Students…..Up on politics or up on their teachers’ agendas?

Is THIS STORY really about the rights of students to peacefully protest even in this rather small way,  who’ve been congratulated by their school superintendent, who says “We are proud of all of our students, who exercised their rights and chose whether or not to participate for their own individual reasons” or is it about a group of kids who’ve been indoctrinated to one political agenda and one way of behavior and who have not learned to be respectful when meeting a servant of the government?

I shudder to think what my folks would have done had I done this when I was in school.  I laugh when I realize I’m pretty sure nobody I knew in junior or senior high school even knew the name of the Speaker of the House at the time, nor cared what he had to say.  Nor knew our teacher’s politics.  Even in college, frankly.

So, is this a STUDENT RIGHT or just a way for administration and teachers to register THEIR liberal displeasure via duped kids?  Or is it a legitimate situation where fifteen year olds should be encouraged to show how they feel as they refuse to be photographed with or to meet Paul Ryan?

What do you think?  What kind of future citizens does this prophecy for America?

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” – Vladimir Lenin

  2. Well, there’s your answer.

  3. Adrienne says:

I find this whole episode to be despicable behavior by the parents who encouraged this behavior from their children.

  4. John M. Berger says:

“is it about a group of kids who’ve been indoctrinated to one political agenda”

YES! What else could it be?

Kudos to Trump for pulling us out of the Climate Change scam!

  5. bunkerville says:

What a waste of money and time by all concerned. No doubt our Federal bucks are supporting their attendance as well as the college.

  6. Mustang, is dead on. Their are the culprits in this incident. The teacher is the enabler. Teachers at liberal schools are some of the worst. Indoctrination not education.

  7. geeez2014 says:

JMB: That’s the rumor…this decision is “expected.” I’m disappointed in Tillerson that he wants him to stay IN.
“what else could it be?” My statement is rhetorical…and why I said I was oblivious at that age, weren’t you!?

Mustang…and then there is this: Proverbs 22 “6 Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Too bad good faith training isn’t happening in our country’s churches, affecting our children like it used to. And look how our kids are going to hell in a handbag today…so many of them. Porn, greed, entitlement, etc.

    Adriennne, yup.

  8. geeez2014 says:

I need to stop being quite so rhetorical…my questions weren’t actually questions.

Law and Order….HOW could it be anything else BUT indoctrination?

  9. geeez2014 says:

KATHY GRIFFIN has ‘apologized’….with this statement:
“I sincerely apologize,” says Griffin. “I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny. I get it.”

I don’t know why her words seem like a “Sorry if it offended some people” more than a legitimate, respectful apology.

  10. geeez2014 says:

Kathy Griffin “… didn’t enjoy having to “watch this idiot (Trump speech to Congress in March) for an hour and nine minutes” say “one hateful thing after another.”
“I’m a big resister and I don’t believe in compromise with this president. I also think he’s crazy, I think he’s mentally ill. He’s also an idiot.”

“At the Emmy Awards: “I guess hell froze over,” Griffin announced. “A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this. He had nothing to do with this. … Suck it, Jesus! This award is my god now.”
Griffin also kissed the crotch of CNN’s Anderson Cooper during a live New Year’s Eve broadcast as 2012 was becoming 2013.”

Time to stop criticizing for this poor woman and start praying for her. somehow!

  11. Mustang says:

    Griffin is merde …

  12. Kid says:

Parents and teachers desperate for future democrat voters are indoctrinating. I’m with you Z, the only politician’s name I knew prior to turning 18 or so was JFK, and that’s because he rode in his bubble car a block and a half from my house when I was about 9 or 10.

Mustang, Yep. “Your kids will grow up Communist” – Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev

Griffin is ignorant beyond description. No doubt has mental problems.
I hope she stays on at CNN and keeps it up. She may drive some liberals away from the left.

  13. John M. Berger says:

Re: My comment on “Climate Change”,
Perhaps I jumped-the-gun a bit so I’ll amend it to say: Kudos to Trump [if] he follows-through with his campaign promise to pull us out of this scam. I maintain that the cost of [attempting] to change [alleged] anthropogenic “Climate Change” would far exceed such then if we just adapt to this gradual phenomenon, occurring naturally since the formation of this planet.

  14. Kid says:

JMB – Exactly, Embrace the Change ! Think of what it would do for jobs and the economy to rebuild alonside new coastal areas. 🙂

  15. News reports have CNN firing Griffin.

  16. John, I’m with you. The only way anything is getting down is by Trump. The Repubs always talk a good game, but they have no game. They want the press to love them and will do anything to win their favor. It reminds me of the pathetic displays by Chris Christie for Springsteen and Jerry Jones to love him, when everyone else knows they’re making fun of him. McCain wants Trump to fail so badly he’ll take the party down with him. He’ll get his Sunday Morning fixes. Pathetic.

  17. Mal says:

Yesterday the news mentioned Evergreen College in Olympia, Washington and is the only one in the U.S. that is 100% liberal. We are familiar with the college because we lived there for 16 years before moving to Vegas. The city is now run by its alumni and making stupid rules. I could tell you many examples of the damage they’ve done and continue to do. It is also where all my children now live and where we will be needing to move in the near future so we can be looked after…….and believe me, we’re not looking forward to it. I took an evening coast guard course there in the 1990’s and have to say it is a beautiful layout. Its just the mindset of the college I can’t stand.

