The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost,
Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration,
politics without God, heaven without hell.
William Booth
“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.”
― William Saroyan
The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery. -- Winston Churchill
Ignorance is not an opinion, liberals
I believe in Christianity as I believe the sun has risen; not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Well . . . not to be excessively harsh, but apparently they majored in Elves, Unicorns, and Pixie Dust at Georgetown.
As Ron White so eloquently said, “You can’t fix stupid.”
Yeah, think I’ll go with Winnie on this one: “How dreadful the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.”
And then later, “Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”
Then in closing, maybe they shoulda listened to Santayana: “Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them.” [Not sure that’s a direct quote, but close enuf.]

Making nice-nice with Moslems is a dead end game, literally.
Well prior to 9/11, I made nice-nice with our Moslem neighbor, who moved in around 1992. He was a nominal Moslem — until one day he wasn’t. Thank God he moved back to the United Arab Emirates for good in the summer of 2001.
Who got my neighbor’s house? A leader of Hamas in the next town over from me. That guy was hanging around my neighbor’s house starting in 1996, so I recognized him when his photo appeared in the paper.
Jihad was that close to me.

This is evolution. How can we get the rest of the libs to go try this out.
I read a similar story about a couple who felt like life in their prime years was slipping away because they spent 8 hrs a day working so they both quit their jobs and bought a boat. They sank the boat poste haste so they started a go fund me to have people finance their years long vacation and get them another boat. I decided not to contribute.

KIDDDDDDDD!!!!! “This is evolution. How can we get the rest of the libs to go try this out.” Laughing out LOUD here! That is HILARIOUS! I needed the laugh, thanks! 🙂
AOW, that’s an amazing story..SCARY! I had rich Arabs across the street from my apartment in Paris….on the evening of 9/11, suddenly their window coverings opened (they’d never been opened before so these people didn’t live there full time and only some light from other windows ever appeared..maybe cleaning staff) and dark swarthy men started arriving and they’d point to their front windows (directly facing mine)…and they’d smack each other on the back, smiling, laughing, pointing as new people arrived (all men, by the way)….I kept thinking ‘what are they looking at?” then I realized they had their TV, like we did, against the wall the windows were on…we were watching 9/11 coverage, of COURSE, it had happened that day!, and it sunk in they were celebrating.
Here’s stupid me willing to give them the benefit of the doubt…I went through nearly every TV channel looking for a soccer game they might be celebrating. Nope. No game.
They were celebrating 9/11 across the street. Don’t think I didn’t search the internet for how to advise the FBI…..didn’t find anything and gave up, but I did get in the building soon after that and figured out the floor level and saw an Arab name on the list….
pigs.
Mustang..TRULY!
Bocopro…Winnie was right………early on, wasn’t he. And did we listen? We’re still releasing muslim killers! “they didn’t really prove it…”

Bocopro…’who knows,’ indeed! GOOD ONE 🙂
My idol Leon Russell sings a song and asks a question in the lyric and responds “The SHADOW DO..>!” 🙂
Mal, as you might remember, Mom was born in Istanbul and had to move to Cairo when her dad died and they had to move to Cairo…….she was so on guard around Arabs when she got to Los Angeles, at 18 yrs old, that she was afraid of my grandma’s Black cleaning lady, Minnie, the sweetest, nicest, adorable woman God ever created, until she could relax and remember she’s not an Arab. Obviously, not all Arabs in Cairo are bad!!!!!! Not by a long shot…lots of Christian Arabs, took, Coptics, of course….but she, to this day, 70 years later, says “never trust Arabs, they’ll turn on you….”
Did you all know Arabs are so afraid to show impoliteness that they’ll give wrong directions instead of saying they can’t help you find somewhere? They’re too PROUD to not know is my translation of that…
The couple in my post’s story will haunt me………they must have shown SUCH American openness and kindness…………..knifed to death for it.
Says a LOT, folks.

Don’t y’all think it’s a bit wild that the Feds have bulldozed the New Mexico site where all those muslims were training kids to kill school children and killed one of their own? WHAT?

Saw that thing about destroying the camp. Haven’t heard much else. I wonder if the kids are in protective custody for example. Some seriously disgusting going’s on in this country, aided by judges no less.

Z, what you saw across the street from your apt. in Paris, Muslim men celebrating, well on our t.v. news I saw the same thing BY MEXICANS in Mexico! Not Arabs. Mexicans celebrating their fellow Christians to the North being killed by Muslim terrorists. We were disgusted by their attitude.

