And some would call me too ideological to think Mueller would hire only people who have defended the Clinton Foundation and given money to the DNC, but, you know? I don’t think so. I am TIRED of acquiescing because it sounds crazy to think people are that crooked. They seem to be absolutely that crooked and, because Republicans have usually remained quiet on so many issues, we’re losing.
The other day, I said that if Trump fired Mueller I’d be DONE WITH TRUMP. Now, I’m not at all sure. What I DO know is that the word’s out that it would be suicide for him to do it….was that ‘trumped’ up by leftwing media? A set up so he can’t fire Mueller?
See, what I’D do is have the White House announce who’s on Mueller’s team, just saying they feel it’s important they inform all Americans that Mr. Mueller has been what they think is imprudent in his decisions, and pretty obviously, leaning LEFT. But, then, could Mueller and these people come down harder in their investigation because the WH did this? OY. SO, perhaps they could say nothing about the person, but just list the facts:
Joe Shmow….$5,000 to the DNC, defended Clinton Foundation, (etc)
(Also, why does everybody call Robert Mueller Robert MOLLER? It’s MUUUUUELLER. That’s as dumb as newscasters saying CUTTER for QATAR, which is pronounced KAHTAHR!)
Ah, well…………..
SO, what about ROBERT MUELLER and WHO HE’S HIRED? Not ONE Republican, not ONE pro-Trump lawyer but plenty of Democrats.

I’d go with your idea. List the people and their affiliation and previous actions (like defending the clinton machine) It seems in the end though they’ll need to come up with indisputable evidence – or not.

Kid, I was very disappointed to read the pedigrees on Mueller’s team, it’s almost a ‘Screw you” to the Right, no doubt about it. Not one Conservative…doesn’t bode for an honest investigation, though we all hope that people like this can just look at facts.
Recent history shows that’s not usually the case.

I had dinner with my friend who worked for Ronald Reagan last night at her house….
Talk about a TRUE REPUBLICAN….loves this country SO much and is devastated by what she’s seeing happen. Hoping Trump gets work done and pleased with the things that ARE going well.
She told this cute story and I thought I’d pass it on;
She was in charge of ambassadorships, always presenting to Mr. Reagan three choices for each open position in a particular country…and each choice had pedigrees she highlighted..with the pros and cons. She selected actor John Gavin for Mexico because he spoke fluent Spanish , as did his wife, and seemed a good pick for the position for many reasons which she listed. One ‘con’ she highlighted was this: “Mr. President, Jack Gavin’s having been an actor for many years, isn’t impressing the Mexican people in the government too much. They feel the American ambassador should have a bit more government/politics in his background in order to do a good job for them. They feel he might not be suitable.”
She got a note back that she’s kept all these years, though “I wasn’t supposed to… but I had to keep this one…” (I have a feeling she’s kept a LOT) The note said something like;
“My dear Wendy, I believe it’s less uncommon now for actors to take part in the political world. Some of them make quite a success of it!”
She said she’d not thought about it before, she was so used to serving him as president, and had a good laugh, feeling a little horrified at what she’d written!
She did say he had a terrific sense of humor.
Another time she walked into a White House event where she’d been asked to host a table of Senator’s wives, and Nancy Reagan’s personal assistant took one look at her and said “Mrs Reagan is wearing that same suit today” Wendy said, “well, she LIVES here, she needs to change…I can’t leave now!” So the secretary called up to Mrs. R and Nancy changed!
After the event, Mrs. R said “Wendy, I love your taste in clothes” and that became a kind of running joke the rest of their years as friends…Mrs. R would pull her over and say things like “I don’t have THAT dress…I like it” etc.

CI and Mal….none of us enjoys this…sadly, it’ll go on for a very, very long time…as long as they can make this administration open to awful suspicions….some of which they’ve brought on themselves. Leaks are rampant and we need to get used to that, too…more and more exposed, or lied about..who knows which?
I STILL ask, and nobody in the media’s mentioned it, why a very liberal CNN contributor said the other night “One of my close SOURCES IN THE WEST WING told me…”
A close source in the west wing? If a close source is leaking to liberal journalists, or ANY journalists, that person needs to go because they’re not trustworthy.
I believe a president deserves loyalty until there’s something so egregious that person needs to go to authorities….not the press

My friend Wendy was in Washington in February and saw many old WH friends, many still very connected with Intel, the WH, etc.
She said BEFORE all these senate hearings started,, etc., that she heard VERY frequently and disconcertingly that THE PEOPLE AT THE FBI ARE DEMORALIZED BY COMEY AND MORALE’S NEVER BEEN WORSE.
Yes, the FBI 2nd in command just testified that wasn’t true.
I don’t believe it for a second….because we’d all heard disgruntled agents were talking, too.

I think Trump and/or the repubs should complain about out. Don’t think he should fire Mueller though and pick someone else. That would leave the whole thing open forever.

Let’s face it Ms. Z…the media we know about, 98% of federal workers, civil servants unions in DC are all heavy Dems. The sites, the kool kids on K street, George town is full of dopey eyed congressional groupies, tree huggers, recent starry eyed save the world… newly graduated GWU inexperienced kids….the aviable pool for cons lies at the bottom of the Chesapeake bay I’d think. And the signs on the congressional doors says now hiring…”No Christians, No Conservatives, NoT Party, No Joe Plumber types. Just those who are told what to think. Depressing, frustrating and an inner rage that needs quenching from millions of middle American.But they’ll hate the dopes that think the civil war started in1955 and fought by us and Germany.

I think if Mueller had one ounce of integrity, he should recuse himself, Unfortunately, he doesn’t even have 0.125 ounces of integrity (i.e. 1/8th of an ounce) and I’m being generous, so I’d be surprised f he does. We’ll have to see what happens in our interesting times.
