter say he’s 80 and she doesn’t like him ’cause he looks too much like John McCain, whom she considers a treacherous RINO.
According to his bio, Devane was born in early Sep ’37. So he’ll turn 80 in about 100 days.
As for Marie, she’s one of those ladies who got better lookin as she got older, but check her out without makeup and you can see that she benefits from complimentary makeup, complementary colors, and comfortable lighting in those infomercials. NO WAY those bovine lips are natural.
I would, of course, volunteer to check her for ticks if the opportunity arose. She’s pretty close to my image of a dream girl . . . for a haoli chick.
Still don’t like snake-oil salesmen and 3-card-monte hustlers, tho, no matter how good they look.

Social Media is FRANTICALLY THRILLED with the info I put above, that Melania may have swatted away Trump’s hand when they were walking from the plane in Israel. It looked like that to me, too, but I think now it COULD BE that he’d turned around to say “You okay?” and she indicated “Sure, go ahead…”
See what you guys think…. My husband might have looked back just to make sure I’m fine in a situation like that….we weren’t huge hand holders , not all the time, and not in business situations, usually………so…anybody want to weigh in?

Hand holding is one of the things I miss the most since Mr. Z died…….we did, but not to show how much we loved each other…and I know that’s not why you do, either, CI.
We did at moments you’d least expect it…and traveling, sometimes, just to make sure I kept up with my 6’2″, fast-walking husband! I’m 5’9″ and can haul, but in crowded airports, we stayed connected 🙂

Not sure I know what that means. I’m 77 and all I ever wear is Wranglers and Ts, and the Ts all have social commentary and artwork on ’em (’cause my wife ‘n’ kids ‘n’ grandkids buy ’em for me for b-days and Christmas gifts).
My wife, who’s 79, prefers spandex leggings for virtually ALL occasions. Fortunately she’s got the pins for it. In fact, she looks downright dowdy in most dresses. Still keeps her hair in bangs and ponytail, too. No objections from me on that.
I think I put on a tie once last year, for jury duty, and once this year, for a funeral (pallbearer). Never have quite bought into the idea of wrappin a cord around my neck and jerkin a knot in it. Had to do it for many years in the Navy, but never quite saw the logic in it.

Everybody’s different….there should be no ‘hard and fast’ rule, although my British business partner used to see older women in too short skirts, for example, and call them “Mutton dressed as lamb.” I think it’s a sense some have…
Also, sometimes it’s a matter of genes, ethnicity, etc. SO many black women I am close with look younger than our white friends…just great skin, tighter, firmer, etc.
I’m not sure I was right about Marie and young clothing…she dresses in good taste…I see her a lot on QVC selling NutriSystem…..I guess the hair and makeup just seems ‘too much,’ but….what do I really care? She pulls the hair close around her face most of the time….if I’d spent that much on plastic surgery, I’d be wearing MY hair in a pony tail!

Lerner is scheduled to show up in a non-public testimony session in Congress at some point in the near future.
Women should wear what they feel comfortable with without embarassing themselves, while still projecting the feminine alure. (Hey I’m a guy)
At this point, I’m also interested in women who show some lines of maturity and experinece on their face. The picture bocopro posted of the white haired lady comes close for me too (The large pic, not the smaller thumbnail). I can’t understand why someone over say 40 would be interested in a 22 yr old. Or someone over 60 interested in anything under 45 or so, though she doesn’t have to be younger than me either.

No guilt here. I paid into that system for years and years. Never had occasion to see any docs except for routine physicals while on active naval service, and the occasional scratch or scrape. Paid but never took any benefits ’til I was around 60. Then I had a fairly serious MI, most of which was paid for by TriCare and MediCare. Think I spent around $3K out of pocket, tops. Figure I earned it.
Did get a double inguinal at the Navy Hospital a few years back, no charge. MediCare would’ve paid most of that, ’cause I was over 65 at the time, but the Navy did it all with no cost to me — same payer, I reckon: Uncle Sugar.
Chief surgeon was a tiny little female O-6, and all the backups, nurses, and technicians on the team (7 in all) were female, except for the anaesthesiologist — a big, lanky Navy Commander who thanked me profusely for not being fat and for being in reasonable good physical condition and a non-smoker — said it made his job MUCH easier.

And that king never bothered to meet O either…he made him go to His Majesty. All President TRUMP did was to bend his knees so that the frail old man could hang that 20 pounds of gold worth 100K at least on him.