As for that poor couple who were stabbed to death by Arab Muslims, there are a few clues that may have given normal people an idea of their future.
1. They were vegetarians. Now, everybody knows that veggie people are about a quart low on brains.
2. The guy was a Federal Government employee and the lady was an employee at a university. This means that their kooky ideas were amplified by their respective echo-chambers, and underlines the fact that they had no idea of the state of reality in the world.
3. They decided to take their leisure in a bunch of Muslim countries, That decision was terminal.
They were obviously Democrats which should tell you something. These were people not at the top of the intellectual food chain.

Did you see kid’s comment above? Cracked me up: “This is evolution. How can we get the rest of the libs to go try this out.” HAAA!
Bob…excellent points…they were VERY stupid, typical kind Americans who JUST DON’T GET THAT ALL PEOPLE AREN’T LIKE US. Americans just don’t GET IT. And we had BETTER.
I’m like my Dad was “LIKE EVERYBODY UNTIL THEY DON”T DESERVE IT!” He’d say “Be more like your MOM, she doubts people till they prove they’re okay to like” He was born here, she was raised in Cairo…end of story!
AND, OFF TOPIC and I KNOW NONE OF YOU WILL LIKE THIS:
I’m SO SICK of seeing constant anti-Trump articles…and they’re everywhere….
They have THE gaudiest furnishings EVER in their Trump apartment…all gold baroque disgusting…now it’s coming out Melania’s had ordered nice, modern lines and he changed it all to baroque gold disgust for the WH!!.
The stories are overwhelming……..Now there’s word that some people “who know them” (and Omarosa, of course) are saying Melania’s counting the days till he’s not pres so she can divorce him. If one tenth of the news about him and her is true, I’m counting with her.

omarosa has a Long history of personality disorder type problems going back to clinton’s white house at least.
Outside of that, 98% of the media hates Trump. Large swaths of all of the intel agencies and the DOJ not only hate Trump but consider him a threat to them personally – if he were to get rid of Sessions and rosie and put someone in that will do the job. The democrats have No Plan, No Message and are in a self-preservation Panic.
They’re all like vampires chained and waiting to be drug out into the sunlight at dawn.
Given this what kind of stuff do you expect to read about Trump every day. 🙂

He’s been around for several years . . . had some serious health problems and a fire, or a flood, or whatever, which put the kibosh on his attacks on libs.
Recently got re-outfitted and back in full swing. He’s kinda like me and my rants — pickin up bits and pieces from all over the place and weavin ’em into a tapestry designed to smother leftistas.

Ok Z, Now you’ve taken us into the land of ‘perfection is impossible’. (Honestly, I winced a little when DJT called omarossa a dog). But check with me in 2020 and ask if I’m gonna vote for a shiester lawyer -avenneti, or the pedophile joey biden and subject yourself to a belly laugh of significant proportion.

To further clarify, you seem to put a lot of weight on the persona where as I really don’t care, I am only interested in actions/non-actions.
We will remember Neil Gorsuch on the SC LONG after we remember DJT calling omarosa a dog (woof)
That’s not a criticism, just an observation. We’re different and it’s good.

Kid and Mal, so you think I’m not interested in action? How many times (a million??) have I said I totally get that what HAPPENS, what he DOES, is the most important thing, that there is NO WAY I’d vote Lefty!!!( You really think that?!) , but how powerful Trump could be if only he’d stop the behavior that’s so easily and understandably slammed?

The story reminds me of when I was going to college. We lived off campus. I really did have street smarts. So I thought. Looking back, I was naive to say the least. It was called “pioneering.” It was West Philadelphia and the college was the University of Pennsylvania.
I suggest it was about as dangerous as these kids found out the world to be. Rape and murder within a block. We carried mugging money. Robbing us at gunpoint, it was considered a pass worth our lives if you had a ten. But we were young and impervious. So we thought.
And the poor souls who live in Chicago are no less vulnerable. But these folks have little choice.
We have the same dangerous conditions here.

No, Z. We get it. We know you back him and want him to win. We (and I believe I’m speaking for Kid, also) keep saying this because you keep saying you wish he would stop some of the things he does and says including his tweeting. He is who he is. We understand you wish him well and want him to be successful. Quit wishing he would act differently ’cause it ain’t Trump and it just ain’t gonna happen! ;o)
