Britain, America, Hawaii and Cockroaches…

SO,  THIS LINK is more disheartening terror information.   The UK, too, is batting away at cockroaches which are unstoppable.  The terror threat in the UK today is worse than anything in 35 years, says Britain’s chief intel guy.   Think it’s any better here in America??

And, let’s face it, they ARE unstoppable, these horrible islamist terrorists.

So they can attack because this is a war without uniforms or Geneva Conventions or anything like decent wars, if there has ever truly been a decent war.   And it’s the WEST in trouble because the evil ones know our hands are tied…as we pour money into Afghanistan to help its people and lose young Americans in battles over there protecting those people, and lose people here to Islamists behind San Bernardino or the Boston Marathon, etc.   It’s not Islamists in trouble….they die, they’re happy.  They’re with virgins in Muslim ‘heaven!’

SO…again……any solution but “Kill them all!”??  And then, to cheer us all up, THIS HAPPENED YESTERDAY!

Trump loses again, America loses again……….the Hawaiian Judge doesn’t like that the 8 countries from which we’re hoping to block people are MUSLIM!  Think if they were a random group of Christian countries with terrorists in them this judge would give a damn?

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE NEWEST RULING?   My link is pretty comprehensive from the legal slant….take a look.

  1. I hope I am not called out for being rude, again, but I’m not going to register at that link to read the article. None the less, I can guess its contents and will probably look somewhere else for the information. We are far past the time when federal judges dictate National immigration policy and it must be brought to a stop.

  2. We may still have terrorism on the planet, but we no longer have an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. Isis as a political entity is dead. I’ve yet to see the ticker tape parades. Obama couldn’t do it but Trump did.

  3. Obama couldn’t do it but Trump did.

You’re better than that Ed. It’s like saying Roosevelt couldn’t do it, but Truman did. Trump’s claim of credit is a slap in the face to every man and woman who have labored to fight ISIS since 2014. The clearance of Raqqa and the forthcoming clearance of al Qaim, have only come to fruition from 3+ tears of dedicated service [and frustrating service advising the Iraqi’s].

I thought using the Armed Forces as political props was to be frowned upon?

  4. Years…..not “tears”…..

  5. bocopro says:

Having written volumes on Islam and western Europe’s stubborn refusal to learn anything from past mistakes, I’ve given up even thinking about the topic. Some time back I came across one pithy little comment which sums it all up quite neatly, so I dropped it onto my desktop:

Legislation, judicial rulings, and executive actions which encourage, support, and promote Islam in any fashion are like deliberately breathing asbestos dust, developing lung cancer from it, and then celebrating the disease.

  6. While I don’t know, for sure, what successes in the ME are attributable to the Trump Administration, I submit that such has been achieved [in spite] of B.O.!

  7. Kid says:

CI, obama did not put a winning effort into the ISIS situation. It’s obvious.

  8. Kid says:

As understand it, the president has complete control over immigration. He can deny entry to all people with brown hair and blue eyes. The leftist activist juidges are out of control.

  9. geeez2014 says:

Ed, “called our for being rude?” Nobody’s asking you to register for anything and nobody ever has.
You have to register to see a Yahoo article? I’ve never called anybody rude, I’ve lamented that people won’t open a liberal-leaning media link only because it’s liberal.

CI…oh, please…no other president’s used our military as props?
And nobody suggests this clearing of Raqqa was done only since Trump came in. ALL presidents take credit for being the one in charge when things happened… I’ve always found that kind of silly…like Democrat presidents taking credit for economies Republicans had put on the right track…until the Dems went back to their old ways, after taking credit, and losing it all..

    Bocopro, that’s a great quote.

JMB…thanks for that video; will watch a bit later this morning. eager to!

EVERYBODY: I know the next link was at the bottom of my post….KEEP READING!!! But I’d love a comment on the latest stoppage of Trump’s travel ban. AGAIN.

  10. geeez2014 says:

Kid! THANK YOU! YOU READ IT 🙂 I thought that was true about immigration, too, but this article specifically says the pres can’t..??

AND I THINK KID’S RIGHT…’s one thing to keep slogging along, it’s another thing to make a winning effort. I don’t think most Americans saw a big push from Obama…..

