Trump and Victims’ families

Mrs. Johnson, the widow of the Black soldier so sadly killed in Niger, is being lured into the news cycle by ABC and other venues which should honestly be ashamed of themselves.  She still insists Trump didn’t know her husband’s name, though everyone on the planet knows he had paperwork in front of him.  How could he not?

And, of course, she’s pumping up the allegations of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, who insists Trump was horrid in mentioning how Johnson knew what he signed up for and was killed.  And for forgetting his name.

General John Kelly was incorrect when he blasted Wilson for having listened in on the phone call….the truth is that Mrs. Johnson and she were in the car together and, of course, if they were on speaker phone, how could Wilson not hear it?  BUT, how inappropriate could it have been with General Kelly, himself a Gold Star Dad, there with Trump as he spoke?   Don’t you think Kelly would have indicated to Trump to clean up what he said somehow if it had been at all inappropriate?

Soldier Johnson’s mother also is involved:    “Johnson’s mother, Cowanda Jones-Johnson, told the Washington Post that Wilson’s account was accurate.  President Trump did disrespect my son and my daughter and also me and my husband,” Jones-Johnson said.”  How does she know he disrespected her son or anyone else?  Was SHE listening, too!?

Here is what Trump says he said:  “I’m sure he knew what he was signed up for, but when it happens, it hurts anyway.”   Sound horrid to you?   I think that is the highest compliment…someone signed up to serve his country even knowing he could die.   What’s hard to understand about that?

“This might wind up to be Mr. Trump’s Benghazi,” Wilson said.   Um…Mrs. Wilson?  EVERYTHING Trump does is treated like his BENGHAZI in your leftwing media…get over it.

So, when will this be made RACIAL?   What do the four White Soldiers’ families say about Trump’s calls?

“Sgt Johnson, your family has my deepest sympathy over your loss.  I can’t imagine how that feels to them.  Allow me to apologize for this horrible situation that a congresswoman has allowed to happen and for all those sucked into her evil, self-aggrandizing joke at your expense.   Thank you for your service, Sir.  God bless you.”

Career professional victims such as Wilson, Jackson-Lee, Waters, Sharpton, and even Soetoro himself thrive on racism. They actually WANT to be offended, they LIVE to be outraged, they NEED righteous indignation. Without the pity factor, Wilson or Waters or ANY of ‘em could no more be elected than DingleBarry could have been without being outwardly black.

Racism, white supremacy, oppression – those are the spigots of their communal electoral cornucopia. Never mind that Soetoro and (Susan) Rice and Holder and (Hillary) Clinton told FOUR Gold Star families that their sons had died because of a YouTube video. That’s O.K. . . . ‘cause they’re black, and even though Hillary isn’t, she’s still a Democrat.

DingleBarry told cops, ALL cops, that they knew what they were in for when they joined police organizations, that they might one day be killed in the line of duty. He said it was “part of the job you signed up for.” And that’s O.K., because he’s not only black, but a Democrat as well. Trump said the same thing, only less brutally, and is excoriated for it.

NOBODY in D.C. – neither the Dems nor the GOPs – can permit The Donald to get anything done. If he fixes things . . . if he streamlines the tax codes, if he reduces drug flow into the country, if he straightens out the VA, no matter what . . . if Trump solves problems and corrects mistakes that professional politicians have been promising to fix for the last 3 presidencies, it makes them look like losers.

Pelosi is obviously in advancing senility. Waters is hysterical and delusional, who knows from what. Wilson is brainwashed and heavily into BLM mythology. They hate Trump more than they love their country. Their entire anti-Trump motivation is based on the fact that Hillary isn’t in the Oval Office where they think she should be, and her only because of that pesky 22nd Amendment keeping DingleBarry from being PotUS for Life.

Of course the fact that Trump is male AND white just sharpens the cutting edge of their frustration and anger over not getting their way. Even IF DJT gets a balanced budget, IF he gets tax simplication, IF he gets immigration reform, IF he finds a way to decapitate NorK without nuking Pyongyang . . . even if he manages to fix health care, they’ll still call him a racist, an impostor, a dilettante, a hypocrite, a usurper.

Irony is, tho, that they can’t see they’re just like donkeys calling burros jackasses since all those terms apply equally well to themselves.

Will it be made racial. Is the sky blue?

Benghazi was about letting the Libyan’s kill a civilian. The two situations couldn’t be more dissimilar.

I believe Wilson was there on an attack Trump fishing trip. How many times has she gone to visit the spouse of another soldier that was killed or wounded ? Did she ever do anything like this when obama was in office? I’m betting no. I’ve never heard her name before.

