Bless the beasts and the children………..animals are so beautiful and interesting, and these whales were photographed recently in Alaska by my stepdaughter, Ms Z. Just had to post them for you because this is quite a unique shot.
But, I also want us all to remember “the children”…us….and our hearts and minds. May we try to be as cognizant of OUR needs and OUR desires as groups like PETA are for animals……May we pray for a better country, happier times, and more FAITH.
“Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth And makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?” Job 35:11
As you know, I don’t normally include commentaries but I found the quote so interesting I had to share this:
(11) Who teacheth us.—Or it may be, Who teacheth us by, and maketh us wise by, &c. Then the sense will be that the oppression is so severe that the victims of it forget that God can give songs in the night, and that He has favoured men more than the beasts of the field, and that, as not one sparrow can fall to the ground without Him, so He has even numbered the hairs of those who are of more value to Him than many sparrows.

Bunkerville, they sure are…….and I’ll always ALWAYS put human children first. And I LOVE animals, so that’s not my point.
And it’s good to remember why we’re different than animals…….how faith applies.

I LOVE ANIMALS….THEY’RE DELICIOUS! (I’m kidding, of course. We stopped eating red meat over 30 years ago). Actually, we can learn a lot from them, esp. how they sense things to come, like a tsunami or earthquake, etc. Dogs can sense cancer in people. They are family.

When you think how this scene fills our hearts, can you imagine the joy that the CREATOR gets from seeing His creation?

Baysider, yes, indeed…However, I think our Creator gets a lot less joy from seeing some of his HUMAN creations 🙂 hA!! Me, probably!! !!
Mal, I was at a rehab place where lots of elderly stay, too, and they told me there is a cat which lays in the bed shortly before the patient dies…………very spooky! They ARE clairvoyant, definitely sense things. You’re right!

Nah! You ain’t that old yet, Z. I had also heard about cats…….also dogs…….that serve in that capacity in homes for the elderly. Its really amazing, isn’t it? I’ve also been quick in pointing out what “dog” spells backward, too. Coincidence? Perhaps they’re here, monitoring our every move. Unsettling thought, huh?

Our dog means the world to us. He’s got a lot of human qualities. I guess I’m elderly, butbInhate to admit it. Dogs do seem to sense things. They know when we’re down and give us special attention. I’d hate to be without him. Fantastic picture. She’s very talented.
