Is THIS STORY really about the rights of students to peacefully protest even in this rather small way, who’ve been congratulated by their school superintendent, who says “We are proud of all of our students, who exercised their rights and chose whether or not to participate for their own individual reasons” or is it about a group of kids who’ve been indoctrinated to one political agenda and one way of behavior and who have not learned to be respectful when meeting a servant of the government?
I shudder to think what my folks would have done had I done this when I was in school. I laugh when I realize I’m pretty sure nobody I knew in junior or senior high school even knew the name of the Speaker of the House at the time, nor cared what he had to say. Nor knew our teacher’s politics. Even in college, frankly.
So, is this a STUDENT RIGHT or just a way for administration and teachers to register THEIR liberal displeasure via duped kids? Or is it a legitimate situation where fifteen year olds should be encouraged to show how they feel as they refuse to be photographed with or to meet Paul Ryan?
What do you think? What kind of future citizens does this prophecy for America?

I don’t know why her words seem like a “Sorry if it offended some people” more than a legitimate, respectful apology.

I maintain that the cost of [attempting] to change [alleged] anthropogenic “Climate Change” would far exceed such then if we just adapt to this gradual phenomenon, occurring naturally since the formation of this planet.

They want the press to love them and will do anything to win their favor. It reminds me of the pathetic displays by Chris Christie for Springsteen and Jerry Jones to love him, when everyone else knows they’re making fun of him. McCain wants Trump to fail so badly he’ll take the party down with him. He’ll get his Sunday Morning fixes. Pathetic.

Yesterday the news mentioned Evergreen College in Olympia, Washington and is the only one in the U.S. that is 100% liberal. We are familiar with the college because we lived there for 16 years before moving to Vegas. The city is now run by its alumni and making stupid rules. I could tell you many examples of the damage they’ve done and continue to do. It is also where all my children now live and where we will be needing to move in the near future so we can be looked after…….and believe me, we’re not looking forward to it. I took an evening coast guard course there in the 1990’s and have to say it is a beautiful layout. Its just the mindset of the college I can’t stand.

AOW,.. also……..sometimes I look at liberal profs and students at universities and how they’re something like 90% lib (at least the profs have polled that way) and I wonder “Wait, if this is a place of higher learning and new ideas, things to consider, don’t they SEE WHAT THEY ARE? Don’t they ask themselves ‘how can we all think the same thing, have the same opinions? That’s not thinking!’..” Seriously….
I know this sounds a little wacky, but sometimes I get bored or feel stifled when I’m with a lot of people who are only Conservatives…. I just do. Thankfully, for example, my large bible study is NOT…we don’t talk politics, but you can tell from little inferences here and there………I’m a little surprised they’re all not cons. but I kind of like that we’re all true THINKERS, not the SHEEP university types are.