  11. Mustang says:

As disheartening as this information is, there is no one or nothing to blame for increased terror other than the incomprehensible decisions and policies formulated by the US and UK governments, which have opened national doors to the seemingly limitless numbers of Moslem refugees and immigrants. These government decision makers were elected or appointed by the citizens of the US and UK. The lessons here are many, not the least of which is that we cannot (and must not) trust our government(s) to do the right thing. We should always anticipate that government officials will do the most expeditious thing that in the final analysis, suit their own purposes. In the UK, an open door to Moslem emigres increases the number of people who vote labor; in the US, it increases the number of democrats. I’m betting that the percentage of Moslems who vote conservative in either country must be in single digits.

That said, I do not agree that there is nothing that can be done, even in spite of the Hawaiian judge who is attempting to block President Trump’s restrictions. The fact is that it would be a simple matter for the President to inform the Secretary of State that no US embassy will process any visa to the United States from any of those countries; it could be done quietly and effectively with a single phone call.

Trump is addressing this as a macro-issue, while the law addresses immigration on an individual basis. Barring anyone from securing a visa based on their religious ideology is patently illegal —so says the law-makers. Trump is plenty smart enough to realize this, and so I have come to believe that his executive orders are really intended to demonstrate to his base that he’s doing what he promised, to protect the United States and to make America great again. This is all fine and good, of course … except that it is woefully inadequate to the underlying task. Embassies that no longer processes visa requests, or that delay them indefinitely, would go a long way toward reducing the large influx of people who hate what America stands for.

Of course, “kill them all” is no solution to the problem of the encroachment of Islamism; we should not care what religion people choose to follow (although I am quite sure that Moslem children do not get to choose at all), but this is not to say that people who hate America should be allowed to migrate here. At least Trump has the right idea about this, he is only going about it in the wrong way.

I am not one of those who think that there are “good Moslems.” This is not an emotional response, but a logical one, for if someone adheres to the strict interpretation of the Koran as laid out in the Hadith —which is required of all Moslems, then every single Moslem must defile the Jew and Christian wherever they are found —including their “new country.” And if you should ever run across a Moslem who proclaims him or herself a moderate, or secular Moslem, they at the same time proclaim themselves apostate —hence, they are not Islamists at all and subject themselves to the same violence that is routinely directly toward Jews and Christians.

Lastly, I am not willing to trust the word of any Moslem who proclaims himself moderate because if anything, anything at all, the Moslem is an exceptionally talented liar. They are not only encouraged to lie to the infidel, they are forced into lying in order to protect their “cover” as moderates. How do you intelligently trust anyone like this? Doing so is completely illogical (and dangerous) to a free society. And do not think that people already here seek to assimilate into American society. It is an invasion of epic proportions in a closed society that permits polygamy and the production of scores of children, who themselves are raised as Moslems. Collectively, they represent literally tens of thousands of Manchurian candidates. If we continue to pretend that none of this is happening, then we individually are part of the problem. Once they are here, once they are spawn inside our borders, there is little we can do about them beyond a law enforcement solution after the fact of violence against innocent neighbors. Some people are willing to take this risk; I am not one of them. I say keep them out, but do realize that if we just are confronted with the 1.5 million Moslems already here, all we will be able to do is slow down the process of our own destruction.

@ CI … there is no doubt that the United States military is the finest fighting organization on the planet. Nevertheless, they are not worth a salt if the commander-in-chief refuses to use them effectively in their lawful mission, which is the defense of the United States and its people. Obama shackled the military for eight years, and through three of our current or past presidents, the military has been given a task for which they are least suited: nation-building. In effect, then, our military’s talents have been wasted and our losses in terms of manpower and financial resources is intolerable. There is no question that our troops have done a stellar job since 2014; I only question the wisdom of placing our young men and women in harms’ way attempting to achieve something that has been unachievable since the days of Alexander the Great. I could change my mind about this, I suppose, if only one US official would tell me in plain language what our national interests are in Afghanistan. I’ve been waiting to hear this since 2003.

