Melania v Hillary………..another double standard?

THE ULTIMATE IN HYPOCRISY IS ONLY PARTIALLY EXPOSED BELOW IN TWEETS SAYING MELANIA TRUMP IS NOT COURAGEOUS BECAUSE SHE WON’T LEAVE HER HUSBAND FOR HIS INFIDELITY.

DO YOU REMEMBER ANY LEFTWINGERS ATTACKING HILLARY CLINTON FOR NOT LEAVING BILL CLINTON WHEN HE WAS FOUND TO HAVE HAD SO MANY DALLIANCES, INCLUDING WHILE IN THE WHITE HOUSE?

Clinton’s book promotion: “Even if just his old girlfriends buy it, we’ll make millions.”

BY THE WAY, THE QUINTESSENTIAL IRONY IS THAT PEOPLE LIKE THE WOMEN BELOW, AND ANDERSON COOPER, WHOSE FINE JOURNALISM PROMPTED HIM TO ASK THE LATEST GIRL WHO SAYS SHE HAD AN AFFAIR WITH TRUMP “DID HE HAVE ANY NICKNAME FOR YOU?” WOULD ALL VOTE FOR BILL CLINTON TOMORROW IF THEY COULD, OR MAYBE SOONER, RIGHT?   UNREAL

@FLOTUS You’re not being courageous by staying with your cheating, lying, bullying husband. Quite the opposite. The courageous thing would be to stand up to him. So please, don’t speak to women about courage.

HELLO, Rightwing press?    Hello?……………..Hello?………………….uh….hello???……………………………….

Wake UP, Republicans………..fight fire with fire.

  1. Courage? Perhaps.

What is probably true is Melania must be experiencing an overwhelming feeling of humiliation. At many levels.

One can only imagine how Melania and tRump’s son must feel about his father’s infidelity (multiple times with multiple women) to his mother.

Money and power talks. We’re sure Melania will get over it. Just like Hillary did. His son probably will too.

This only works if one assumes that the “allegations” are true. Mr. Trump denies having an affair with the Daniels woman. Until the issue is proved, then this is all blather unbefitting serious discourse. We have got to stop convicting people on the basis of unproven allegations; far too many innocent people have been ruined by lies and innuendo.

Oh, my goodness!!! THAT is loyalty toward Trump, Mustang and Ed!!!

OKKAAAY then….Let’s assume Trump NEVER had affairs with other women, NONE of those with the details coming forward….um…..let’s ‘assume’ these are just ‘allegations’ and respond to my post.

“IF” (you need to see more of the details!!) it’s true, then WHY should Melania be somehow COURAGEOUS and LEAVE HER HUSBAND for CHEATING ON HER, when Hillary supporters gave her a pass, though they KNEW he’d had affairs, and applaud her keeping her family together?

    Let’s start there now 🙂

Les, I’m not sure women or children get over this type of thing; I hope you’re right.
I doubt Hillary ever did, having gone on The Today Show denying for her husband, then facts coming out…
Melania’s foreign so she’s probably not quite as shocked or stunned by any of this…and, sadly, I can’t put it past a man with Trump’s insecurities and ego (yes, at the same time, which isn’t unusual) to have cheated………
The Left won’t stop; they are digging and digging for any slightest insult to him, and, sadly, these women are happy to get not only rich from keeping their accusations hushed these last years, but now getting even richer for telling their stories today.

Why would STormie’s lawyer, and others, represent these women if the women are “going to losr money for breaking their nondisclosure agreements”? As I said above, experts say Daniels will “lose one million dollar for talking”……….these aren’t rich women; so who’s paying their lawyers if the lawyers don’t see enough detail to believe the stories…and, if the stories are proven, then what? Law suits..? How’s the lawyer going to make any money, true or not? Would he take these cases if he doesn’t see enough facts/figures which prove they’re true?

THE DNC or SOROS will pay. I’m convinced. I think this story well deserves discussion…thanks for coming by and weighing in.

This is seedy, but does infidelity mean a man can’t run a country? I think not.

Besides, isn’t whatever happened or didn’t happen a personal matter between two members of a married couple.?

A German friend just emailed me….on Trump, he says “As for Trump, I’m convinced he’s a very talented player. His often-used obscene and false statements are intended, in my understanding,
to make an impression on his direct and most loyal followers. His number one goal is to secure votes for the next congressional elections.
But what he actually achieved, in fact, is very positive. Others would not have done it within just one year of his administration.
His current request to increase the import duty on steel and copper raises questions and doubts. Of the steel actually consumed in the US,
only 3% came from China, 17% from Canada. Canada, he initially exempted from the increase, China he didn’t. Is not that inconsistent?”

I found his support interesting and positive!

See, some here think if I dare say anything remotely negative about Trump, however true, that I HATE TRUMP! implying I WANT HILLARY or ANY DEMOCRAT??!!!!! But, no….I’m just honest….and would love discussion on some of it, but our fears get in the way.

Always On Watch…yes, that is something I’ve been saying for a long time; it was hideous to see accusations of every man in Hollywood because Weinstein screwed up so badly.

