Britain, America, Hawaii and Cockroaches…

SO,  THIS LINK is more disheartening terror information.   The UK, too, is batting away at cockroaches which are unstoppable.  The terror threat in the UK today is worse than anything in 35 years, says Britain’s chief intel guy.   Think it’s any better here in America??

And, let’s face it, they ARE unstoppable, these horrible islamist terrorists.

So they can attack because this is a war without uniforms or Geneva Conventions or anything like decent wars, if there has ever truly been a decent war.   And it’s the WEST in trouble because the evil ones know our hands are tied…as we pour money into Afghanistan to help its people and lose young Americans in battles over there protecting those people, and lose people here to Islamists behind San Bernardino or the Boston Marathon, etc.   It’s not Islamists in trouble….they die, they’re happy.  They’re with virgins in Muslim ‘heaven!’

SO…again……any solution but “Kill them all!”??  And then, to cheer us all up, THIS HAPPENED YESTERDAY!

Trump loses again, America loses again……….the Hawaiian Judge doesn’t like that the 8 countries from which we’re hoping to block people are MUSLIM!  Think if they were a random group of Christian countries with terrorists in them this judge would give a damn?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE NEWEST RULING?   My link is pretty comprehensive from the legal slant….take a look.

  1. I hope I am not called out for being rude, again, but I’m not going to register at that link to read the article. None the less, I can guess its contents and will probably look somewhere else for the information. We are far past the time when federal judges dictate National immigration policy and it must be brought to a stop.

You’re better than that Ed. It’s like saying Roosevelt couldn’t do it, but Truman did. Trump’s claim of credit is a slap in the face to every man and woman who have labored to fight ISIS since 2014. The clearance of Raqqa and the forthcoming clearance of al Qaim, have only come to fruition from 3+ tears of dedicated service [and frustrating service advising the Iraqi’s].

I thought using the Armed Forces as political props was to be frowned upon?

Having written volumes on Islam and western Europe’s stubborn refusal to learn anything from past mistakes, I’ve given up even thinking about the topic. Some time back I came across one pithy little comment which sums it all up quite neatly, so I dropped it onto my desktop:

Legislation, judicial rulings, and executive actions which encourage, support, and promote Islam in any fashion are like deliberately breathing asbestos dust, developing lung cancer from it, and then celebrating the disease.

As disheartening as this information is, there is no one or nothing to blame for increased terror other than the incomprehensible decisions and policies formulated by the US and UK governments, which have opened national doors to the seemingly limitless numbers of Moslem refugees and immigrants. These government decision makers were elected or appointed by the citizens of the US and UK. The lessons here are many, not the least of which is that we cannot (and must not) trust our government(s) to do the right thing. We should always anticipate that government officials will do the most expeditious thing that in the final analysis, suit their own purposes. In the UK, an open door to Moslem emigres increases the number of people who vote labor; in the US, it increases the number of democrats. I’m betting that the percentage of Moslems who vote conservative in either country must be in single digits.

That said, I do not agree that there is nothing that can be done, even in spite of the Hawaiian judge who is attempting to block President Trump’s restrictions. The fact is that it would be a simple matter for the President to inform the Secretary of State that no US embassy will process any visa to the United States from any of those countries; it could be done quietly and effectively with a single phone call.

Trump is addressing this as a macro-issue, while the law addresses immigration on an individual basis. Barring anyone from securing a visa based on their religious ideology is patently illegal —so says the law-makers. Trump is plenty smart enough to realize this, and so I have come to believe that his executive orders are really intended to demonstrate to his base that he’s doing what he promised, to protect the United States and to make America great again. This is all fine and good, of course … except that it is woefully inadequate to the underlying task. Embassies that no longer processes visa requests, or that delay them indefinitely, would go a long way toward reducing the large influx of people who hate what America stands for.

Of course, “kill them all” is no solution to the problem of the encroachment of Islamism; we should not care what religion people choose to follow (although I am quite sure that Moslem children do not get to choose at all), but this is not to say that people who hate America should be allowed to migrate here. At least Trump has the right idea about this, he is only going about it in the wrong way.