  18. I’d say Antioch College in Ohio, is right up there with Evergreen. Not that there’s much daylight between several these Leftist thought camps.

  19. Mal says:

Probably so, CI. They’re all over the country. These are just the ones we’re familiar with. How we let them take over our institutions of higher education w/o a fight I still don’t understand! And its probably not limited to colleges as we’re seeing more of this in the public schools, too.

  20. geeez2014 says:

Just heard Griffin is not going to be working for CNN New Year’s Eve night…gee, what WILL she do without the opportunity to kiss Anderson Cooper’s zipper? Oh, well, she’ll have to think of something else. (gad)

CI and Mal, sadly, Evergreen and Antioch are only two of the very lib colleges and unis in America….Evergreen is the school whose leftwing professor (big Bernie supporter) said he’s shocked at this:

that’s NOTHING compared to what’s going on in so many schools…but I like it when leftwing profs are sitting up and noticing the STUPIDITY, the TRUE fascism, …tho that’s a word I hate to play around with.

Kid…Ditto and YES on all you said! I really think more and more of these nutty leftwing things ARE driving people from the left. I’m a little sad that Fox is going down a bit in the ratings and CNN up….hopefully, that’ll stop.

JMB: this is just yet ANOTHER instance where, if Trump DOES pull out (and he’d DAMNED well better if he wants to keep ANY base at all), he needs to have someone (not HIM) articulately and scientifically explain WHY and remind America and the world that it’s not like America’s going to suddenly start spewing crap into the water and atmosphere or stop recycling, etc….SOMEONE needs to assure people we’re ON the care of the planet but WILL NOT continue to destroy businesses because of emissions, etc…we’ll figure out how to heal the earth without killing our economy!
But, that won’t happen and Trump’ll just be MORE hated, and maybe even by Republican tree huggers. I AM a tree hugger but not an extremist.

  22. geeez2014 says:

Now the whole Kathy Griffin thing is FOX’s fault and the Fox “snowflakes” need to suck it up.

By the way, they also need to get rid of the adorable and charming Ainsley Earhardt.

  23. I cannot improve on what my dear friend Mustang pointed out in his comment:

“Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” – Vladimir Lenin

Public schools and institutions of “higher learning” are Leftist indoctrination centers. Please see Higher Education?, my blog post today.

  24. Adrienne,
    Yes, the parents, too.

Then add the media on top of the combination of Leftist teachers + Leftist parents. The result? Leftist young people.

As students must regurgitate Leftist statements and ideas, over time these students’ neural pathways are sealed.

The younger students are when they must regurgitate, the more impossible it is to undo these neural pathways.

  25. Z,
Now the whole Kathy Griffin thing is FOX’s fault and the Fox “snowflakes” need to suck it up.

  26. geeez2014 says:
    AOW…yup. It’s FOX’s fault. 🙂

AOW,.. also……..sometimes I look at liberal profs and students at universities and how they’re something like 90% lib (at least the profs have polled that way) and I wonder “Wait, if this is a place of higher learning and new ideas, things to consider, don’t they SEE WHAT THEY ARE? Don’t they ask themselves ‘how can we all think the same thing, have the same opinions? That’s not thinking!’..” Seriously….
I know this sounds a little wacky, but sometimes I get bored or feel stifled when I’m with a lot of people who are only Conservatives…. I just do. Thankfully, for example, my large bible study is NOT…we don’t talk politics, but you can tell from little inferences here and there………I’m a little surprised they’re all not cons. but I kind of like that we’re all true THINKERS, not the SHEEP university types are.

  27. Baysider says:

    Mustang +3.
I wonder what the supe would have said had the students done this with Barack Obama? [Insert sounds of silence]

  28. Kid says:

One thought from this. This situation with the kids is more the parent’s fault than the teacher’s fault.

  29. Kid says:

Check this one out. Yea, it’s more of the same……

Some students said the fake petition made them struggle with feelings that they do not belong at Davidson, while others aggressively attacked the video, calling it “oppressive,” “illegally filmed,” and “inflammatory bullsh*t,” according to a video of the April 27 teach-in on Facebook.

  30. geeez2014 says:

Kid, not sure. I think it depends on the kids and the parents. I know SO many good solid cons. parents with liberal kids from schooling…

  31. geeez2014 says:

“Chelsea Clinton doesn’t know how she’ll explain Pres Trump to her children”

  32. How would she explain their grandfather and his sexual activities to them?

  33. geeez2014 says:

    ED, GREAT point!

  34. geeez2014 says:

Ed. they were talking on Fox tonight about how Hillary’s still playing the blame game, the ‘conspiracy theory’ story she started when Bill was with Monica, tho Hillary apparently knew before the world did….”it’s the rightwingers’ lies…” Now it’s a million reasons she’s not Mrs. President..except the truth that she ran a lousy campaign and proved herself to be irresponsible with security!

  35. And a cackler to boot!

  36. Kid says:

I hate even seeing the beast’s name in print, but in this case I’ll give it a pass. That she is still cackling about the election means it has to be keeping the beast up at night. I can’t complain about that.

  37. John M. Berger says:

“How would she explain their grandfather and his sexual activities to them?”
Well yes, but then again just [who] is their [real] grandfather?
