I can only hope the FBI concludes the investigation sometime before the 2020 election. I for one don’t trust Wray or anyone in the DOJ with this… Comey now comes out with an op-ed that the FBI can’t possibly get the job done in a week..
Would someone please tell me why only the FBI can use what is called 302’s which are simply the agent summarizing what he/she thinks the person says? Any other State or local would use taped and now videotaped statements as well.

Besides, teenage sexual gropings are not crimes.

I just don’t quite get what Flake or Feinstein or anybody else believes might result from a SEVENTH investigation into Kavanaugh’s background by the FBI.
First, it’s not the job of the FBI, despite what Jim Comey implied in his self-defense, to make conclusions about guilt or innocence or whatever. Its job is to research, interview, compile, and present information as directed by DOJ into specific matters which affect safety, policy, organized crime, and so on.
And as Joe Biden put it so well, back almost 30 years ago when the Democrats pulled this crap on another confirmation hearing, “The next person who refers to an FBI report as being worth anything obviously doesn’t understand anything [about the FBI’s mission]. The FBI explicitly does not, in this case or any other case, reach a conclusion, period.”
IOW, the Bureau simply collects, correlates, and presents facts so that authorized decision-makers can draw conclusions and determine what steps to take on the issue or the principals involved.

My guess they will get Kavanaugh for drinking. I did find him evasive and defensive. He said he never passed out… just went to sleep after stumbling around with the question. He squirmed on that one, and threw the question back on the Senator, “Did you ever black out.”

It’ll be REALLY hard getting him on perjury because they can never ever prove anything about the level of his drinking or if he blacked out or not. Never.
Yes, planned out…why else would it only come up AFTER the hearings?
My question stands: If libs have called Trump hateful and scary for bringing up problems with our FBI, they’re even bigger hypocrites than we think they are because by saying the FBI couldn’t get it right SIX TIMES, they’re slamming its abilities pretty damned hard.

I believe the left is asking the FBI to check the facts relating to the charge of groping, being as it never came up during the previous 6 background checks, but there still isn’t anything that should influence his confirmation, but since when do they need a legal reason? They can and have been doing pretty much anything they want WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE MAJORITY OF THE MEDIA. THATS the problem! This could of AND SHOULD’VE been a done deal were it not for “Flakey Flake” of Arizona. I sure hope he is running and loses in November!

Core to this whole situation is that we know there are major crimes on the left, but the repubs need not have every put a girls pigtails in the ink well???? When are the repubs going to fight fire with fire? That is my issue that still cause great consternation. Lindsey Graham is making some noise but We Know most of these dem POS’s could be taken down in no time. Disturbing.
