Lanny Davis on his “mistake!”! HA!

“I should have been more clear — including with you — that I could not independently confirm what happened,” Davis, who is an opinion contributor to The Hill, told The Washington Post. “I regret my error.”

AND THAT’S IT?    It’s all “Okay, Lanny!  NO PROBLEM!! You’re a liberal so we get it, you can make mistakes…it’s the Republicans who’d never DARE say they made a ‘MAJOR MISTAKE’ without the sky falling down….”……”I could not independently confirm what happened?  I regret my error!?”   WHAT?

OKAY, Lanny…GOOD BOY!  CNN is fine…you are fine.

REPUBLICANS…go away!  Stop complaining…Lanny didn’t MEAN IT?

and that’s it.

Lanny Davis . . . brings to mind Michael Corleone’s contempt for politicians: “Another pezzonovante.”

Simply another interchangeable clone in the steady and self-perpetuating procession of merdistes borne of the toxic, foetid, contagious, but ever-seductive Oak Island treasure pit of nefarious profit through spin, gossip, innuendo, deceit, hypocrisy, malfeasance, and outright perfidy over which D.C. floats today.

Like all leftistes, Lanny Davis’s influence peddling relies upon the fact that specious rumor will hit every office, cell fone, and media center before the truth gets out of the shower in the morning. And they all know that one sleazy lie wipes out a thousand of the opposition’s attaboys.

The problem with guys like him, AND the alphabet news networks, is that when the American eagle is busy exterminating vermin, the crows squawk and the parrots babble. And what’s worse is that history will very likely be very gentle with them for the simple reason that they’ll be the ones writing and re-writing it.

To leftards, especially those with law degrees, politics is just the trick of saying what people want to hear, especially if it’s scandalous by nature, and then being able to rationally explain why whatever it was you said may have been untrue in fact but still needed to be said at the time “for the good of the American people.”

Imagine how much better off we’d be if our “leaders,” the Pelosis, the Clintons, the Soetoros, the Reids, and the propaganda machine of the liberalistos which endorses them, the lawyers and “journalists” and pundits, would operate under one basic principle I’m certain their grandmothers taught them: “When you tell only the truth, you don’t have to remember how you said what you said or apologize for having said it.”

We can make quite the list of people on the left who haven’t even had a wrist slap yet. I can’t wait until we have Jeanine Pirro as AG.

  3. Do we have a retraction from CNN?

  4. geeez2014 says:, that’s part of the scandal….even quasi-lefties are a bit stunned CNNs basically saying he did nothing wrong, they’re sticking to the story because “They have MORE information WE aren’t privy to!” Sound like they’re defending socialism, doesn’t it? Wait, THEY ARE! 🙂

BOCOPRO is right, AOW, when he says “…and then being able to rationally explain why whatever it was you said may have been untrue in fact but still needed to be said at the time “for the good of the American people.” This is pretty much what CNN’s done in this case. idiots.

Kid, Jeanine will surely kick them around GOOD! I just don’t want to have to hear her Rockette-Balboa voice too much! Like having to listen to Florida’s Nelson!!

Am watching McCain service in AZ… not sure John Kyl had to insult Bush or Trump to flatter McCain, but he SURE DID. I happen to agree with what he said but it wasn’t necessary and was mean.

There’s nothing left to say once Bocopro unleashes his keyboard. He keeps my right-click move in practice with his vocabulary.

I, too, have been watching the John McCain stuff in TV. Meghan McCain is so torn over her Dad’s death that we all feel for her. We have all been there. On the other hand I am getting tired of all the coverage and was dismayed to hear that we have several more days coming. That’s too much. The man was no god, prophet, or saint. Let the dead stay dead.

  8. geeez2014 says:

Bob,, I am SO DONE with the McCain accolades, too……….It’s really like he was a total Saint…leaving a letter behind, etc….Man,!

But he clearly must have been a very caring, good friend……..Feel terrible for Meghan; yes, we have all been there 😦

I just got a message of what could happen if Trump got impeached:

    1. Pense would become POTUS and pardon Trump.
    2. Pence would name Trump as his V.P.
    3. Pence resigns, making Trump POTUS once again.
    4. Trump names Pence as his V.P.

    Problem solved! ;o)
