The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost,
Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration,
politics without God, heaven without hell.
William Booth
“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.”
― William Saroyan
The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill
Ignorance is not an opinion, liberals
I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

The moody, self-recriminating Hamlet sums it all up quite neatly for R & G when he tells them he considers Denmark a prison.
Rosencrantz says, “We think not so, my lord.”
And Hamlet responds, “Why, then, ‘tis none to you, for there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” IOW, it’s all in your mind.
I’ve worked FOR homosexuals, WITH gender-confused individuals, and had lesbians work for me as their division officer. My oldest grandson is completely asexual – no interest whatever in intimate relationships of any kind. Another is bi, but considers making an issue of it to be rude and annoying.
I can’t honestly say that I don’t care, because I feel they may wind up missing out on some satisfying and rewarding experiences. Could be that they’re just more enlightened than I . . . donno.
I will say this, tho: a DNA check on Manning will come up male every time, and one on Bono will prove out female, no matter how they feel or think or act or want.
Our political correctness and idiosyncratic permissiveness already have resulted in same-sex marriages, children with two mommies, and a Canadian law criminalizing gender pronoun misuse.

How far down the pike can be lawful incest, bestiality, troilism, bigamy/polyandry, and all manner of fetishes?
And anyone who would do that to a dog needs to be publicly stripped, caned, and pilloried.

In a world with no absolutes, there can be no right or wrong, except as Bocopro references Hamlet, thinking makes it so.
So there WOULD be a right or wrong depending on your perspective, but we may not agree.
Killing 6 million Jews might be a good thing. Killing all Muslims might be a good thing.
Killing all “intolerant” Christians, also. Killing babies.
Literally, I thank God for His perspective. a fixed standard proven by fulfilled prophecy.
How close minded of me.

How do these foolish people end up with more money than brains? Surely these procedures are costly not to mention painful to your pet.

Mustang is right…..dogs have a sense of themselves and even just a shorter haircut can lead them to hide for a while. This poor dog??
Bocopro and Ed, how far will this go, indeed….talk about heading down a rabbit hole!
Kid, Cube, Bunkerville: I’m starting to think robots have a right to win over humans at this point! 🙂
JMB, that the guy called his dog’s vagina ‘disgusting’ helped me see why he thought his dog needed a sex change….it seems more for him than the animal.
FJ: I think PETA folks are mostly libs, not all, of course, but they’d probably be all for it. amazing

Well, if PETA’s NOT protesting this, I call shenanigans!

You’re right – hard to believe. I was half expecting to see THE ONION at the link. As for PETA, they would rather see no pet ownership. Do not want people diddling with animals’ natural state. Least that’s the story of one PETA leader I heard interviewed.

Baysider…no pet ownership; do they want pets freely roaming for food and water and comfort?
Boy, if that isn’t a liberal point of view !! LET THEM FREEEE! (oh, that doesn’t work because they die..oh):-)

Maybe PETA would be taken seriously if they said something sane.
Maybe SPCA would be taken seriously if they didn’t run 5 minute tear jerker commercials trying to tell us they need money to stop animal abuse. As in how would they do that actually.

“attacks against Muslims have been on a worldwide increase. In January, a white nationalist opened fire on an Islamic cultural center in Quebec City, Canada, killing six people and wounding nearly 20. In the same month, the Islamic Center of Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, was destroyed by a fire in what authorities called a hate crime and another mosque was burned to the ground. Last year, nearly 100 mosques were attacked in Germany and dozens across Europe have been targeted by arsonists this year.”
Gee…is anyone surprised except the Brits that their open arms, love, hugs, flowers, singing, candles and coexist bumper stickers aren’t having that warm and fuzzy PC affect?

When we were in Naval Training Center Great Lakes back in the mid 70s, I played golf with a guy who drove around a millionaire philanthropist about once a week.
The rich guy would buy up basketballs or footballs or baseball mitts and bats, whatever was in season, and go find a bunch of kids playing without good equipment and just throw it out for ’em. He said on some weekends the guy gave out more than a hundred basketballs along with rims and backboards where replacements were needed.
He also bought up bundles of clothing that were overstocked by department stores and donated it to orphanages and shelters.
And not forgetting the furry guys, he had one of his flunkies get sausages and hot dogs and other meats that were past their sell-by dates and give it to animal shelters and housing kennels. Nice touch, IMO.
Oh, and there was another guy at the time who set up scholarships for any kids in the Chicago area who graduated from high school with a C+ or better GPA, had never been arrested, were drug free, and had never been pregnant. Paid all fees and tuition plus books, as I recall. Don’t remember anything about room and board. Scholarships were all for schools in the local area.
I think there was a guy in Detroit or someplace doin the same thing about that time.

It’s horribly sad but too painful to watch that often as it plays….and makes me not want to help, which is BAD

Z, Plus that ad is full of lies as well. Like they show a cat with scratches all over the top of its head. No human caused that. That’s a classic cat fight injury. When in battle, they put their ears down and bow. Except for a couple I’ve seen in vids that stand up on the back legs with front paws hanging down like Whactha gonna do furball? Bring it.

I have always wondered about the sexual preferences of animals, especially dogs. We used to have two miniature dachshunds who were aged about two years apart, One day the younger wiener bit the older wiener’s wiener, and the chase/fight started. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen.
However, after reflecting on the wienie circus, I came to the conclusion that even if there were gay dogs our younger canine was not gay, just stupid. His name was Sam, and Sam was undoubtedly the dumbest hound I have ever seen. He was my daughter’s lap puppy, and he never barked or growled at us. He was a good dog, and who knows or cares if he had homosexual tendencies?