  12. Kid says:

I didn’t read the one in your link Z, it wants me to register. I did find this:

“Congress has complete authority over immigration. Presidential power does not extend beyond refugee policy. Except for questions regarding aliens’ constitutional rights, the courts have generally found the immigration issue as nonjusticiable.”

(I believe we are talking about ‘refugees’ here.)
(Aliens have no constitutional rights, they only have a right to due process)

Justiciability refers to the types of matters that the federal courts can adjudicate. If a case is “nonjusticiable.” a federal court cannot hear it.

(This indicates that the federal judge in Hawaii has no business getting involved in this matter. Never let that stop a lefist activist judge though.)

  13. MUSTANG to the 10th power!

  14. Kid says:

    Moderate moslems……….

There are 60 sharia courts in the UK currently. This is what moderaate moslems bring you. The moslem mayor of London has banned ‘sexy’ ads. It’s bad enough already there, but when they get to critical mass, they will have a majority parliament and then a moslem PM. Then all of England becomes sharia compliant. They’ll be dictating to, torturing, and killing the infidels on the streets.

All the EU coutnries will fall to the breeding out process.

Only Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia will survive since they don’t allow any moslems into their country.

  15. @Kid,
“Only Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia will survive since they don’t allow any moslems into their country.”

Yes and they should get ready for the mass influx of non Muslim refugees from those hapless nations who invited their own demise, if and when [they] ever wake-up to reality!

  16. Kid, thanks. I was beginning to question whether I was the only one required to register (see my earlier comment).

  17. geeez2014 says:

Ed, why? Lots of sites require that…I’m surprised Yahoo! does, and I’m quite sure I never did, but that’s fairly normal.

JMB and Kid, those countries DO have muslims in them, rest assured. But they’re not nutcase muslims …they’ve coexisted for years. The smart thing is these countries KNOW better than most of the West, that new muslims aren’t like old-timers who’ve acclimated to the society they have been in for years.

  18. Kid says:

Z, I now see that Poland example has moslems who practice a Tartar version of islam, which in one example allows women to dress pretty much how they want, and it is a tiny fraction of their population. I had read that they won’t take any ‘refugees’ and employed to army to round up any who may have gotten in and put them out. That must only apply to refugees.

  19. geeez2014 says:

JMB: Obama is SO slick in that video…….the Black guy’s right; all obfuscation, anger, all simmering below his very slick surface. Actually, I SO wish Trump could keep emotions hidden like this….
It is surprising how tough the 60 Minutes guy gave it to Obama.

MUSTANG…thanks for that comment. You don’t really think nobody’d catch on to a phone call to embassies “done quietly,” right? That would be known in five minutes.
I so agree with your statement on the military…
I disagree about your inference Trump does things to “play to his base,” as CNN and MSNBC and Dem politicians are constantly saying lately…well, they were until the DNC meme apparently turned to everybody using the term “sabotage”….it’s a weekly thing , this meme usage, I’m noticing….they must get a monthly memo on the memes!
I don’t think it’s playing to a base when you’ve made promises to your base and you felt strongly about those issues and are now implementing them.

TRUMP APPARENTLY TOLD A GOLD STAR WIFE THAT HE WAS SORRY HER HUSBAND HAD DIED, BUT HE KNEW HE’D KNOWN WHAT HE’D SIGNED UP FOR. Those are the words of a Black Democrat congresswoman representing that woman’s community, and the pregnant wife. Kind of cold. But, I can see Trump saying something like “I am so sorry for your loss and appreciative of your husband who knew he could die, knew what he had accepted, but did went anyway”. I’m hoping against hope that’s actually what was said.

  20. geeez2014 says:

OOOO….Judge Napolitano is on FOX right now slamming Sessions and Trump….again.
did he expect some position in the Trump admin and didn’t get it?

  21. Kid says:

Z, This is what Trump said:

Democrat Congresswoman totally fabricated what I said to the wife of a soldier who died in action (and I have proof). Sad!

Sessions Should be feeling some pressure. The criminal activity in regard to Comey, clinton, lynch and others has been obvious to us and now evidence continues to pour out about clinton getting a pass, clinton and others relations with Russia during the campaign. There are cockroaches scurrying around all over the place and is Sessions even having any of it investigated? I can see why he wouldn’t announce it but it’s been over 8 months and nothing.

