“Henry Kissinger’s Remarks About Trump

Henry Kissinger, an American diplomat and political scientist, served as the United States Secretary of State and National Security Advisor under the presidential administrations of Richard Nixon. He is one of the politicians who really understand politics and cares what people think about.

On Sunday he did an interview and said very amazing things regarding PresidentTrump, UConservative  reports He starts with: “Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven’t seen.”

“Liberals and all those who favor Clinton will never admit it. They will never admit that he is the one true leader. The man is doing changes like never before and does all of it for the sake of this nation’s people. After eight years of tyranny, we finally see a difference.”

Kissinger knows it and he continues with: “Every country now has to consider two things: One, their perception that the previous president, or the outgoing president, basically withdrew America from international politics, so that they had to make their own assessments of their necessities.

And secondly, that there is a new president who’s asking a lot of unfamiliar questions. And because of the combination of the partial vacuum and the new questions, one could imagine that something remarkable and new emerges out of it””

HERE is more…and MORE HERE………definitely worth reading.

I respect Kissinger…I am encouraged by his take.  I pray (hard) that Trump stops jumping on every compliment, as he did the Hatch comment “I love listening to him (Orrin Hatch) speak … he actually once said I’m the greatest president in the history of our country and I said, ‘does that include Lincoln and Washington?’ He said, ‘yes.’ I said, ‘I love this guy,’” Mr. Trump recounted.”   Oh, the Left had a holiday with that, and who wouldn’t?  Even if he WERE a great president, STOP IT!!  Be a little gracious, humble…!

Thoughts on the Kissinger comments?

We’ve been saying this for over a year Z.

  2. Kissinger summed up the obvious and it’s nice to have a man of his stature say it.
As to your comment, he IS a great president.
Should the Republic survive, it will be in great measure due to his election and activity.
Would we like him to be more humble?
Maybe he wouldn’t be as effective.
    He’s no wallflower.

Henry and I concur on the merits of President Trump. I also concur with Kid (above).

Re: the Hatch comment, I think that was Trump’s sense of humor at work. I don’t think people give him enough credit for it and automatically assume he’s just preening.

  4. I agree with Cube. I see alot of my own sense of humor in Trump. And it’s often misinterpreted.
    Or just not funny :).

Kid, my point is that someone I’ve always admired believes this, not that we didn’t know it.

So wish I didn’t see things that show me otherwise than all of you feel…truly do!
Glad he has SUCH STALWART supporters…

    Shocked to see this in a devotion I get from Rick Warren, who I’m not a tremendous admirer of but he sure does great devotions;

This part of me stunned me and got me thinking “One time I had the privilege of lecturing at Oxford University, and while I was there, I was invited to attend a meeting of Oxford Analytica — a group you’ve never heard of but one that has enormous influence in the world. Every day at about 6 a.m. the leading scholars of Oxford gather in a room to get reports from all around the world about what’s happened in the previous 24 hours, from crop prices rising in China to more unrest in the Middle East. Then they make the decision about what needs to be said about it. By 11 a.m. a report has been given to groups that pay big bucks for this information, such as the CIA and major corporations.”

OXFORD ANALYTICA? The CIA and MAJOR CORPORATIONS? Does anybody here think many of the Oxford “leading scholars” are Conservative?
This answers a lot of questions and opens the door to many more. What the HECK?

We have to accept that humility isn’t part of his package. I, too, would like to see it occasionally (I think we did once). thanks for sharing the Kissinger comments. It voices what we’ve all come to recognize but from a “reliable” inside-the-beltway type source, and one perceived as a centrist and not particularly on the right. But keen. Unusual plain speaking for this sort.

And Oxford Analytica? Never heard of them. Not surprised, though. Yes, I doubt their opinions are being filtered through the eyes of the great Oxford Don himself, CS Lewis.

  8. cube says:

I’d never heard of them before, but I’m hoping that many of the Oxford Analytica scholars are conservative. We’ve come too far to succumb to bypass rational thought and critical thinking when it comes to the future of our planet.

Baysider, thanks….we have to accept humility isn’t part of the package, and that things like “LITTLE Adam Schiff” and other churlish, childish things TOTALLY detract (not call attention to, not enhance) from what Trump’s saying. TOTALLY. As Trump would say “VERY SAD”..

Reagan did it so well…TOUGH as they come!!! Gracious!!! nasty when needed but NEVER NEVER childish or insulting….oh, for Reagan today….and I believe Trump could be that man…….and isn’t.

So far I don’t see DJT as any “great president,” but I do see him as an absolutely vital shot of castor oil for a constipated status quo of bipartisan can-kickers locked in eternal mortal combat over whether legitimate American citizens or illegal aliens are more important for our future.

And let’s face it . . . he may not be a Lodge, or a Roosevelt, and certainly not a Wilson, but if you’re askin a guy to write down names, strike bold lines through them, and sweep out the deadwood, THIS is who you want behind the Resolute Desk, not a Jimmah or a DingleBarry:

Time will tell, of course, whether we waited too long to bring in the clean-up squad, and I’ll just leave the lectern with this parting shot: Any entity calling itself the United States of America in the year 2050 will in NO FREAKIN WAY resemble the USA of 1950, not economically, not politically, not militarily, not industrially, not culturally, and not even cartographically.

  11. geeez2014 says:

Bocopro…AMEN, he is DEFINITELY a shot of castor oil for this constipated status quo…no doubt about that! Well said! And yes, TIME WILL TELL. My only ‘beef’ is his delivery and how FAR he’d be now, even farther than he is with his projects, if he carried himself differently…

“I believe Trump could be that man…….and isn’t.”
No..he’s not. Nor was anyone else before him or after either. Nor did we have another LIncoln, Kennedy or FDR. We didn’t want anyone of them again….we elected him because we’re sick of DC, it’s warts and its incredible corruption. Let Trump be Trump.

I noticed that Mr.Kissenger didn’t mention his tweets or what he said or should have said or shouldn’t have said either. In a few words, he recognized a great President. And it appears his first year was more, way more successful that Ronnies first year, by a wide margin when we realize the amount of legislation he’s changed, written & been responsible for. Massive changes.

  14. geeez2014 says:

Well, Jersey JaCk! Another GREAT TRUMP LOVER….glad to hear it~~!

I’m ALL FOR TRUMP versus most others, particularly the hideous libs, but I have to admit I see his shortcomings and hate that he gives the rest of America who doesn’t like him at ALL to just PILE IT ON himself and Republicans!

Oh well..remind me not to do a post like this one again! I can’t believe I can say “childish” and people don’t see that…etc etc…But I’m happy he has such fans. He’s definitely going to need them!
