HURRAH! President Trump did an excellent job explaining WHY he’s taken America out of the Paris Accord. Of course, Shep Smith of Fox and Jake Tapper and his gang at CNN are dwelling on the fact that “America is now in alliance with Nicaragua and Syria.” Ya, I’m sure Trump pulled out so he could make nice with Nicaragua and Syria, right? (Sarc)
I loved when he invited Democrats to put a better deal together (tho I feel there should be no deal, ideologically), saying “If obstructionists want to get together with me, let’s make them NONobstructionists.”
He, quite well, explained WHY he’s leaving this accord and another thing he said in 30 minutes was the following in one sentence: “We are America and we don’t get pushed around paying for others to spend our money when we see no results and nobody else is helping, anyway.” LOVED that. I also liked EPA Pruitt’s talk afterwards…made good points.
My problem with this is that he didn’t really kick back hard on the global climate change ideology, which kind of surprised me. He said a few things about it but, basically, it was all about MONEY…He also might as well have said “I agree with the premise that this world’s climate is going to hell in a handbag but we don’t want to pay for fixing it.” Which kind of bugged me.
Here is the picture a photographer decided was the catch of the whole 30 minutes; Trump holding his fingers together to show, I think it was, how little the temps are going to go up, or something…so, they shoot this and publish it…When he did it, I’d thought “Oh, no….that’s going to go down in history..” Sure enough:
HERE is Obama’s call to arms by those who disagree with Trump…ever the community organizer, urging cities and companies to ignore Trump and keep going.
HERE IS THE RUB: Trump isn’t turning from the Paris Agreement and telling all Americans “So dirty up the water! Emit into the air! Let’s get this country DIRTY AGAIN! HURRAH!” So, since that’s very clearly NOT what Trump said, why these tweets?
Leftists just don’t understand…….
And Trump MUST stop saying “Thank you, thank you…” when he speaks. He is not Liberace.

Yes, it was…very good. And he got in the type of things I’ve been wishing he’d get in….how it’s good for us and WHY and HOW and what a TINY bit of help this stupid thing was going to be, anyhow…but I am sorry he just didn’t diss it entirely; I guess he really couldn’t.
And he didn’t slam the Dems like a kid on a schoolyard as he usually does…he said “we’ll make obstructionists become NONobstructionists if they want to join us”.. WELL said.
Interesting to see Priebus and Bannon, who the media assures us hate each other, sitting next to each other and agreeing to something one of them said 🙂

Climate change is real. It’s as real as sun cycles and ice ages. And it’s been going on for a couple billion years . . . WITHOUT HUMANS. So it’s not anthropogenic, and it’s just a bit presumptuous of humans to believe they can influence it by more than a percentage point or half a degree celsius in a century by returning to the Neolithic Age.

No one disagrees with protecting the environment and having clean air & water, etc. including Trump. He ended by saying we well have that. He just wants a level playing field. Those of us that lived and drove the freeways in So. Calif. in the 60’s & 70’s saw and felt the choking smog in our eyes and throats, then how much better it got after having unleaded gas and catalytic converters installed on all cars, this despite the population explosion during that time so pollution is real but its gotta make sense. Trump is just living up to his promises and doing the right thing.

I think that I made my position clear on this issue yesterday. We just avoided, perhaps, the biggest scam in history. I only hope that Trump can maintain his almost incredible stamina as he continues honoring his campaign promises and with “draining the swamp”.

For what it may be worth I think that the DOW hit a record today. I’ll be anxious to see what it does tomorrow. The Liberals say that pulling the plug on this “Agreement” (what I call a scam) will hurt our economy. Does anyone know why? To be brief, I now am compelled to object most strenuously to actions which would result in John Kerry s appointment to any high-level position representing the United States. While I cannot object to the right of the citizens of Massachusetts to repeatedly renew his unjustifiable membership in our national legislature, as is their prerogative, I most certainly can question their good taste and judgment in doing so.
To me, John Kerry is a poseur, an opportunist, a fraud, a posturer, a prevaricator, a flip-flopper, a flake, and a weasel who at the very least should have been prosecuted for lying to Congress if not for sedition.
