  1. I watched to half the video. I don’t have all day.
I intended to blog this and will still, but as we all know, there are people out there who have no clue.
And then there are the people who listen to them and nod their heads in agreement.
Kimmel, Colbert, any of these other useful idiots, I expect them to say that nonsense.
Shapiro is expressing what many of us know to be the truth.
He has charts and graphs and logic.
    But it doesn’t matter.
There is no arguing with the left. I see it in local forums.
I am amazed at how stupidly liberal my hometown (a university town) is.
There is no rationale that sways them.
They do not believe in the founding documents.
They do not adhere to the compact, the mutual agreement.
    They are not even civil.
I voice my disagreement and walk away knowing that I said something, but they are not listening.
    I did my part.

  2. Ed,
    You are right!

Nothing will dissuade the Left. It’s as if they’re brains are sucked out when anyone tries to show evidence to the contrary.

And this is the worst part: the propagandists for the Left nearly always reach the new ears and the new eyes before anyone on the Right even gets a chance to show evidence contrary to the Left’s narrative.

  3. bocopro says:

Kimmel is a red flag warning for what’s been going wrong with America for the past few decades.

He’s smug, snide, self-possessed, and profoundly arrogant in his celebripulpit from which he pontificates impractical one-liner solutions to all the world’s problems as if he’s hosting a celebrity roast.

He’s a victim of the Fame-Gives-Me-Wisdom epidemic that has infected movie stars and television personalities.

He and Stewart and Colbert and others pour saccharine syrup on virtually insoluble problems, constantly heaping the bulk of the blame on right-wingers while giving the parasitic socialists (Soetoro in chief) a pass on everything, and the millennials lap it up as if it were the elixir of immortality.

Kimmel, like Noah and Moore and O’Donnell and Goldberg and other obscenely rich hypocrites, seems to believe that the solution to all the nation’s problems can be summed up in a single slogan:

    Dump Trump! Save the Swamp!!

  4. John M. Berger says:

I love it! Is that a bocopro original?

  5. bocopro says:

Yeah, it’s wunna mine . . . I wuz gonna put it into a syndrome but got sidetracked with the hybrid “celebripulpit.”

  6. Mal says:

After the first 2 or 3 minutes, I skimmed forward a few times before stopping. Like Ed said, I don’t have all day. I did get the drift of its content.
As I’ve pointed out, all this talk about gun control is moot. Its too late. We have millions, perhaps even hundreds of millions of guns in our country. No one really knows for sure, so lets quit talking about gun control and move on.
The primary reason for the second amendment we all know and understand. These kind of things are going to happen, but we won’t lose our country from them like we could if we didn’t have the right to bear arms. Its just something we will have to accept and use due diligence in trying to prevent them from happening.

  7. Jersey Jack says:

Ed…”I watched to half the video. I don’t have all day.”

Whats up with the nastiness? It may take you all day to watch it but it’s only 32 minutes of quality discourse from one of the few assets we have speaking for us on our side. Our host should be thanked for bringing this to us…right ED?

  8. John M. Berger says:

Thanks for the video. I’ve shared it with many-no feed-back yet.

  9. Upvote for Bocopro!

  10. Jersey, what nastiness? Mal said similar and I’d never consider him nasty.
I was only explaining why I didn’t watch the entire video.
I must ask, why you feel it necessary to address me on the subject.

  11. Baysider says:

The first newsman cited (Trevor??) at 21+ minutes gives a pitch perfect response to what the media actually does with Islamic killers: be sad, shower the site with candles, flowers and toys, and NEVER mention Islam. You could take the word ‘guns’ out and replace it with ‘Islam’ and not change a thing.

  12. geeez2014 says:

Ed, I think Jersey’s reacting to “I don’t have all day” as it sounds….instead of “unfortunately, I don’t have the time right now…, but..”
As you know “I don’t have all day” us often used in impatience…

Ed….yes, we just have to walk away sometimes…we did our part. They will NOT LISTEN. Period.
In contrast, I’ve had liberals converse with me and add “you know, Z, you’re one of the few conservatives who actually listens and pays some heed to what I think…”
    I believe that’s important.
I believe we all have to play a part in trying HARD to understand ALTHOUGH I’ll admit that was said some years back; today, I have LOST ANY SHRED OF RESPECT FOR LIBERALS….
even my Bobby Shriver speech-writer dear friend who’s actually a member of my Bible study core group…we had dinner recently and realized we just can’t talk politics and I found that stunning because we could in the past.