I am not one of those who think that there are “good Moslems.” This is not an emotional response, but a logical one, for if someone adheres to the strict interpretation of the Koran as laid out in the Hadith —which is required of all Moslems, then every single Moslem must defile the Jew and Christian wherever they are found —including their “new country.” And if you should ever run across a Moslem who proclaims him or herself a moderate, or secular Moslem, they at the same time proclaim themselves apostate —hence, they are not Islamists at all and subject themselves to the same violence that is routinely directly toward Jews and Christians.

Lastly, I am not willing to trust the word of any Moslem who proclaims himself moderate because if anything, anything at all, the Moslem is an exceptionally talented liar. They are not only encouraged to lie to the infidel, they are forced into lying in order to protect their “cover” as moderates. How do you intelligently trust anyone like this? Doing so is completely illogical (and dangerous) to a free society. And do not think that people already here seek to assimilate into American society. It is an invasion of epic proportions in a closed society that permits polygamy and the production of scores of children, who themselves are raised as Moslems. Collectively, they represent literally tens of thousands of Manchurian candidates. If we continue to pretend that none of this is happening, then we individually are part of the problem. Once they are here, once they are spawn inside our borders, there is little we can do about them beyond a law enforcement solution after the fact of violence against innocent neighbors. Some people are willing to take this risk; I am not one of them. I say keep them out, but do realize that if we just are confronted with the 1.5 million Moslems already here, all we will be able to do is slow down the process of our own destruction.

@ CI … there is no doubt that the United States military is the finest fighting organization on the planet. Nevertheless, they are not worth a salt if the commander-in-chief refuses to use them effectively in their lawful mission, which is the defense of the United States and its people. Obama shackled the military for eight years, and through three of our current or past presidents, the military has been given a task for which they are least suited: nation-building. In effect, then, our military’s talents have been wasted and our losses in terms of manpower and financial resources is intolerable. There is no question that our troops have done a stellar job since 2014; I only question the wisdom of placing our young men and women in harms’ way attempting to achieve something that has been unachievable since the days of Alexander the Great. I could change my mind about this, I suppose, if only one US official would tell me in plain language what our national interests are in Afghanistan. I’ve been waiting to hear this since 2003.

“Congress has complete authority over immigration. Presidential power does not extend beyond refugee policy. Except for questions regarding aliens’ constitutional rights, the courts have generally found the immigration issue as nonjusticiable.”

(I believe we are talking about ‘refugees’ here.)
(Aliens have no constitutional rights, they only have a right to due process)

    Also:

    Justiciability
Justiciability refers to the types of matters that the federal courts can adjudicate. If a case is “nonjusticiable.” a federal court cannot hear it.

(This indicates that the federal judge in Hawaii has no business getting involved in this matter. Never let that stop a lefist activist judge though.)

The important thing here is how they are taking heed from the mistakes made by their neighbors and their sage avoidance of problems certain to arise, otherwise. Z – And nobody suggests this clearing of Raqqa was done only since Trump came in.

Nobody? Are you sure? Let’s allow Mr. Trump to confirm or deny this: “I totally changed rules of engagement. I totally changed our military, I totally changed the attitudes of the military and they have done a fantastic job,” Trump said on “The Chris Plante Show.” “ISIS is now giving up, they are giving up, there are raising their hands, they are walking off. Nobody has ever seen that before.”

When Plante asked why that hadn’t happened before, Trump took the bait.

“Because you didn’t have Trump as your president,” he said. “It was a big difference, there was a big, big difference if you look at the military now.”

Sure sounds like something the Right would lose their minds over, had a Democrat said likewise.

Mustang, I’m in agreement with you except for the ‘shackling’ at least as it regards Iraq/Syria. That’s the theater I’ve been supporting since before 2013 [even longer when in uniform of course]. There is no rational reason why we are still in Afghanistan, and there have been many junctures in which to reassess our commitment, and withdraw.

I don’t care a whit about allegations of Trump or Obama calling/writing or not calling/writing Gold Star families. It’s political theater of Trump’s making. But to presume credit in a combat theater, when all you’ve done is recently stay the course, is disgraceful for someone who purports to represent Conservatives.
