A LITANY OF SCARY, WORRISOME STUFF>>>>>>>HERE WE GO!

God forbid you actually sign up for a dating service for Trump supporters……….you’ll be outed immediately.  I remember reading recently about how young Trump White House staff are miserable because they literally can’t get dates because they work (Gasp!) for HIM!   That is hideous.  And then THIS?

Such horrible hate is echoing EVERYWHERE……….

My Romanian/Hungarian friends across the pool here at my condo just got back from their home in Romania….He’s plugged into American politics and is scared witless we’re going so Socialist……She’s not at all plugged in politically.   She came over yesterday afternoon and shared stories about their month in Europe.  Know what stunned me?  She said….

‘WE WATCHED CNN INTERNATIONAL WHILE WE WERE THERE…….NO WONDER EUROPE HATES US’

I very well  remember CNN Int’l from living in Munich and Paris, and I’ve mentioned here, several times, HOW much more liberal it is than here (although I haven’t seen it for 15 years, way before the TRUMP HATE caused CNN to go INSANE)…but for Liana to notice because it’s SO bad there?  WOW.

A Texas judge didn’t work the other day;  he canceled all his cases and hung black bunting all over the outside and inside of the courtroom in his anger that Kavanaugh has been put on the Supreme Court.

ARE WE NUTS TO PUT UP WITH THIS CRAP?   Is America EVER going to recover from the horrible hate, the incivility, the lies, the ignoring of really GOOD things Trump’s doing?

Apparently, Kelly and Bolton had a big ‘screaming fight’ about immigration……..who told anybody about that?  WHAT IS WITH THE WHITE HOUSE LEAKING LIKE A SIEVE???

ARE WE GOING TO RECOVER?  I could write a six page post on incredibly horrible things the Left’s leaking, doing, saying, mischaracterizing…

HELP!

  1. Not being a Leftard has become dangerous because their “operatives” are everywhere.

This has always been true in some regard here in the D.C. area, from at least 1956 onward. For example, Dad had to be a member of the union to work where he did; he retired in 1973 or 1974. Even then, the union was ordering members how to vote. God forbid one should admit to voting for a candidate of which the union didn’t approve. Dad managed to keep his job for two reasons: (1) his seniority of 30+ years with the company, and (2) he never told the union bosses for whom he voted. “Secret ballot,” was his stock response

Note: To keep Mom and I safe, Dad canceled his subscriptions to all conservative publications, with the one exception of his membership in the NRA.

I could cite more examples, but the above is enough for now.

Yeah, I’ve often said that we could bring down the cost of health care by almost 50%, and virtually eliminate diabetes, if we just (1) shut down the border – EVERYWHERE – and (2) eliminate all food and beverage adverts on TV, slick-paper magazines, and electronic social media.

Then we could improve race relations tremendously as well as allowing women the benefits of social equality by barring rap “music” and the countless entertainment-industry onanism awards ceremonies from the country . . . and disbanding the NFL.

And by reducing “news” and “analysis” programs on TV to no more than twice per day, 0600 and 1800 with broadcasts no longer than 30 minutes each, we could get the camera Hoggs, Spartacus wannabees, and judges and congresskritters long past their autopsy dates out of our faces and allow gubmint to do its job.

What we need today at this critical point in our cultural development is a mandatory crash course for politicians, knowitalls, and agitprops in advanced Siddown & Shaddap.

Z, yea, too much to say….

On the dating, I don’t see that as a bad thing. It is better if a conservative finds out quick like a bunny that a potential dating partner is a libtard. When I was out in the dating scene at a bar perhaps and walked up to a woman and said Hi, and she said Get Lost, I said Thank You. Didn’t have to waste a single drink on her.

The left – What the hell is it they want or hope to gain by putting human garbabe in charge?
I want my taxes to go up 200% ! I want my 401K down 75% ! I want to see 50% Unemployment ! I want open borders with as many murderers and rapists coming across as possible !!!

Honestly. I hope they start shooting.

Kid, the dating thing is metaphorical; not a good thing for young bright people feeling like Typhoid Mary…..And they apparently do. How could they not? I do sometimes around liberals around here!

Bocopro…I LOVED Trump’s idea of taking money from countries allowing illegals through into the USA but I think this could be a trap now….he’s talking about more military on the borders. ONE person dies and we have even more trouble on midterm election day.
You should hear CNN lament what problems these people are leaving…..to come here to safety, as if we have no problems here~??? The response needs to be “we’re SO sorry they’re suffering….let’s hope they stay home and fix things”
Agree 100% on STOPPING 24/7 news, where we must hear people who know LESS THAN WE DO ON PLENTY SUBJECTS wax on and on and on….on CNN and FOX both.

AOW: I NEVER EVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WAS THAT BAD BACK THEN BUT I SUPPOSE THE ‘HATE CONSERVATIVE’ THING WAS ALMOST SOLELY WITHIN THE UNIONS BECAUSE MOST REPUBLICANS DID FAIRLY WELL IN ELECTIONS BACK THEN.

    GOOD FOR TRUMP! I have to leave to be at school by 6:30 but HAD to reiterate here what I just heard from Trump’s speech last night;

“….we have to vote for Republicans in a couple of weeks because we know the Democrats know that their encouraging illegals into our country means they’ll vote Democrat! Democrats are not stupid! We have to get REPUBLICANS VOTING…..actually, THIS ISN’T REPUBLICAN VERSUS DEMOCRAT…THIS IS COMMON SENSE!”:

yes! I hope that wasn’t just a thought he had suddenly, I HOPE THAT’S A MEME THE RIGHT STARTS TO USE LIKE THE LIBS USE PHRASES OVER AND OVER AGAIN…

IT IS COMMON SENSE……..VOTE COMMON SENSE………….!!