I don’t know the judge’s thoughts but they may be similar to what I wrote ?

  22. “JMB and Kid, those countries DO have muslims in them”

Yes but such population(s) appear to be rather insignificant and I’m willing to bet that [they] pose no threat, as you point-out. Perhaps they might even be indistinguishable from the general population. The important thing here is how they are taking heed from the mistakes made by their neighbors and their sage avoidance of problems certain to arise, otherwise. If it’s not happening, already, I suppose that the EU will interfere.

  23. Kid – CI, obama did not put a winning effort into the ISIS situation. It’s obvious.

What is obvious, is the the Trump Administration has carried out the exact policies of his predecessor, in both Iraq/Syria and Afghanistan.

Z – oh, please…no other president’s used our military as props?

Put down the feigned outrage. Every POTUS has done so, and nowhere did I imply otherwise. But to castigate one for doing such yet support or willfully ignore another….would be hypocrisy, no?

Z – And nobody suggests this clearing of Raqqa was done only since Trump came in.

Nobody? Are you sure? Let’s allow Mr. Trump to confirm or deny this: “I totally changed rules of engagement. I totally changed our military, I totally changed the attitudes of the military and they have done a fantastic job,” Trump said on “The Chris Plante Show.” “ISIS is now giving up, they are giving up, there are raising their hands, they are walking off. Nobody has ever seen that before.”

When Plante asked why that hadn’t happened before, Trump took the bait.

“Because you didn’t have Trump as your president,” he said. “It was a big difference, there was a big, big difference if you look at the military now.”

Sure sounds like something the Right would lose their minds over, had a Democrat said likewise.

Mustang, I’m in agreement with you except for the ‘shackling’ at least as it regards Iraq/Syria. That’s the theater I’ve been supporting since before 2013 [even longer when in uniform of course]. There is no rational reason why we are still in Afghanistan, and there have been many junctures in which to reassess our commitment, and withdraw.

I don’t care a whit about allegations of Trump or Obama calling/writing or not calling/writing Gold Star families. It’s political theater of Trump’s making. But to presume credit in a combat theater, when all you’ve done is recently stay the course, is disgraceful for someone who purports to represent Conservatives. It’s rather telling that his response didn’t reference the Armed Forces that he claims to support with such fervor…..

  24. geeez2014 says:

Kid, no, they aren’t supposedly taking in refugees…but the countries you mentioned do have muslim populations in them….there are muslims there living fine for probably hundreds of years

  25. Mal says:

C.I., I believe what Ed said about Obama couldn’t do it but Trump did is about how Obama, as soon as he took office, pulled our troops out of the Middle East right when victory was ours for the taking, which allowed for the creation of ISIS. I believe that is what he was talking about. Also, its no secret Obama severely weakened our military, favored Muslim countries, mocked our local police and sheriffs, and helped widen the division in our country, not only of people of color, but political as well. That is why I stated from the beginning HE IS A MUSLIM! PERIOD! That is so obvious.

  26. Kid says:

Mal, In addition, Trump let the military rewrite the rules of engagement to be on the side of winning as well as give the SECDEF and military heads complete control over planning and engagement. Seems pretty obvious.

  27. Kid says:

Z, Yes, I saw that about the small moslem populations there.

  28. Mal – You’re referring of course to the 2008 Withdrawal agreement negotiated by the Bush Administration…..and ISIS which was created as AQI and later, ISI. Again, during the previous Administration. Is that what Ed was referring to?

Kid – I’m all ears as to what rules of engagement changed to make us now “winners”. Since the only fighting we’re doing against ISIS in Iraq & Syria is air power, and some random artillery support……have CAT I and CAT II target nomination boards changed from the past Administration to the current? Nope.

  29. Kid says:

I don’t know specifically but ROE’s certainly apply to air power as well. In addition, I mentioned letting the military leadrs do their jobs how they see fit. The indication is that obama was not giving them that level of freedom, but I was not in the Oval Office either 🙂

  30. geeez2014 says:

CI, you suggesting nothing changed when Trump came in? Mattis and others aren’t more definitive, more eager to pound a little harder in order to get better results?

