Santa’s Husband? ummmm.. What?

WOW…this really does take the cake………so SO sad.

“Offering a fresh twist on Kris Kringle, a clever yet heartfelt book that tells the story of a black Santa, his white husband, and their life in the North Pole.

Everyone knows that Santa Claus is jolly, but in Santa’s Husband, this cherished symbol of the holiday season is also black and gay, and married to an equally cheery man.”

You comment.  I can’t.

except, leave our kids ALONE.

On what I hope’s a HAPPIER NOTE!>>>here is my recording of “Mary, Did You Know?”, sung about 3 years ago…it’s in a church and it’s me accompanying myself……..recorded on a cell phone!  But many people love this song so, as bad as it’s ‘produced,’ I hope you enjoy it…the lyrics are SO beautiful.   Make sure you read the  paragraph above the image with the song on it…it was a group effort of VERY dear friends, Kid and Mustang!

    How ‘edgy’ of this progressive ‘comedian’ in skewering another wholesome (albeit secular) symbol associated with our christian worship. I read that he was a writer for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Shocker. Another book that will not haunt my library.

    Always love to hear you singing this, Z! So talented! Thank you for sharing.

    “recorded on a cell phone!”
    AMAZING, indeed! It must be nice to be so talented. I never got past ‘Chop Sticks’. I recall sharing this with friends some time ago.

    My comments about human sexuality and the current fad of popularizing aberrant behavior would not be welcome in this type of forum.

    I don’t consider myself a prude, and I definitely find the healthy and active female form both pleasing and alluring, but given my druthers, I’d rather leave some things to the imagination and believe sexual acts between consenting adults should be done in privacy.

    As for the “queering” of saints or icons or prophets or Bible figures, it’ll be acceptable to me only after it’s done equally with Shiva and Buddha and Muhammad.

    Jerry and John…thanks so much. Yes, I’ve posted this nearly every Christmas and it hit me last night to do it again..a tradition!
    Jerry, can you IMAGINE pushing this on KIDS? I don’t care if someone’s gay…fine! But please leave our kids alone; they haven’t even thought of their own sexuality enough for this not to confuse them, lure them, etc.

    :Bocopro…my whole mantra here is against popularizing behavior like this…it’s a private act, consent and do it….but to lionize, champion it…particularly to children, strikes me as SICK. Children love Santa, admire Santa, look up to Santa…….and now this.
    Good luck weeing a book on Gay Mohammed, right?

    I suppose I really ought to come up with a new song but I LOVE this one! Thanks for your nice comments.. the lyrics really touch me and so I love to sing it.

    Mal, ya, cell phone! it’s very unbalanced and all, but the gist of it’s there!!!

    And yes, hard to comment on the hideous subject; I don’t blame you for passing.

    Thanks, Kid and Sparky! xxx (Miss you, Sparky!)

    Educators almost universally express concern for children; they use this expression as justification for what it is they do, and yet, while I cannot say that what they are actually doing to children is intentional, I am reminded that the road to hell is paved with good intention. The fact is that educators are doing so much damage to children, I cannot imagine why parents across this country are not up in arms about what is going on inside our classrooms: pick almost any issue we find abhorrent to modern society, and you’ll discover its incubation period occurred inside our schools, elementary through post-secondary—its genesis in the minds of neo-communists who know that a progressive future is assured through the brainwashing of young minds. There can be no black Santa because Sinter Klaas was never an icon of black culture. Blacks themselves acknowledge this, otherwise the man who was convicted of sexual assault (torture) and false imprisonment of two women by the name of Ronald McKinley Everett (now Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga) would never have invented Kwanza. Transforming Santa into a queer is nothing less than a diabolical scheme to further destroy American culture. Enough is enough. I wish I had never heard about this.

    Few days ago I rewrote an old song lyric (a compulsion of mine). Some of the readers might be old enuf to remember it:

    When I was a little kid, big bands, crooners, and swing were in. People didn’t have TV, just the radio and record players with those big ol’ wax 78s. Women would put a stack of Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby interspersed with Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey and other stuff on the record player

    And then when the stack had finished, they’d lift ‘em up back onto the arm and start it again. Man, I got tired of Bing. And certainly could do without Frankie. Glad when Mom would tune in the Grand Ol’ Opry on the radio. Really happy when we got some other singers, such as Dean Martin and Doris Day.

    Anyway, lookin for somethin else this mornin, I came across what’s perhaps Bing Crosby’s eternal tag song. Simple little thing, but actually kinda provocative in its own way. Fortunately, I haven’t heard it for decades, so I didn’t twist my arm outta shape tryin to kill the sound when it came on.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Where the blue of the night
    Meets the gold of the day
    Someone waits for me
    And the gold of her hair
    Crowns the blue of her eyes
    Like a halo, tenderly
    If only I could see her
    Oh how happy I would be
    Where the blue of the night
    Meets the gold of the day
    Someone waits for me
    BUT – I couldn’t let it go without a rewrite for today’s world. I mean, it was as ubiquitous in the 40s as fake news is today. So here are the lyrics updated to fit Congress:
    Where the blue democrats
    Meet the red’publicans
    Gridlock’s all you see.
    And the red is for ink
    While the blues, they just stink
    Legis-lative-ly.
    If only they could reason,
    How lucky we would be.
    But the blue just resist
    So the red can’t untwist
    Fiscal entropy.
    Holy sh** Mustang – I had no idea THAT was the inventor of Kwanza. I remember this incident, but didn’t know THIS was the guy. His hagiographers conveniently leave out that he tortured 2 women, skip backward to the “K” and forward to his being a professor. Everyone can find redemption after sin, but this is not his story. So this trash heap shifts the gaze of a generation of American blacks away from the richness of Christmas with other feel good stuff that’s only a distraction.
    About the book – yes, the fact that it could even get off the ground speaks volumes. What a terrible thing we [the “Village”] are doing to our children. It’s stuff like this that make you think ‘judgement day’ will be very long indeed.
    Very beautiful, as always.
    I think it’s something that such a beautiful song was written by such a funny comedian.
    I was just telling a guy in the diner (I just met my twin separated from birth by a different mother tonight) about Mark Lowry and that song.
    I can’t either and expect that the, so called, “parents” must be about as screwed-up as the teachers and administration(s) that are responsible for this. How in the #e!! would anyone like to try to raise a child today? What are the chances that such a child will even be sustained in a [normal] two parent (man/woman) environment ? I’m sick and tired of hearing about the “single family” home. It’s not a “family” so knock-off the BS; it’s a “broken” home and euphemism changes nothing!
    My guess it that most parents don’t give a rat’s hind parts. They’re too busy keeping up with the Joneses and don’t even know what goes on at school. I also think a significant number of them (over 70%) actually buy into the social engineering garbage. Yes, my 5 year old son needs to know how to put a condom on a cucumber… Yes, maybe my 5 year old child needs to know about the gender options available to them… I do believe that.
    I won’t go further as it might become pornagraphic to some. I’ll just say that at No Time during my upbringing and education did I need to examine my gender options nor did I know anyone at any age who would have benefitted from such a program. Ever. The kids better figure this out or they are screwed in America.
    Kid, said it’s the kids who’d better figure this out, isn’t it. WHO EVER HEARD THIS CRAP WHEN WE WERE IN SCHOOL? Who questioned their GENDER?
    If people are gay, transgender…whatever…do it as an ADULT…leave our kids alone to figure out school before they have to figure out their sexuality, which they haven’t a clue about yet, anyway.