Doesn’t that make sense to voters!? GOOD ONE, DONALD.

My initial thought was exactly what Kid said. Better to learn up front about your date so you don’t get aggravated or waste time. As to the graduating senior who reached out to Bernie, this is exactly why kids have no business voting until they become responsible working citizens. Originally, when our country was founded, only male land owners could vote. Then they widened it to all males over age 21. That lasted till women’s suffrage, but remained age 21. During WW ll the question of 18 year olds going to war but not able to vote prompted lowering the age to 18. I believe the exception should be made for those in the military only. The rest should be age 28 or even 30 where they couldn’t be influenced by lib. prof’s.

According to “Senator” Booker, teenage males are too immature to make reasonable decisions about many things, especially sexual relationships, career paths, and long-term investments.

And many psychologists and physiologists believe the higher-order logic and reasoning centers of the human brain are not fully matured in most individuals, especially males, until 22 years at the earliest.

I know for a fact that I did not . . . and didn’t even WANT to . . . grow up until my daughters became young women, sometime in my mid-30s.

Azamatterafact, I voted for George Wallace — TWICE — as a rejection of the other candidates, particularly Humphrey, who was about as decisive as a mood ring, and Tricky Dick Nixon, whom I would never consider buying a used car from.

    Tell me THAT ain’t immature.

And then of course there’s this to consider:

Not just this school, of course….I told the kid telling me about it that it was total rubbish and just another way to get as many left names, etc….he said he’s a conservative. NO DOIBT IN MY MIND IT’S YET ANOTHER WAY TO.GET IDIOT YOUNG KIDS WHO DRINK THE LIB KOOL AID RECORDED. I think nobody under 30 should vote but I can’t imagine asking 18 year olds to die in Iraq….
    But you can’t vote

We live in an increasing complex society; part of this is our politics and given the state of public education for the past 70 years, young people no longer have a frame of reference for what transpired before. They are taught to consider their world emotionally rather than intellectually. Add to this the fact that the human brain isn’t fully formed until around the age of 24-years, How then can we expect an 18-year old to vote responsibly, which is to say, well armed to form a mature judgment in matters of political candidates or state constitutional amendments?

Thomas Sowell says it perfectly: “The problem isn’t that Johnny can’t read. The problem isn’t even that Johnny can’t think. The problem is that Johnny doesn’t know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling.”

In my sophomore year at Ball State, with a very respectable A- average, I decided I really wasn’t adding a whole lot of useful knowledge to what I’d picked up in high school, so I walked away.

Mother asked me what my plan was, and when the answer I gave seemed vague and not particularly reassuring to her, she said, “Well, you got 30 days, and then you start paying rent.”

Back then (late 50s) 20-yr-old guys didn’t hang around in Mom’s basement indefinitely, and they got dropped from the family auto insurance policy PDQ. Plus . . . Uncle Sam was always lookin for a few unemployed boys to wear out Army boots and salute anything that moved and paint anything that didn’t.

You either got outta town, married a rich girl, went to college, or got a 40-hr/wk job and supported yourself. Having been raised in corn and Duroc country, I already knew how to dig a hole, drive a truck, and handle weapons, so I didn’t see much future in Army or USMC life. And somethin about the USAF just seemed suspicious, like a no-show jobs program or somethin.

So it was haze gray and underway for this Boone County boy. Three hots and a cot, industry-related training, fair advancement system, and all the camaraderie and esprit-de-corps a guy could want. Steady pay, steady chow, steady work, steady change of scenery.

Yeah, yeah . . . . I know — military life ain’t for everybody. But if you can learn to do electrical wiring, repair engines, maintain heating and cooling systems, weld, solder, nail, saw, type, supervise, fix radars, operate communications gear, manage an office, assist doctors, keep airplanes flying, and avoid more than 3 or 4 brawls in foreign ports per year, you could invest just a few years and come out with a resume that employers were eager to look at.

I wasn’t ready to sire children, partner up with a demanding filly, do the same thing every day 5 days a week for 40 years just to be eligible for a minimum retirement and Social Security and a cerebral hemorrhage or coronary occlusion at 65.

Hadda do it MY way — and Uncle Sugar paid for my BA and MA so I could go corrupt civilians’ children as a second career.

What I’ve NEVER been able to understand is why, if I could be successful thataway, other guys had such a hard time setting goals, building strategies, investing for the future, and avoiding having to dig ditches or sell narcotics to earn a living by the time they were out of Mom’s basement and off her insurance.

Went out, got a job, had a helluva lotta fun, then settled down when I was around 24 or so and began experimenting with sleeping in a bed with the same warm female every night when I wasn’t on duty and could afford to feed her and put a roof over her head. Started growin up when babies started showin up. Finished that job when I was around 35, at which time I was finally ready to deal with pesky things such as mortgages, insurance, neighbors, and congresskritters.

Other than finding a pot of gold or winning the Irish Sweepstakes, I think that’s not a bad plan, purty close to how it oughta be done.

Mal and Kid, my point about White House Trump workers not able to get dates is HOW MANY YOUNG PEOPLE hate him and won’t even associate with people with him……..not weeding out the people you don’t want to go out with, anyway, tho that’s a given. it stunned me the unhappiness some people are going through………