I was hoping to get a conversation going regarding FAIRNESS, regarding the treatment of Melania and Hillary on a similar subject.
I actually never said I thought all of the Trump accusations were true in my post…take a look.
This was conjecture and I stand by it strongly; this is total hypocrisy…and it’s important to see it and a fascinating subject, in my mind!

As for the PERSONAL aspect; did we feel that way about Clinton and Lewinski and Flowers and others? I don’t think so. But I AGREE with you….
Sadly, and I know this to be true, foreign men and women take infidelity more in their stride, and Melania won’t react like most American women would, anyway, but to be under the SPOTLIGHT makes it less personal, sadly. The Trumps have to function in an ugly world and, sadly, Trump will suffer for 10 yr old indiscretions, which I believe is unfair………But Republicans still like to bring up Clinton/Lewinski. That happened in the WH, so it sort of involved Americans…but the rest of his affairs didn’t.

Mustang and Ed, I believe you all know I’m a Trump believer and backer and still am, but I don’t think innocence is possible here because Trump apparently did pay millions to these women through his attorney for their silence, didn’t he? Thats what I’ve been hearing and seeing on the news. If so, how is it possible he didn’t do these things?

Mal, as much as we all hope nothing comes of this, it’s done its dirty, dastardly job and condemned Trump, guilty or not. Of course, most people see him, hear him, and think he’s probably done some dallying…..! BUT, isn’t the hypocrisy incredible?!! They’d vote for Bill Clinton tomorrow, knowing without a doubt what he did!..many times! 🙂

Perhaps it’s more cost effective that dealing with court.

Also, payouts would, to a great degree, protect Melania and Barron.

Anyway, I’ll be honest….I yawn when I hear stories that Trump was screwing around years ago. I also yawn when I see the title of another Monica article or interview. Old news. Not even news.

AOW, payouts usually get found out, and now here we are. I agree, a lot of men pay off women just to avoid court….that’s getting more and more dangerous, but only for the Right because I’m not sure we have the amount of Leftists looking to dig any possible thing up on a Republican.

I think the point of my post was clear…..we all yawn at sexual dalliances and my point isn’t condemning Trump for sex scandals….but I FIND the HYPOCRISY important, stunning, and worth considering…even with just a guffaw 🙂

AOW, of course paying for their silence is more cost effective. I was only referring to the ”innocent till guilty” comment, like it hadn’t been proven yet. The fact he paid them is self evident.
All that being said, I still don/t give a rats a$$ if he did them. I’m only interested in having him do what we “hired” him to do…………….MAGA…..MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Mal, how did DACA fit (or not fit) into the Omnibus bill? It isn’t a financial line-item is it? I mean, it’s one thing to create a plan for the Dreamers, but must it cost us millions, too?
Do you know if DACA will cost us much? Why should it?

I have no idea the cost for DACA. Assuming “there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch” it will cost us for sure, but how much? I doubt anybody does, including D.C. I’m sure the left has accounted for all that, being as they are so cost-conscious! (sarcasm).

Dear Z … I do not and have not ever intended to criticize you. This is your blog and I am your guest. You’ve invited comments and I occasionally feel compelled to leave you with my thoughts. Yes, you are correct to say that the hypocrisy is palpable, but then with Trump there is no blue dress to confirm claims of infidelity. I honestly do not care about Mr. Trump’s interpersonal relationships. “Let he among you who is without sin cast the first stone.”

The truth is, I didn’t vote in the last general election because I was blissfully traveling by foot across northern Spain. I may not ever vote in another election because I’ve reached the point of not giving a damn about American politics. So, to respond to your claim, I have not set Mr. Trump upon a pillar. I do think that it is patently unfair to castigate anyone (emphasis on anyone) based on rumor, or overtone. I am not fit to judge any man, but I think it is fair to comment generally on how unkind we Americans have become. Imagine, a Christian society resorting to speculation as political weapons.

For me personally, there are more important things in what is left for me in this life … I can do without the 24/7 hatefulness that seems to permeate our society. I can’t control the destiny of America, but I do have something to say about how I live my life. I’d rather live it in peace, to see the beauty in things rather than the harsh path our political structure would have us follow.

No, I wasn’t attacking you at all. I was simply offering you an opinion … which is what you asked for. It may not have been what you wanted to hear, but that’s the thing about opinions … right? Still, if my comments upset you, or if you’d prefer that I not comment here, simply let me know.

Mustang, my post and comment must not be clear because I said that it’s not I who believes all these allegations, though I think they’re probably true, it was all about hypocrisy and pointing it out.

As I expect and appreciate honesty in my friends who comment here, it’s difficult for me not to be understood and get remarks which clearly show me that. Also, this is a political blog, so if my posts upset you or you feel they bring you down, I’m sorry about that, but there isn’t much happiness to report anymore.!
I, too, believe there’s far, far too much hate in America and perhaps it’s time to stop blogging because, trust me, I’ve tried to write only positive posts, good-news, feel good stories, and then I miss my commenters. Silence. The angrier and more provocative I go, the better the conversations thrive and excite. Sad, but true. “If it bleeds, it leads”

I like hypothesis, I do think it’s worth discussion…like on sex scandals….This is a good place for me to ‘vent’ and I always will.

Ed, you and us bloggers might be the only conservative press left.
