First of a list of Trump’s Accomplishments…so far..

I rec’d this email and thought I should post it in pieces since the list is so long.  Tomorrow I’ll have more:

You can thank this person, apparently, because this was at the top of the email:  H/T:  Kim Soderquist.    (whoever she is)

**THIS LIST WOULD EVEN BE INCREDIBLE IF IT COVERED HIS WHOLE EIGHT YEARS!!!**

PRESIDENT TRUMP’S 1st SIX MONTH ACCOMPLISHMENTS LIST Due to all of the negative media reports, especially the fake news, we should take time to realize just how many things President Trump has accomplished in less than six months!  Here we go! . . .

*  On the same day as his inauguration, Trump filed for re-election in 2020, breaking the political norm, giving him a head start on campaigning, and giving him additional legal freedoms and flexibility.

* Signed the first major national pro-life bill in more than a decade.

*  Vice President Mike Pence became the first vice president in United States history to speak at the annual March for Life march in Washington D.C. Additionally, Trump senior advisor Kellyanne Conway also spoke at the event, and Trump himself strongly expressed his support for the march.

*. Neil Gorsuch confirmed as Justice on the Supreme Court *Brilliant Cabinet picks

*. SCOTUS upheld most of the travel ban Executive Order:
SCOTUS sent orders to the Supreme courts of California and Colorado to reconsider their opinions denying public funds to Christian schools after ruling in favor of Trinity Lutheran Church school to be allowed public funds for their playground.

*. Sending Education back to the States no more “Common Core”

*. Created Election Fraud Commission

*  Used a Bluff to get Comey to speak the truth

*. The president and nine Trump Administration cabinet members, including Vice President Mike Pence, are participating in a weekly Bible study, and members of the House and Senate were also conducting their own Bible studies, returning to a nation “Under God”

*. Ended War on Christians; Executive Order suspending Johnson amendment

*. Proclamation to instituted a national day of patriotism for the country, Inauguration Day now the National Day of Patriotic Devotion

*. Proclamation May 1 as Loyalty Day, to “recognize and reaffirm our allegiance” to American values, such as “individual liberties, to limited government, and to the inherent dignity of every human being.”

*. July 1, 2017—President Trump held a “Celebrate Freedom Rally” in Washington D.C. to honor veterans and celebrate Independence Day. In it, he spoke again strongly in favor or religious liberty and stated that “since the signing of the Declaration of Independence 241 years ago, America always affirmed that liberty comes from our creator. Our rights are given to us by God, and no earthly force can ever take those rights away.”

*. First president since Ronald Reagan in 1983 to speak at the National Rifle Association’s annual convention.

*. Executive Order to perform an audit on every executive branch agency in order to reduce spending and waste and improve services

*. 5 year lobbying ban

*. Decreased US Debt by $100B Since Inauguration, debt grew by $560 billion by the same point in Obama presidency

*.  Stock Market at an all time high

  1. This is the same vein of tripe circulated around the internet during the last Administration. Saying that filing for re-election, holding bible studies and outright rhetorical inventions….make a mockery of his actualaccomplishments.

National Day of Patriotic Devotion and Loyalty Day have a very Sturmabteilung-esque rign to them…….

If DJT continues disinfecting the VA, performs radical corrective surgery on the IRS, prevents the Islamification of the nation, and seats one more conservative on the high court, he’ll be seen as a bigger success than moving pictures . . . yeah, talkies, too.

Probably a stunt. “Pimp of the Nation” is not gonna cut it for evangelicals.
Here in Michigan, we have the recently retired Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court Bob Young. A black conservative originalist fan of Scalia who was on Trump’s short list for SCOTUS who is running for US Senate.
I interviewed Bob a couple weeks ago. Pro-life, social conservative, fiscal conservative.
We discussed the Kid Rock thing Saturday. Audio at my place.

Ci, for some of us, the goodness that comes from bible studies (all private and held only by believers on a voluntary basis in the WH and elsewhere on Capitol Hill) is welcome. Reagan’s staff had these, too. Often and with many people. I know that from a friend included in them.
Good people are entitled to do so whether some like it or not.
Loyalty Day seems to reflect everything you are frequently touting….just don’t like a name put to it?
And you sound like Obama now….as if there’s something wrong with patriotism?

And Kid Rock; Trump supporter, all ’round good guy. But his running is kind of a mockery…don’t you think? I loved his come-back to Stabenow….

JMB: WELL SAID. REALLY well said! No, I DON”T THINK PUTIN LIKES ANY TRUMP SUCCESS. Putin really fascinates me and I often wonder about him….He certainly knows how to keep his people in check because things aren’t as rosy in Russia as we think here, since American news rarely, if ever, covers foreign stories. I learned that while living in Paris and Munich “Gee, there are news stories from OTHER countries?!”
So, he walks a tightrope ALL the time…….he certainly knows how to play American presidents.

Ed, that guy Bob Young sounds good…….

