I didn’t know this. Part of me is kinda terrified, though, that the IRS has this much power. I say we go the defund the IRS route and go back to the way things were before the creation of this monster. Just sayin’. 😉 Besides, you know that they are Leftist like the Colleges / Universities. They’ll never shut them down. Won’t happen.

I hope the IRS will follow through with this. If anyone could put pressure on them to do so, Trump is the one.

Very simple solution here: Abolish the IRS and ban Islam.

And while we’re at it, let’s get rid of the EPA, the DoE (both Education and Energy), and lobbyists.

We probably could get along nicely without CNN, too.

  5. I don’t have high hopes. Trump hasn’t been aggressive at the DOJ, and the IRS is more interested in persecuting Christians and Tea Party groups.

I assume that the IRS will define “radical ideology.” This may seem to be a good idea, until IRS re-targets conservatives as “radical”.

Mustang; THEREIN lies the problem; who’s ‘radical’ and who isn’t? You’re right….as ED says…and who’d have ever thought this could happen in America? (that’s a rhetorical question…)

Ed, have you thought about why Trump hasn’t been aggressive?

    Bocopro: PERFECT!

Sparky…seems to me people did a lot better financially before the IRS! Now it’s a kind of ‘gotcha!’ tool. If there was ever a swamp that needed draining!

Kid and Mal….what are the chances??

I believe all of this ridiculous pro-terror stance (let’s face it, it IS) in our schools today is because we lost track of RIGHT and WRONG and we’ve taught our kids to HATE AMERICA, quite literally. They’ll follow anything that says AMERICA IS WRONG.

WHEN WE DON’T KNOW RIGHT FROM WRONG (and I don’t care what anybody says, there IS a difference and we’d all probably agree on 99% of any list any of us made) WE HAVE TOTALLY LOST EVERYTHING.

EVERYONE STILL HERE: BRETT BAIER IS INTERVIEWING COMEY AT 6PM EST. 3:00 fellow West Coasters. I’m eager to hear this.

I learned from the 15 minutes I saw of him on CNN yesterday that “Comey thinks he’s fabulous and he’s desperate for us to think so, too” In a nutshell.

  10. Bret Baier did a good job.
As for Trump, I heard he said that he was keeping distant, but that won’t last forever if he doesn’t see movement.

If I wasn’t convinced before…I am now that comey ( with an intentional small c ) is a sanctimonious, deceitful, disingenuous son of a bitch! And I’m disgusted that this creep, this narcissist, this liar once headed the FBI….which he has done irreversible damage to. This asshat has more “I don’t recall, I don’t remember, I don’t know moments than the queen of those phrases and a serial liar, Hillary the satanic beast from hell. I hope he makes millions from that book of self-serving lies and has to spend every dime on his lawyers or his doctors.

I agree on that, Mr.Ed. I especially hate it when I see them run the entire width of the page.
Oh…and thanks so much for the compliment you made to me the other day. I appreciate when someone sees the sweat on my brow when I attempt to rise from my lowly, traditional, Jersey roots.

I wonder where comey is from, but I think I know where he’s going.

Jack, Comey has serious personality, emotional, and meglomaniac disorders brought on by receiving way too much money from the clinton crime family starting in 1993 or so. obama no doubt helped with the meglomaniac disorders, and of course perverted sexual encounters with the hildebeast scrambled his brains beyond reality as it did with bill clinton.

Ed…I have really mixed feelings about Trump’s announcement…..it doesn’t ‘read’ as bad as it sounds when you hear him say it all.
And I don’t know that a president should get so involved in DoJ; On the other hand; where the HECk are they, right? UGH.

I watched COmey on Baier’s show and he almost literally turned my stomach. Had very odd reaction to listening to him and I trust my gut. The comment I made above (surprise!) stands…he thinks he’s just WONDERFUL and needs us to, as well.

I got FAR FAR more info from watching (the excellent) Herridge, (the VERY wonderful , who I always like) MollieHemingway, Degenova and (the waste of time) Mara Liasson, than I did actually hearing Comey.

He worms out of EVERY question….so it was good to hear the panel hold his huge feet to the fire.

Think Sessions will last much longer?

Jack, seems like the DoJ should be part of the Judicial Branch, but you’re right…thanks!
