It was staged, choreographed, pre-planned, ergo phony. A cheap gesture which will only widen the rift between overhyped, overpropagandized, overpaid pituitary freaks and the administration’s frustrated agenda.

This whole charade of dissing the anthem/flag because of police brutality against black males is nothing more than a middle-finger contemptuous gesture for a PotUS who has been made out by the media and the DNC as a racist.

I doubt if more than 10% of the black professional athletes in the major sports franchises are aware of the truth about Trayvon and Michael and Eric and Freddie. The entire BLM fraud is based on a myth supported by the Soetoro administration.

People weren’t targetting cops prior to DingleBarry’s election, and Confederate statues weren’t considered racial triggers before he came along, either. Michael Brown and the whole “Hands up/Don’t shoot” myth was and is a travesty that’s costing lives and has set racial harmony back 50 years.

All those black members of Congress who echoed that chant with their hands in the air should be ashamed of themselves. Ignorant pampered millionaire athletes are one thing; US senators and representatives should be better informed.

The lamestream media and hard-line leftistes drooled in orgasmic delight when the Las Vegas shooter turned out to be a wealthy, aging, white male.

And I STILL don’t know what the hell BLM actually wants . . . chaos? The percentage or murders of blacks by cops is maybe 1% — the percentage of blacks killed by blacks is over 96%. In an average month, more people are killed in Chicago than in Vegas by Paddock.

Bocopro; how the heck do you know this leaving by Pence was planned?
That game was apparently on his schedule for a long’s his team and he loves football.
Tell me how you know because this is what the lamestream lib media’s touting.

  3. bocopro says:

Well, aside from the apparency of it, there’s this:

    Donald J. Trump‏Verified account
I asked @VP Pence to leave stadium if any players kneeled, disrespecting our country. I am proud of him and @SecondLady Karen.

  4. Kid says:

I’m all for everybody leaving the game. Too many black folks seem to think they are above the law. They should realize and understand that bad things happen to white people too. They should also comply with police instructions and file grievences after being processed.

  5. Adrienne says:

Set up or not, he did the right thing.

  6. Baysider says:

  7. Don Jose says:

Maybe it’s time for the NFL to get back to playing football games instead of playing with people’s political stances. Just a thought.

  8. Mal says:

Now consider what probably woulda happened had he stayed! “Approval”. “Agreed”. etc.
He did indeed do the right thing by leaving.

  9. geeez2014 says:

OK. Trump said Pence should leave if the team took a knee. It wasn’t phony, it’s their beliefs, Bocopro; Pence and Trump both feel taking a knee is disrespectful. Pence might have even discussed it with Trump and Trump said “I asked (Z: not told) Pence to leave…”

I think it was the right thing to do and I think for the leftwing media to show outrage at Pence’s leaving and suggest it was a stunt is absolutely ridiculous… They know how he feels about patriotism and NFL players disrespecting America like this.

  10. It was the right thing and I wish that he would have been joined by the rest of the spectators!

  11. geeez2014 says:

JMB, ME, TOO!!! But I guess if you paid for your tickets and love football…still, I WISH, oh HOW I WISH!

  12. Mal says:

Consider if you owned a football franchise and agreed with Trump and didn’t like it. Would you add to the controversy by saying so, then firing those players so some other team could pick them up, lose your fans as well as the value of your franchise? I didn’t think so.

  13. My friend Mike across the street has Lions season tickets.
He is a conservative and he despises the knee taking.
He doesn’t walk out. But those tickets cost him a relatively large amount of money and he doesn’t want to let a relatively small number of the team to rob him of the enjoyment he gets from watching the game.
    I get that.
But Pence did the right thing.
And it was not a setup.
    It was a reaction.
    And a good one.

  14. geeez2014 says:

Mal, actually, I believe I heard that on FOX tonight and thought “WHAT?” The owner said the team will go if the kneel, agreed with Trump, and encouraged advertisers to leave?” Did I hear that wrong? Probably!

    Ed, totally agree.

  15. Cube says:

Yes, leaving was a good idea. Staged or not, I don’t care. Adults need to reign in the juveniles in the NFL. They are allowed to protest whatever they want, just not on the clock.

  16. The lines are drawn. Pence merely reinforced the delineation thereof. And I admit that I cheered when I heard that he and his wife had walked out.

BTW, I see tonight that Goodell is now, more or less, ordering players to stand for our National Anthem.