  31. Fair point….nor was I. Minor ROE changes were enacted in Afghanistan regarding ground combat. There has been essentially no change in this theater.

  32. Z – I’m suggesting that the prosecution of the campaign against ISIS hasn’t changed. We’re not doing the fighting [beyond air strikes]. not much more pounding can have been done.

  33. geeez2014 says:

THen there’s sure a disconnect between reality and what we hear. And, let’s face it, this media isn’t trying to make Trump BETTER by writing about upticks in fighting and killing!
    When do you come home?

  34. Generally agree about the media, just wish POTUS would shut up and lead. And you’d better believe nobody is telling the story over…especially about the Shi’a Militia Groups [officially past of the Iraqi military since mid-2016]. That alone would take a documentary series.

I should head home in early February.

  35. Jersey Jack says:

“I’m betting that the percentage of Moslems who vote conservative in either country must be in single digits.”

One more peek into the innards of the completely cancerous and dangerous contents of the cockroaches we politely refer to as “Democrats’. Add illegals, Antifa, the next generation of college idiots, 99% of college professors, BLM, black militants, and terrorists, La Raza, CAIR, The MB, activist judges, self hating Jews which I’ll never understand led by the godfather of the kosher – nostra, Chucklehead Schumer, Waters, Jordan and the cowboy wearing hats (Frederica Wilson ) the deranged typical idiot from florida…where the cost of one hat could feed a black family ( her moronic “constituents” ) for a year…making her look like a female version of a pimp… the oppressed NFL players soon to be followed by the NBA and the MLB too…did I miss any more scabs to add to the makeup of the dems? CI is right…leave the Afghans to the Afghans. Bring our troops home…they’ll be needed here for our own streets soon enough.

  36. Baysider says:

“Trump loses again, America loses again” – terrible ruling that shows elections have consequences. But so did our last election – with some benefits!

The so-called “ban” is high profile, but Trump is not “losing.” This from a Kimberly Strassel piece in the WSJ this past week: “The media remains so caught up with the president’s tweets that it has missed Mr. Trump’s project to transform the rest of the federal judiciary. The president is stocking the courts [the all-important circuit courts where 99% of decisions are finalized] with a class of brilliant young textualists bearing little relation to even their Reagan or Bush predecessors. … Mr. Trump has now nominated nearly 60 judges, filling more vacancies than Barack Obama did in his entire first year. There are another 160 court openings …” – yes, many court openings for which we can also thank Mitch McConnell for holding open in the last year of Obama’s regime.

“No administration in memory has approached appointments with more purpose than this team.”

  37. Jersey Jack says:

An absolute must read on Harvey by a producer that knows him…

  38. geeez2014 says:

Baysider, the problem is that nominees don’t perform and Congress is stalling, as Trump lamented , big time, in that impromptu press conference the other day. Let’s hope Congress hasn’t caught on and is going to block too much longer!

Jersey, she really DOES look like a female PIMP 🙂 (not having known one myself, but I get the picture!)

CI…what story? I don’t get what you mean in that first paragraph…and I’d like to..thanks.

  39. geeez2014 says:

Jersey Jack; Quite an article there. Yes, they all knew it…they are ALL GUILTY. Him included, as he infers, which I give him credit for.
WOW……….I repeat; I know I must be VERY careful not to sound like a woman who blames women, but I DO. If that’s what it takes to get a part, shame on you. And, if you do it and you’re rich, then you should shut up, too.

Lisa Bloom is Gloria Allred’s daughter, by the way.

YA, Lisa’s quite Harvey now….but there is more than one woman saying “she bribed me for him”…She could go to jail, frankly.

  40. Kid says:

I’d love to see Allred go to jail.

  41. geeez2014 says:

Anybody hear much of the Sessions hearings this morning?

He so vociferously and carefully insists he had no meetings with Russia….many times it was brought up by the Dems in varying ways and he denied in varying ways. But then why did he recuse himself from ‘all things Russian’ when he took this job?

