Sunday Faith Blog

I know a LOT of sad things already this year….Lymphoma diagnosis for a 23 year old delightful girl with a brilliant future, the death of a friend’s mother, etc……

Let’s do a PRAYER LIST here today……..tell us, first name only, who you’d like prayed for…family, friends, country?Ā  ANYTHING.

Mine include Leah and the lymphoma patient, Amanda.

Your turn…Prayer works…though we don’t always hear the answer we think is best for us.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:12.

Have a blessed Sunday!

My father passed on May 8, 2017. I pray for him but maybe we need the prayers more than he does.

We’ve had an on-going prayer for my wife. After having experienced vertigo on and off since the 1990’s, suddenly one weekend last November she had 7 vertigo attacks in a 24 hour period, ending up in the hospital for 4 days and weighed only 95 lbs. Shortly after release, she had just one short attack and has since been doing great, with some minor problems. She will be 83 on Jan. 21 so we are hoping the worst is behind her. Believe me, the older we get, the more difficult it is to take pain.

Are you sure you have the storage capacity for this answer? šŸ™‚ Just recognizing our need.

I would pray for “G” to have God’s peace wash over her after the death of her son, for Antonette to be open to Jesus, and for Mr. B in his neurological deterioration. Trump, our shield absorbing all the fiery darts of the media … every day.

Am hoping we all keep all these prayers in our own prayers, at least once!
