On Alan Dershowitz’ fair and even positive analyses of Trump and his agenda, he says about his appearances on FOX, etc.: “My really, really close friends say, ‘You’re 100 percent right in your analysis, but can’t you just shut the f—k up and not talk at all,’” he said. “They tell me, ‘This is a time for selective silence.’ My nephew thinks I’m helping keep in office one of the greatest dangers in American history. I tell him I’m just standing up for principle. He tells me that I don’t have to stand up so loud.”
That says it ALL to me; the Left knows Dershowitz is correct but can’t admit it and wish he’d shut (the f-k) up about it. SO TYPICAL. Shhhhh!! We can’t let the Right win…they can’t be right!

2) There are some on the right, some friends even, who feel they must point out every flaw of Trump, and I wish they’d shut up. It gets tedious when they can’t say anything positive, also.

Off topic, but important…. legalizing marijuana is one of the worst decisions of our time. There is much work to be done to reduce incarceration and recidivism, but flooding communities with drugs will do nothing but exacerbate the problems.

I am suspicious of him…. He blatantly said that all the money received from the Clinton Foundation goes to charity last week,,,15 percent goes last time I checked.. just saying…. In the end, he will support Hillary to the teeth…IMO.

I’ve been one to slam Trump when I feel he deserves it, but I DO IT HERE. I wish CNN wasn’t having a BLAST interviewing Republican politicians who aren’t running this coming year. No matter what the politician says, I’ve noticed, the CNN interviewer insists “So it’s TRUMP you’re not going to run because of?” The interviewer INSISTS even as the Republican doesn’t quite say that…but they DO give ammunition to the left.

There are still true Conservatives on FOX, no doubt about that….Julie Bandera, Shannon Bream, Jon Scott, Bill Hemmer,…not to mention the more famous ones like Carlson and Watters, Guilfoyle, Gutfeld, etc.,..and many of its contributors (Strassel (love), Regan, etc.) but there are quite a few who make snide comments that irk me.
I don’t mind if it’s honest, but they go overboard and they’re all we’ve got other than OAN, which is still not gaining in production value enough to keep me there (I admit it) or viewers, sadly.

Oh gad…now I wonder why Trump opened himself to ridicule again by having a big truck parked around the golf course blocking the view of the media…the same truck which was parked later at the Sheriff’s Dept.
Of course CNN takes this opportunity to remind America of how Trump had frequently slammed Obama for playing golf and saying he himself didn’t have time to play. The story opens with “..as Trump played ANOTHER round of golf…”

Here’s an interesting tidbit as reported by Mark Steyn. I think Polls are all BS, but if the same poll is used and we’re just comparing apples and apples…
After a year in office, both obama and Trump are reported to have a 46% approval rating. The glaring difference is that obema had major positive coverage by the media while Trump is about 97% negative coverage. I don’t think the media really matters that much to thinking sensient people. I also think the cartoonly negative coverage works to his favor.

Kid, I LOVE Mark Steyn….and I think you make a good point. I do think media is more relevant than a lot of you here think, because I do read leftwing news from time to time and watch CNN so I know what’s being said…..but I have said here that I think the constant negativity is beginning to get old even to Dems.
Of course, stuff like the truck at the golf course wasn’t necessary and gives fodder to the left (I mentioned it in a comment above)…