  9. Z – I didn’t imply that there’s anything wrong with bible studies…..but rather, using them as a mark of accomplishment for an Administration, is absurd. Of the many other items on the list. I understand trying to accentuate the positive, but this is internet pablum.

And you sound like Obama now…

    Classy.

CI…ya, you’re right about that…it probably shouldn’t be listed along with the other accomplishments because it really isn’t. Thanks for the clarification…you’re right on that.

Well, re Obama, he DID strongly imply negatives to patriotism, what he called nationalism so it sounded more like the implication you made.

GOOD TIMING FOR THIS POST: Karl Rove is on Fox right now saying Trump’s really behind in legislation…. a ‘problem for Republicans’…
Certainly, being the first president since Reagan to speak at the NRA isn’t actually what most would call an ACCOMPLISHMENT, but….
Bill Hemmer just pinned Rove’s ears back reminding him of what HAS happened and Rove’s now admitting that some Trump changes are good.

VETERAN AD…there’s an ad for veterans on TV….NEW DAY 100 LOANS TO VETS…..
It bugs me every time I see it because I find it so insulting. The ad starts with something like “if you’re the wife of a vet, you’ll want to hear how NEW DAY 100 can arrange money to buy a home, refinance..” etc etc.
So the vet can’t think for himself? Got to apply through the WIFE for the goodies she wants?

  13. 1) I know a number of black conservatives here in Michigan 🙂 A few of them have local radio shows.
    2) “Loyalty Day” did have a disconcerting ring to it.
    3) Having a president who supports biblical principles is an accomplishment although not everyone agrees. That is OUR accomplishment. His is selecting a solidly Christian VP. By all conservative lights, that beats the last eight years

CI, Yea the Christian thing is an accomplishment. This is a case where he did something for a group of Americans. Each accomplishment may not affect every American. And where the libtard screaming seperation of church and state whewn obama was trying to force Christians to perform abortions.

No, I think listing Christian prayer groups in a list like this is odd…..Obviously, I’m all for it, but likening it to a 5 yr lobbying ban, for example, is a little odd.

Ed, that’s a problem….we don’t know of Black cons in a state that breeds the disaster in Detroit, for example. We hear a lot of blame on Blacks for what Detroit’s become, and other cities, and we should hear success stories like Bob Young’s.
    \
The LOYALTY DAY, that title, is a bit weird…but I believe what’s intended is for people to see the word LOYALTY and to wake up to how unloyal some are toward America and her Constitution.so, while it’s a kind of creepy name, i’m unsure it belongs on this list but I like how people at least consider the term loyalty again.

Kid, Mal, etc…I’m sorry any president has to do anything toward protecting Christians in any way…that’s scary and should be discussed.

I’ve been seeing so many things around the world against Christians…and it seems to me that the looser America (and Europe) gets on standing up for Christians as they certainly do for things-Muslim, it gives a kind of leeway to islamists to have their way, so to speak. It’s a dangerous thing.

Loyalty is an odd word. Patriot Day is more fitting and of course, participation is up to the individual.

I think patriotism is an important thing but not blind partiotism, rather from the aspect of how America created and maintained a much better standard of living than most other countries because of its inginunity and economic system and more. Seems most people under 40 or so think the Constitution should be run through the shredder. They should at least be taught of how it protects them from the government and (tries to) maintain a lawful society – never a bad thing.

  22. geeez2014 says:

Kid, ya, I agree…MUCH more important than the list point is ENDING THE WAR ON CHRISTIANS.
I actually just heard some other anti-Christian thing that happened in the Middle East and wondered how much Europe and America’s slamming Christianity SO much harder than they’d EVER dare to Islam isn’t kind of giving way to the beheadings and other awful things going on everywhere.

sort of like how there’s another American who’s been imprisoned in Iran for about a year, a Princeton student, and how countries are getting emboldened to do this stuff against US because of OUR LEFTWINGERS who don’t stand up for US. Kind of the same philosophy behind the anti-Christian and Anti-American thing.
If we don’t STAND UP for OURSELVES, who else would care? (until they need us, of course )

I couldn’t agree more with your other comment….well put.

  23. Kid – No, he accomplished something for a group within America.

Respectfully, I’m not following. How did a bible study help you, as an American? Make you feel better? Were those involved not attending church and/or bible study before the inauguration?

I’m not going to touch the “war” on Christians, but per the list above, Trump neither ‘suspended’ nor can suspend the Johnson Amendment.

We do already have a Patriot Day, observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the people killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks. [Wiki] I don’t know if they still do this, but I requested and received an American flag [w/certificate] that ws flown over the Capitol Building on 11 September, 2002.

Alright, it was called and commonly known as obamaphone Ergo my regurgitation of it. My take is this is just generic federal theft/money laundering gross abuse of the taxpaying working American. Yes, presidents going back a ways have not done anything with issues we have at the forefront. Immigration, SS, VA, on and on pic any one and any president. This is why Trump was elected. MAGA. let’s see how he does. I pay little attention to Trump the person, only the actions, successes, and failures. The rest of it is for the gossip groups.