I believed him this morning until I started thinking about it more…the recusal, etc…

  42. Mustang says:

The sexual assaults involves far more than Hollywood personalities; the latest revelation comes from this source:

What in the hell is the matter with this country? I don’t see Allred rushing to represent this young lady’s interests. Makes me think that Allred is in it for the money, not the justice.

  43. geeez2014 says:

And the men are now complaining…one guy says he didn’t know why the executive grabbed his private parts.
Anybody want to fill him IN? GeeeeZZ No wonder they get groped if they’re THAT clueless 🙂

  44. geeez2014 says:

There’s a kind of Divine Justice that Lisa Bloom, who’s been bribing women for Weinstein to ‘shut up’ is Allred’s daughter and may be in big trouble.
These are FEMINISTS, right?…and they BRIBE sexually assaulted women…up to six MILLION bucks? Some feminists. Actually, come to think of it, they’re typical feminists…remember they were nowhere to be found when their liberal hero Bill Clinton was assaulting women or when Hillary treated the victims so badly.

  45. Kid says:

Z, I’ve been assaulted by women so I kinda know how these ladies feel. In my case, it was beautiful rich women. Maybe I should have married one of them? I just felt so used though. I couldn’t do it.

  46. geeez2014 says:

    Kid, interesting….but disgusting, of course.

I could go into my feelings on men inappropriately coming onto women but it’s too long and who really cares? I have never been remotely ugly (how else can I put this?!!!) and I even had a girlfriend’s husband get into my bed one night AND morning (He was a doctor down in L.A. for a medical convention and decided last minute so there were no rooms at the hotel so he called and asked if he could stay with me)….Both times he got in my bed, I told him to GET OUT and that was that…………..I don’t hate all men for it, I don’t think all men are scum because of Hal, and no, I never told his wife, something a lot of people disagree with but I did the right thing. That, I know.
I’ve been hit on a LOT and all it took was a look or a ‘no’ and that was it.
I never felt a VICTIM and, what’s odd is friends my age haven’t felt that but, though we supposedly live in a world of gender equality and fairness, younger women are on the RAMPAGE on Facebook, telling their experiences now………. which I find self serving and stupid.

    Men are going to try.
So sue them. Maybe if they didn’t know you’ve slept with half the office, they’d not come on to you…not sure.

  47. geeez2014 says:

AND CNN FOUND HER…a Gold Star young wife who TRUMP DID NOT CALL! And oh, the sympathy from Anderson Cooper!
I KNEW the minute I heard Trump suggest Obama didn’t call all spouses, I KNEW this would happen…sure enough.
AND, Trump promised $25K to some father of a dead son? And it’s “only once the Washington Post published that he hasn’t received the money promised him since July did a check go out”>…
The WH is saying it took quite some finagling to get this check to him.
I’d sure like to know why Trump promised this and sure hope he’s not giving our money away …
Anderson Cooper seemed as happy and satisfied doing those two “Gotcha” stories as young women do blabbing about their assault stories.
Odd that almost all I’ve known or seen on TV are …um…not attractive women.

  48. Mustang says:

@ Kid … hard to live on $50/month, eh?

  49. geeez2014 says:

Ya, apparently this was Trump money . I hope so.
This is not a day I’m only happy Trump’s president because it’s not HER.
Otherwise, I could pull my hair out at his freakin’ HUGE STUPID MOUTH.

  50. Kid says:

    Z, You’ve slept with half the office !? 🙂

  51. Kid says:

Mustang, $50/month can work with the right friends and (in my case) Giggalo activities.

  52. geeez2014 says:

    Mustang…now, now now… 🙂

  53. Z – what story? I don’t get what you mean in that first paragraph…and I’d like to..thanks.

The story of how the Iranian-backed Shi’a Militia Groups [the same bunch of fella’s that killed hundred upon hundreds of our men and women between 2003-2011] are now officially incorporated into the Iraqi Security Forces [as the Popular Mobilization Forces] and fighting against ISIS. Once ISIS is defeated in al Qaim……their sights will again turn on us.

As they would have, had we not withdrawn as promised at the end of 2011.
