Yay! Glad you posted this! Love it….

  2. Mal says:

Beautiful, Z. Thanks. I replayed it for Joni who also loved it. Incidentally, she awoke feeling really good this a.m. so perhaps all the prayers are working! Our thanks to everyone.

Yes, indeed. I can picture that choir multiplied by millions in heaven, praising His glorious name and person.

SEMI-OFF TOPIC, but I want to thank the blogger who recommended Dying Out Loud to me on your blog. I searched back, but can’t remember if it were Kid or Ed. So thanks – bought, read, and really shifts direction of what you think about serving the Lord and about suffering. The subject, a Christian missionary in Turkey, was called ‘Isa” – or Jesus – by the local imam who couldn’t pronounce his English name easily. And in an complimentary way.

  4. Baysider, you are welcome!
I have friends who are missionaries to muslims who are part of a movement called “Live Dead”.
    Quite a concept.

  5. Mal: Praise God!
I want to give thanks to God, also.
I’ve been off and on unemployed the last few months. Quite a story I will write soon.
Through it all God has met our needs and in the midst of a stressful time, Scherie hasn’t had a seizure during the whole time. Amazing.

  7. Jersey Jack says:

As are the Poles praying and praising His name:

Thousands of Catholics formed a human chain along the borders of Poland on the anniversary of a historic victory by Europe over the Ottoman Empire officially to pray for peace and “against the Islamisation of Europe”.
Polish media reports hundreds of thousands of adherents participated in the “Rosary on the Borders” event on Saturday, October 7th, to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto, where “the Christian fleet overcame the Muslim armada, saving Europe from Islamisation”.

The Catholic Feast of the Holy Rosary was established by Pope Pius V in 1571 as “Our Lady of Victory” after the Holy League won a landmark victory over the Ottoman Turks at their naval station in Lepanto.

  8. The video is a beautiful rendition of that song.
I first was exposed to “The voices of Lee” watching a Christmas special on Dr. Charles Stanley’s show. Great stuff.

  9. Baysider says:

JJ – thanks for sharing that!

    My favorite Psalm.

    Psalm 100King James Version (KJV)
100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