I don’t see anything wrong with Kelly being there or his comments about Wilson. I encourage these comments. She had already outed herself as a pathetic tool when she went to some event to honor killed FBI members and got up and spoke about how she got moeny for the building they were standing in front of with no mention of the FBI members. People like this need to be called out and ridiculed. Ridicule early and often.

Black man like Sgt Johnson are totally ignorant and incapable of knowing that special forces operatives are mortal. So the Johnson’s have every right to blame the white boss man for his insensitivity to the man’s death. To think otherwise, that Sgt Johnson bore some responsibility as an Armed Forces volunteer, and that the President was actually crediting him for having this “intelligence”, would be to attribute some form of native “intelligence” to what can only otherwise be described as black beasts.

I admit to some confusion here. I saw the woman on the television backing up the mad hatter, but before then, I saw a tweet that she sent out which supported what Trump had earlier reported. Maybe she was “hacked,” but I have no way of knowing that. In light of this more recent information, I have to support the sentiments expressed by FJ … and I marvel how quickly the black community reaches for the race card. BTW … the phrase “your soldier” does not suggest that Trump did not know the name of her husband. It was, rather, much like saying “your sailor,” or “your Marine,” or “your husband.”

Fj, I almost deleted your first comment….thank you for the second one; you made sense……..you’d have to believe that to take Wilson’s side.

Mustang, you have to agree with me that he had papers in front of him..names, phone numbers…some details by which he could address the grieving families. To say he didn’t know the man’s name is plain STUPID and only inflammatory on Wilson the Pimp’s side.
And she IS pimping; she’s pimping the Johnson family…which I greatly resent for all of America.

MUSTANG: How common IS it for the Joint Chief of Staffs to have to do a press conference and be hounded by “WHAT HAPPENED IN NIGER?” Everybody wants details. Is this even safe for America? Did we ask details on every death in the past? I know we have with some, but….

Kid, I had the same thought. Does Wilson go to the side of other families? White families? In the car with them? (ya, sure)
And this is something a curious and honest media’d be asking.

Bocopro…couldn’t agree with you more; thanks for that.
HEARING ABOUT BOB CORKER? “Do you think Trump’s a role model for kids, Mr. Corker?” CNN asked. “No.”
“Trump is UNABLE to be president…I’ve tried to help, had lunches and dinners, hoping I could help him behave like a president, but he just can’t” (I’m paraphrasing but it was even worse than that.

    @ Z

US and French forces established a base of operations in Niger in 2013; one might recall that this was during the Obama administration. Why no one in the press or why Lindsey Graham seem not to know about these operations for the past four years astounds me. The fact that we’ve encountered casualties in a hostile region would generate interest in any region where US forces are deployed, but it isn’t a product of the current administration.

I’ve seen several “tweets” referring to Niger as Trump’s Benghazi but quite frankly, the only similarity between the two is that both occurred on the same continent.

Jersey Jack and I were discussing the other day how it is possible that so many members of the press ask such stupid questions about military actions and I think we agreed that the answer is this: no one in the press has any understanding of the complexities associated with military operations; most of these people are still living in their cradle of comfort. Many may not even be able to find Niger on a map.

It is also obvious that most in the pampered press have no idea why anyone would join the military services, much less understand that in combat, sometimes things go well, and sometimes they don’t.

So, I think that General Dunford gave his briefing as a means of getting out in front of the claims by some members of congress that they weren’t aware that we had boots on the ground in Niger. I also think the briefing was inspired by Mattis’ meeting with McCain (the poster-child of what’s wrong in the Congress), who was complaining that he didn’t have any information about Special Forces operations there.

I think your confusion in the Johnson matter might have been the same as mine, as “another” gold star widow released a recording of Trump’s call to her, and had nothing but GOOD things to say about it.

This is a no win situation for Trump, no matter what he really said. He would have been better off just apologizing to the widow and going about the nations’ business. That ain’t what happened.

Our brilliant, black, Dale Evans wannabe Congress Person was there to make political hay, and I don’t believe she thought of this all on her own. It is tempting to call her an empty head, but she is quite smart and, like Nancy Pelosi, her talent is in her maliciousness. The Democrats set this up, and taking advantage of a poor widow means nothing to them.

It’s absolutely the dumbest, lowest move yet. I think it is highly appropriate to say that a soldier knows what he signs up for, but leaves the family suffering anyway. It’s true! Since when does Trump mince words or pull punches? His style and delivery are terrible, but yet again, he was authentic and accurate and I think the media needs to focus on the Clintons and Obama and the uranium scandal….. but they won’t.

I’m confused, too. I watched at the WaPo a cell phone video of President Trump’s call to Sgt. Johnson’s widow — at least, I think that’s the particular call that what I watched and listened to. She was obviously flattered and pleased that she was talking to the POTUS.

Funny thing now — I can’t find that video.