EVERYBODY: Got an email from a German friend I’d written a happy birthday email too…she said this as part of her response: “Right now the situation in your country is not very inviting – seen from Europe anyway.”
I can’t wait to respond with something like “how could it be? I see what Europeans read and it’s all leftwing American news…and….Angela’s pleasing you these days?” HAA!!

  13. Jersey Jack says:

Your German friend, I’d say, had a hell of a lot of nerve. Without mentioning that Germany has turned into a free rape zone…. and you don’t even have to ask for one. It will be freely administered to you by one of our newly imported Muslim savages who don’t appreciate your provocative manner of dress. Nor did your friend mention that parts of Munich or Cologne are definitely no go places. Or as long as we’re on Europe, how about a stroll on a warm summer night only to find that another mooslem has decided to kill 86 of you out for the evening in a nice big stolen or rented truck ! Or at a concert attended by mostly all little girls and a nice clean wholesome American entertainer? Or walking along a London bridge a block away from parliament. Or why France has finally adopted common sense laws because they’re a bit damn fed up with mooslem terrorist assassins killing ….. oh…. 140 Parisians in an evening.
You dare point a finger at us when your house is crumbling down around your ears? In 10 or 15 years you’ll all be watching your BBC in burkas and your governments will have been taken over by Hamas!

  14. Jersey Jack says:

ED…I think our host’s explanation will suffice. It’s just that on the surface it’s pretty snarky and disrespectful. I come here for the topics and content first and not the commentary by the commenters, with few exceptions. Our host breaks her back to provide us with a topic every day, 7 days a week, and see it as a public service. If you’d rather one liners for your daily topics then watch the Kimmel show or Comedy Central where the left gets their “in-depth” news. Ms.Z puts together a nice comprehensive forum here.

  15. Mal says:

That, she does, JJ. Its a task I sure wouldn’t want to undertake.

  16. Jersey Jack says:

Thank you Mal…she does indeed. Nor would I, even with a gun to my head!

  17. So you and I differ. I come here to read all the comments because they are usually well considered and informative.
That you would say you would leave it to our host and then double down with “snarky and disrespectful” speaks volumes about you.
And as I said, why do you not attack Mal for saying the same thing?
If you don’t come here to read commenters, skip mine and don’t attack me for them, and we’ll both be happier.

  18. geeez2014 says:

I have to say I DO appreciate those who read my posts, whether I’ve written them or I’m posting something I saw and thought you should all read.
And, let’s face it, I often get the feeling that people see the topic, then comment…….
I think it’s probably the same at all blogs, but I’m not sure….I often wonder why I bother to write a post at all! Not feeling sorry for myself; I go to blogs to get the blogger’s opinion on subjects….and then read and respond to it and his/her commenters.

Jersey, thanks for the great show of appreciation; that means a lot to me.
Mal, thanks for agreeing with JJ!

Ed, I do appreciate those who show they’ve read my posts…..
Not sure Jersey means he never reads or appreciates the comments, only that he actually reads my posts and my own comments, which means a lot to me.

I appreciate your all being here……..

  19. Jersey Jack says:

Wow, Ed..Jesus, please don’t lose any sleep tonight. Yea…we differ. I have some manners and respect for my host while I’m a guest in their house. And Mal? I like Mal. Not that he cares nor does it matter to him. Just leave it alone now.. Have a nice night.

  20. Mal says:

Please let me be clear. I meant no harm when I said I didn’t have time to watch a long video. I’ve been dealing with a sick wife. In fact, we had to go to the E.R. again last night and didn’t get home till around 1:30 this a.m. I also try to read most, if not all, the blogs, but confess I don’t always get to do that, either.
We are facing the possibility of having to sell and move North to Washington State to be near family (and I am not looking forward to the weather!). It also means leaving many dear friends here and our dancing group (we will be performing tomorrow and next Tues). It also means not only selling our home, but two others we rent out, so its quite a decision for us to make.
    “Details at 11”.

  21. Mal, you’ll be in our prayers.

  22. Imp says:

MAL…I’m with Ed…I cannot get on my knees anymore but you can bet I’ll have my hands clasped together to pray for you and your wife.

  23. Mal says:

Thanks to you both for the kind thoughts and prayers.
