Good Friday with a good way to describe it…

I’d have printed this larger but it wouldn’t work.  Please see the text below thiscartoon……….it’s well worth it!

“I hate the term ‘Good Friday'”

“Why?”

“My Lord was hanged on a tree that day.”

“If you were going to be hanged on that day, and He volunteered to take your place, how would you feel?”

“Good.”

“Have a nice day.”

In a nutshell.  Amen.

  1. One of the most important prophetic writings on the Bible is Psalm 22.
    It cannot be ignored.
    Yet it is.

  2. And it is a Good day, like you said.
    The day he bought us.
    He wanted us that much.
“For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross…”

  5. Well, obviously, one is a case of common sense choice of affiliation and the other is a hate crime.
But I can’t figure out which is which.

Just another example of dual standards in America today. It makes sense when we see what HRC and Obum got away with, doesn’t it? We won’t even talk about the media!

It fills my heart with joy when I see others taking delight in God’s Holy Word too. When I consider what Jesus did for us, tears swell into my eyes and I get lump in my throat. HE chose the nails, you know, for us sinners. We are the ones who deserve punishment and banishment, but because of His perfect love for all mankind HE hung on the cross in my stead. I am so unworthy. My heart sings saying with gratitude saying “Yes, I believe in YOU! Thank you Holy Father for your love and forgiveness.” That’s why I want to share this with everyone, that they too may be saved. That no one will be left behind. HE mends broken hearts and saves the unworthy. ❤

BC had a lot of pithiness. This is great! I’ve been lucky to get a project with a favorite client — and forgot the time. I swore for sure I’d get to a Good Friday service. Thanks for the reminder.
